This hotel became ukrainian refugee camp. Feel so annoyed paying 250 euro for night, on my floor 100% occupancy was refugees….I don’t mind refugees but if I’m paying 250 euro per night i expecting hotel relax time, no staying in such environment. Corridors are stinky, kids running on corridors ,carry their bikes to the rooms, refugees in tracksuit carry dishes from room to room..etc.Very disappointing

The Housekeeping was fabulous, the room lovely, soft bed and decor beautiful. The amazing part comes when I write about the food. Whatever you pay the Chef it’s not enough, make sure he stays. The menu is varied and reasonable and service and quality of food second to none- will always stay here when touring Donegal. Other staff great, nothing too much bother.

We stopped for sunday lunch, it was fabulous! A 4 course buffet was on offer and it was truly delightful. Will definitely return to eat there again. Didn't stay in the hotel so can't comment on that part but the whole feel was clean and friendly.

False advertising on website! Says food served from 12pm daily only to land and be told food doesn't start until 4pm. Place was completely empty didn't even look open. Rang phone several times with no answer! Very disappointed and inconvenienced

We had our wedding in mulroy in January. It was everything we could ever dream of the staff were so friendly and helpful . We couldn't have had our amazing day with out Caroline she helped us out so much she even helped get us a dj when ours cancelled last minute. The room was everything I wanted and it was thanks to the staff that made it happen. I'll definitely be telling everyone mulroy woods is the place to have your wedding thank you again for everything

Nice hotel in a scenic location however the restaurant is a bit of a let down , called in while passing, ordered 3 main courses which never came , I know places can be busy and I wouldn't have an issue with the wait but for the fact customers who came in and ordered after we did had already been served and there were very few customers, so we decided to pay for the drinks we had and explain to the staff we had to go without making a fuss but then had to advise them of the fact we hadn't had any food when they requested payment for the 3 meals , disappointing experience and it is shame as what they had on the menu looked really inviting

Had a great few days at the hotel. Room was spotless and comfortable. We ate in bar both nights. My partner is a coeliac and was well catered for by the chef. Anyone who suffers from being a coeliac will understand how important this is. Can't wait to go back again for a restful break and a cold pint!

Lovely hotel , nice rooms with great food just breakfast service was let down B&B in room was added in package booked but card for breakfast wasn't lifted from door over night , so took an hr to get breakfast after calling about this. Then tried to say was charge for this even when is included- they decided to drop the charge then. Nice place but bit off let down.

Having stayed before we called in for evening meal with family and as always meal, atmosphere, service and the friendly staff is second to none. Definitely worth a visit.

Very poor meal on the 12th July. Turkey was tastless and rubbery the ham unedible because of being too salty. When we complained about the 30 minute wait the manager dumped our dinner down without a word of apology. My wife's burger came without the advertised extras. Waiting staff were very nice but would not go back.

Mixed experience. Good location and generally clean and tidy. Because there was a shortage of availability, we had to make two separate bookings for two room types. No issue there. Oddly enough, for our second (more expensive) booking they were trying to put us in a inferior room type (shower instead of bath; smaller room; on a noisier corridor; ground floor facing Carpark and road instead of 1st floor facing courtyard). Only after some lengthy explanations and negotiations did they see the error of their ways and put us in the correct room type. If we hadn’t spent the previous 3 nights with them, we wouldn’t have known we were placed in accommodation that didn’t match what we paid for. Conclusion? If you’re planning on staying here, just pay the cheapest rate because they will randomly allocate you a room anyway.

So much potential at this hotel but quite disappointing stay. Rooms are ok but furniture quite dated. Carpet would look better if it matched. Breakfast was very disappointing. Not much choice at all. No cheeses or meats available. No yoghurts. Ran out of pastries on our 2nd morning. Far nicer hotels in County Donegal.

We held our Prom here a couple weeks ago in peak summer season , the staff of the mulroy woods were absolutely top tier in terms of hospitality from friendly chats to speedy bar service we could not have asked for any better . We would like to extend an extra special appreciation to the manager Caroline who helped us with various favours through out organising our prom , she arranged a photo wall , table centre pieces and a sweet cart for us completely of her own back , she was so hardworking and helpful with every query we had . Our prom night went extraordinary well in the elegant ballroom with no issues and the Mulroy Woods staff is to thank for that - they made us all feel so welcome from the moment we arrived . We would highly recommend holding events and celebrations here !

We stayed here for 2 nights, paid 4 star rates but this is not a 4 star hotel ...no atmosphere we should have been informed about the refugees staying in the hotel...... Reception wasn't even attended when we were checking our to complain. Very unsatisfactory.
