Park Campground Recreation center Rv park Camp

😠 This place doesn't even deserve a single star, but to write a review i had to give them at least 1. There's also a homeless camp just around the corner. They're security guy is too drunk to care about the homeless people walking around stealing things off lots (had many things stolen) and overdosing... People often mention park, months, staff, nice,

This place doesn't even deserve a single star, but to write a review i had to give them at least 1. There's also a homeless camp just around the corner. They're security guy is too drunk to care about the homeless people walking around stealing things off lots (had many things stolen) and overdosing on drugs There were 2 drug overdoses within a week apart while we were at our stay. Not to mention needles outside the bathroom doors on a daily basis! The staff are entitled trolls, trolling around trying to find something to complain about. If you're going to have a "maintenance person" they should at least be able to maintain their teeth let alone their hygiene. It's no wonder the place looked like a dump, SO many trailers falling apart. It felt like a trailer park in Canada....you know the show (Trailer Park Boys) "Amenities" make sure you get your tetanus shot! Black mold in the pool, green thick algae in the hot tub, and small closet called a "gym". NOT KID FRIENDLY! NOT A RESORT!

Spent a week in March 2023 for kids spring break. Based on reviews I was worried about this place but honestly we had a nice time. People were nice and friendly. The park is just geared toward older crowd. Pool is nothing special, no playground, no dog park. It’s conveniently located and we enjoyed the area and did many of the touristy things. Like others have said the spaces are very tight. About a foot between our awning and neighbors slide, no picnic table, no fire ring. Some of the permanent units do look run down but there were a lot of nice rigs too (probably the snow bird crowd). We would come back but only if it was the only option, we’d try elsewhere first.

We enjoy this campground and all the amenities! Pool, spa, fitness room, laundry and shuffle board. Different activities and gatherings at the local hall building. They have a nice dog park area for large and small dogs, right by the pond. Not too crowded, yet, but is is early November.

The location is great, shops and restaurants were very close. Outdoor activities like fishing, boating are plenty. Alexander and Salt springs are not too far. The campsites are ample and well kept . The staff is very courtious and attentive. Laundry room is very clean with plenty of washers and dryers. We enjoyed this campground and hope to come back soon.

They don't accept packages for anyone staying here. Laundry closes 8 pm. Tiny pool- other one is closed. We got stuck across a busy road at the "Pines' no dog park or pool over here. It's a section of the "resort" that feels like we got stuck out in a spare field. This does not qualify as a resort. No activities going on except meals basically. Location is in the middle of lakes and springs. The location is its only good point. Office is closed on Sundays. I don't want to return to this poor representation of 1000 Trails/Encore.

I'm a resident currently,I also stayed for a year in the recent past. The first time we had no issues. I've been here 4 months and am appaled at the level of incompetence. I'm living alone, have 1 leg and a traumatic brain injury/disabled and not working ,divorced a year ago . I also have no way to move my very large camper other than hiring a service. I arrived here to pay when I moved from a campground farther away 4 months ago and was never told over the phone I would be required to pay the full 6 months up front. I explained the situation I was in they said I could do monthly for a certain price , which I accepted , they did say I would have to move to other lots if needed. I've been in the same spot since my arrival. Yesterday I called a day early to pay lot rent which was increased by 100 last 2 months . Anyways I called yesterday to pay and they not only told me I must move today to a different lot that they also will not renew me next month . They were not going to tell me i needed to switch lots until today. Scrambled to find money i dont have and had to beg tge service i used last time to fit me in .Also I was told I was good for 6 months when I moved here . I explained my 24 year old son in the army currently deployed to Romania was coming home in 2 months and taking over the camper payment and putting lot rent in his name for the full year. She said I can't do that , it has to be registered in his name . So they refused to accommodate a disabled person and an Army veteran. I have been a manager for 17 years so I know how things should be handled . She was extremely rude and unsympathetic. Last month I went in to pay the agreed price and it was 100 more I asked why and they said no its always been this price . I was in a hurry so I didn't go farther in my line of questioning. But I went through my banking and in fact was paying 100 less the first 2 months . On my receipt yesterday it shows a mysterious $100 fee ? Hmm I don't know what's going on in their office and or management but I would be very careful in your dealings with this place. I have no where to go and 30 days to figure it out.

We spent 4 weeks at this campgrounds. The staff are amazing. Very welcoming and friendly. The park is very clean. This is a big RV park and is always busy. Yet they continue to keeping it clean. The bathrooms are cleaned 4 times a day and are never dirty! The pool is a nice size, and that is kept up nice as well. This is our 2nd time camping here. We're kind of new at this so we're quite picky where we stay. We're definitely going back next year. We'll miss all of the great people and staff! Thank you all for such wonderful hospitality

This place sucks! They are a big park but they have overfilled it with too many lots. There’s maybe 6 feet between campers. We have a 5th wheel. There’s not enough room to park it and our truck on our assigned lot. When asked, they won’t allow you to park in empty lots and tell you that it’s campground rules. They tell you to use the “overflow parking” which isn’t even close to the lot we were at. When asked to speak to the owner, one of the ladies told me to “talk to the big corporation” and rudely brushed me off. On top of all of this, the sewer hookup is uphill. I was told that it was all new and redone. Apparently it wasn’t done right as these holding tanks are gravity fed. Makes it a miserable experience to dump your tanks.

Good campground. Internet not good and is pay to get. Friendly staff, clean. Spots are cramped but doable.

👍👍 Hidden Waters Preserve in Eustis offers a fascinating hike with elevation changes and interesting terrain. We did not see where the sinkhole was that is supposedly easy to find. It's a short but sweet Preserve with shaded areas. Free to walk around.

Boat ramp
😐 Marsh Park is a very nice park, well maintained. The boat ramp not so much. Over grown trees make ramp narrow to the point that launching more than 1 boat at a time is extremely difficult if not impossible. it is shallow and dock is so high from water level that it's very difficult for one person to...
