This is not only the best Thai restaurant but the best restaurant in Hermiston. I love Thai food and have had it all over, Lawans is just the best. The owners are so incredibly nice and hospitable. Don't miss out on this hidden gem. I've tried over half the menu and LOVE it all. The salad rolls, khao soi, curry fried rice, and Thai noodle salad are phenomenal.

We shared a pad Thai and curry. Very flavourful. Very pleasant experience. Last day of the fair so restaurant was quiet and we got to visit with the staff a bit.

Absolutely love this place! Staff is super friendly and conscientious, and the food is the best around! I have eaten in, and had takeout over the course of several years and have never been disappointed. This little hidden gem is THE BEST restaurant in the Hermiston area! Prices are affordable and portion sizes are great! I've ordered the pad Thai noodles hundreds of times and they are always consistent and delicious 🤤

Very quiet place to enjoy a Thai meal. And if you do not know of what meal to try, take a risk. The salad rolls are a definite yes!!! Cool flavor, u can add chicken, or shrimp inside. Made with shredded veggies on the inside. And the peanut or sweet chili dipping sauces are both delicious and add a great flavor to an already good appetizer. Let your imagination go wild and you can add spices to give it some kick but beware. Too hot and you will be feeling it all day. Drink some hot jasmine tea and enjoy time with family. Great family home owned business.

This IS your Mom & Dad's Thai restaurant, with a local winery support twist, only slightly Americanized. The atmosphere is dated and traditional in that 1975-1985 sort of way, which is absolutely meaningless when compared to the service and food! Road construction currently (2/2023) makes it difficult to get into or out of right now, but the trouble is worth it for the flavors and spice. The ingredients are fresh, the sauces are homemade, and the spice is VERY traditional - as in order above two stars only if you KNOW you can handle the heat. Seriously, because they will not remake something you ordered wrong, which I can appreciate. Additionally, they sell wine from local vineyards by the bottle at a reasonable markup when compared to the standard pricing for bars per bottle.

This place is a gem and well worth the detour off the main highway for some authentic Thai cuisine. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and my green curry was spicy and flavorful.

I came here because of the positive reviews. I was not disappointed. I ordered pad thai with chicken and I loved it. The next night I ordered the shrimp salad rolls. The peanut sauce was perfect. Some peanut sauces taste like melted peanut butter, but not this one. Lovely family operation. Highly recommend. I didn't take any photos because zi couldn't wait to dig in.

Our food was great but a tad spicy. I ordered a 3 out of 5 and my partner requested the milder 2. Hers was very spicy and mine was less but still little hot. The men's washroom had no toilet paper also the paper towels were empty and the garbage cans were overflowing. They were super busy in the restaurant and take out as well. Probably a shortage of workers leaving the few overtaxed.

This is the absolute best Thai restaurant in Hermiston by a long shot. They are super friendly and always make great food. We are lucky to have such an authentic restaurant in town.

Their Pad Thai is the best, along with their spring rolls and peanut sauce. They have wonderful customer service!

if you are from Portland, don't come here, very terrible service and quality it is not a Oregon state style !First, saw hairs in fried rice, asked to exchang it to teriyaki beef, but got ‘’teriyaki chicken‘’, told the waitress, but she insisted we said chicken, not beef. and enforced us to leave the place.

The Drunk Noodles is my favorite dish from pretty much anywhere! I have been twice now and plan to go many more times in the future. I brought my very picky mom with and she loved their teriyaki over rice. 15/10 Will recommend to everyone!!!

I highly recommend the food here. It's absolutely wonderful. The lamb curry is my favorite, and I order it every time I come here. The staff is friendly, and the prices are fair.

Amazing food, even better service. I’ve never had a bad experience or bad dish here. My favorite is chicken pad thai and calamari. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Hermiston, never disappointed.

We were traveling through and going to Mexico so wanted to get some Thai food before we get stuffed with tacos. This was delicious. The calamari was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Pad phet was so flavorful. Very authentic, taste like my mom's. Highly recommended.

The satay was OK. The massamun curry was decent. Brown rice is extra but worth it if you like it. Had a couple of Singha beers. Service was friendly.

I work in Hermiston about once a month and this place is a must for our crew every time we go. The food is ment to be shared so come hungry and bring friends. Menu highlights for me are the papaya salad, half chicken, sticky rice combo as well as the larb.

Where do I even begin. The tofu was extremely chewy and spongelike, the food containers had holes in them so the soup was all over the bag, the "orange chicken" was so mushy and chewy my dog wouldnt eat it. I have no idea how this place has close to 5 stars, maybe i caught them on a bad day with bad staff, or, people around here have never experienced actual decent thai food since they are the only ones around and they dont know any better. Im seeing posts from 3 years ago with the same exact experience, so its likely not a one time deal. We wont be back. We will keep travelling to Kennewick instead.
