This place located at Bandar in Al Raha area is having sit out and well maintained sit in area. I loved the Afghani dishes it serves. Got quite a few vegetarian ones too. Interiors are done with taste. Dogs are also allowed in the sit out area.

Just had a dinner at Nolus al Bandar with my brother. The best chicken kebab and mantoo dumplings. The staff and manager are very friendly and talkative. I would recommend everyone to come to try Afghani dishies.

This an edit to a previous 5 star rating I made. It brings sadness to my heart that this amazing restaurant has become below average. It used to be absolutely amazing but not anymore. Food quality decreased significantly. Please bring back the Old Nolu's (I am certain the chef has changed along with the staff). After being a loyal customer, it pains me to say goodbye to this restaurant. There is no more harmony in the ingredients. The packaging has become the worst.

The last time I’ve been to Nolu’s Al Bandar was back in 2013 and I must say the place has gone downhill ever since. The hostess that “greeted” me, the waitress, and staff were all very passive aggressive as if they were paying the bill for me. The ambiance of the place is really beautiful, there’s nothing as beautiful as having a meal by the sea. However the food wasn’t great. I had the manti, koobideh, and tropical juice. The manti was fine. I personally found the flavours to be so overwhelming. The koobideh was very disappointing and not juicy, even old. The best aspect of that dish was the yogurt. I can’t believe I’m saying this but the juice was the best aspect of the entire meal, the flavours worked together so beautifully. I was disappointed when I checked out their desserts as none where made in house and all were catered. Overall, I wouldn’t be back.

A wonderful brunch experience at Nolu’s. Three of us came here for Sunday lunch. The restaurant is busy, but there are plenty of tables. Luckily, we got a window seat and the view was amazing! The food was great. We had the pumpkin toast, the steak on toast and a wrap. So generous with the amount. The rose latte was great too. The decor is modern, simple, bright and relaxing. The service is more than amazing. The waiter came to check whether we need anything a couple of times and double checked with us about price and extra charge before putting the request of an extra egg over. Will definitely visit again if I’m in the area.

I always love the food and love the place. But this time it was really disappointing we went there late to have dinner they were closing after 45 min. We ordered salad and two main courses. The salad wasn’t fresh like you see in the photos but we ate it we were hungry especially the cucumber was really bad. Kabab and other main course was good and delicious but after I left got sick from the salad and the spices. They should not serve anything old no matter what. Above all decoration and atmosphere are so nice service is excellent and nice view on the water in Al Bandar plaza in Al Raha Beach. Prices are normal 84 AED for the main course 55 AED for the salad.

Went here for Iftar the other night and had a great experience. The food was delicious, they accommodated allergies and dietary restrictions well. Everything was made in a timely fashion and the servers were very friendly and welcoming. I appreciated how they came out several times and asked if everything was okay and if there was anything else they could get us. They really have a good sense of flavour when making their dishes. Friendly suggestions: have some fans/cooling system outside to help with heat, have a separate vegetarian/vegan menu to make it easier, make sure to not run out of dishes like soups and cake, validate parking costs, add some small back pillows to the chairs for more comfort and use environmentally friendly packaging for the take out boxes. First time eating and Nolu’s and wont be the last one. The food is fresh and tasty, the service is good and there is a nice calmed atmosphere. Even though when we went there they had ran out of salmon and beef the servers made everything possible to make our experience 10/10. I built my own bowl, which i have to say was deli and my boyfriend ordered the chicken burger. All these with very nice views of the canal.

We had breakfast there during the weekend and It was not crowded. We sat at the window which was a bit hot but it expected at this time of the year 😁 but the view was amazing. The food was nice and the portions were big. We ordered the turkish egg, nouls foul and french toast and shared between the 3 of us, the food was more than enough 😋 and we enjoyed it alot.

The view of Al Muneera is great from the restaurant. I wanted to go for breakfast, but more than half of the items on the breakfast menu were not available. I was disappointed. They should either work on their menu or source the ingredients to actually offer food to their customers.

Being a fan of Afghani food, this restaurant does not taste anything like authentic Afghan cuisine. Our server was top notch and made sure everything was well served but again the food was just not to par.

The food was edible, but the quality was lacking and the hollandaise seemed to be from a jar. My friend's omelette was rubbery and looked like it was prepared in a microwave (not sure). It's winter I understand, the season when the flies are active, but there were 3 flies around my table INSIDE the restaurant. They don't deal with it. After a memorable lunch at their Khalifa branch, we decided to dine at the weekend in their Raha branch. A beautiful location for a family lunch. Unfortunately, they messed up our order, and the food was disappointing. The chicken kebob was dry and the rice too salty and greasy, the shrimp pasta was average and the barley soup tasted totally different than the first time we ordered it. Evething we tried seemed processed or reheated (on the contrary of our experience in their Khalifa branch). On another hand the cheesecake was outstanding!

Once more i have been disappointed. Wait 1h (notability I’m a resident in al Bandar) for a cold burger and poor fries....65AED! Never ever again and luckily there are more options around al Bandar.
