Don't a book by its cover. Go where the locals go. Just like the understated shop front. The breakfast was cooked really well. Service was incredible!!! When the locals call the Barista by name upon entering, sits down, order is prepared and delivered within literally 2 minutes from the time they entered into the front door. customer service speaks volumes. Honestly I have rarely seen such attention to detail, placement of coffee / food orders. Without the customer saying anything. Really really impressed Adam No wonder this ship is so popular with locals

We'd recommend this cafè. Pleasant, efficient service. Really enjoyed the coffee ☕. Felt like good ol', home-made style cafè food & we'd eat there again.

Really friendly and personable staff! We came for breakfast three times during our holiday, and weren't dissapointed 😊 Would recommend the tropical smoothie and the 'french toast meets pancakes'. Super delicious!

5 stars for the coffee and carrot cake and staff and cosy book nook!!! 1 star for the toasty…. slightly rancid butter and microwaved I think. Regretted eating it 👎🏻

Nice cafe with a large dining table seating six at the rear. Old books on shelves around the walls at the back. They smell a bit musty, but I liked the atmosphere they created. Everything we ordered was great. Good service from friendly staff.

I would recommend this place, have been here several times and always been delighted. So cozy and has nice atmosphere because of the little library. Ordered eggs Benedict and they were really nice. If you near this place, it would be fine to visit🍰

The burger was flavourful, and the chips were a bit too crispy but still tasty I also had iced chocolate, which was refreshing to drink

Yum. Had the beef pot pie special, delicious! Sat outside in the sunshine. Also liked that the paper straw in my juice didn't get all soggy. Obviously a better quality straw than some places use.

First stop of the morning when I'm on the central coast for work. Nothing better than a cafe that combines a book shop, just wish I had more time to peruse the books. Good coffee and friendly service

Left feeling ripped off & annoyed. My husband and I ordered 2 serving of raisin toast 2 slices came out on one plate, keep in mind we paid $6 each you'd expect it to come out on two seperate plates. We recieved 1 slice each paid $12 for supermarket bought raisin toast.

Great coffee & excellent service! The cakes were fresh and delectably creamy - perfect pairing with coffees! Meals are reasonably priced…the place is clean and cozy . Great experience for a weekend café treat.

Went in for two coffees to go. This cafe used to have a decent Barista, but terrible today. A long black and an almond flat white. When I saw the way the milk was poured for the flat white, I knew we were in for disappointment. When I picked up the two takeaway cups, I could smell the long black was scorched and burnt. Sure enough, the coffee was terrible.

Nice little place. Coffee was great and service was quick. What we had was a little lacklustre. Bit of salt on the chips would be nice and wrap was a little bland

The coffee was great, the atmosphere was welcoming, food portion was generous although lamington could be less sweet. More importantly, the staff was very accomodating, they saw me having an online meeting about their closing time yet they cleaned up so gently and swiftly so I could work.

Very friendly environment. Relaxed. Very friendly staff. They virtually know our names and our regular orders. Personally, my go-to-cafe in Umina. Can be noisy at times with regular groups just being themselves.

Just popped in for a coffee and croissant as I was passing through the area..Disappointed to be informed..no croissants..What good coffee shop/Cafe runs out of croissants before 10am..??? Ordered a ham & cheese toastie which was supposed to be served with a side of salad but salad was missing.. Coffee however was nice as was the ambience...

A super cosy and beautifully adorned cafe in a cute seaside town :-) Was furnished with lots of little Victorian trinkets like tea cups, and had tons of books!!! Even saw some classic leather-bound editions on the shelves. Food was good and the atmosphere was very welcoming and warm! The owners are always smiling. Will definitely come back here next time I visit Sydney :-)
