First hike ever in UAE. Trail- Indeed a friendly trail and suitable for beginners like me. Experience - very rewarding. Scenery - its new and its very amazing, especially when you reach even one stop. Better bring water or snacks. Would i come back? Yes of course, but maybe ill try during winter. We rode a private car going there and we ate in their city there are fast food restaus there near the beach.

A very scenic trail for beginners. A must climb for fitness enthusiasts and nature lovers. Inspiring views of the city, port and the sea! There are two options you can choose from- either come back from the first peak or go to the second and higher one. I recommend that you do both. About 2 hours should be sufficient for this activity. Early start is recommended. Head straight to Lilac cafe in Khorfakkan if you fancy a hot breakfast and good coffee. This activity would give you a total accent of 415m!

It’s 1 hour and a half drive away from Dubai so better start leaving early. Bring water and light food but don’t bring too much if you’re a beginner since the stuffs can add to your weight. Trail is definitely good for beginner although I suggest to do some exercise and prepare your legs weeks before the hike. There is a well-laid trail so you won’t get lost. Although the trail can get more challenging as you accelerate but the incline is gradual. The view is definitely worth the hike. So amazing!

A well-marked trail with breathtaking views. Went on a Wednesday morning and we had the place almost to ourselves. It’s challenging at times but the incline is not too bad. There are two peaks: the first one is Al Shahs mountain top and the second one is the Al Rabi Mountain. I’d suggest following the proper hiking trail (on the left) not the road on the right as this one was quite steep and slippery. Plus, there are a few shaded rest areas on the trails and the views are nicer. No toilets at the beginning of the trail.

Great hike. Technically not very difficult and takes you over to two different mountain peaks. Top is above 400m, take a fair bit of water as it gets hot and unless you take the shortcut route, prepare for 3-4 hours.

We did it in March month. We started early in the morning around 5:30. By 7 we are at first peak. It’s twin trail. Carry water bottle and torch. Car goes till rabi tower. Than you start hiking. Choose yellow lane. First 45 minutes hike is bit high slop. Later it’s relatively easy. It’s beginner hike. At the top you can see the view of the whole city. Very cool please peaceful environment. There is small cafe at the beginning. Toilet are there. Don’t litter with plastics. We collected a lot of plastic from the top.

The seaside city of Khorfakkan in Sharjah is truly a hidden gem in the UAE. Along with its chilled beach town vibes, a gorgeous waterfall, an amphitheater, amazing local food, and the Al Rabi Mountain Trail, it’s a truly enjoyable trekking destination. The drive from downtown Dubai to the Al Rabi Mountain Trail takes approximately 1.5 hours on a scenic road surrounded by mountains. No 4x4 vehicle is needed. You only need to carry water; toilets are available at the base station. There are sufficient markings to guide you along the trekking track. Parking is available for free. Additionally, there is a restaurant at the base. A full round trip of one mountain takes approximately 2 hours for both the ascent and descent. I recommend starting the journey early in the morning to avoid the heat and humidity

My favorite hiking spot! Intermediate difficulty level. There is two peaks that you can hike on. The view from the top is magnificent. You can see the corniche and port and city on the other side, while the beautiful pristine beach on the other! Must visit if you want some connection time with nature 😍

Exceptionally good trail with ample parking lots at the base. Prepared to hike for 3 to 4 hours and it’s not a joy ride, as it may sound like. Keep 1 to 2 litters of water, few packets of snacks/bananas and a towel in your backpack. It’s advisable to take the hiking stick or any stick that is useful, rather than walking without any. On the way back there is an Omani petrol pump and pop up barbecue spot that’s worth the try. (petrol is cheaper there as compared to other pumps around and barbecue spot is a must try)

This is one and half hour drive from Dubai. Take Sharjah Khorfakan toad and enjoy a lot of tunnels on the way. Netter leave early from Dubai and try to reach by 6 there. Trial is nice, bit impacted the rains as signage is not like before. Its is distance of 2.78km and you gain altitude of 255 meters. Overall nice experience.

Its a beautiful place. In winter it is preferred to start hiking by 4:00 pm so that you can reach to the top around 5, and can enjoy the view of an amazing sunset.

I think this is the only easy and friendly hiking trail in UAE. Difficulty level to climb up the mountain is easy-average. Anybody can climb , broad walkways mostly and 2-3 shaded resting areas are there. Plan your hiking during sunrise or sunset. It takes approximately 50 mins of hiking from parking area. Our friends loved this hiking experience here. The views are romantic and stunning. ❤️ After you reach the 🚩flag point there is another track which leads to the peak of the mountain. Go with sufficient water and snacks. Don't litter waste.🙏🏽 வேற லெவல் அனுபவம்.

I just love this trail, when you get to the top you will see the beautiful view of Khorfakan, it’s so relaxing and the breeze during Dec-Feb is just lovely.

The mountain is a great place to visit. The trail is well made for hiking and it will be fun if you go in the evening or early morning.

👍👍 A hidden Beach but a Private space I believe. We hiked from the main road all the way till the end, about 30 mins or so in 2019. It turns out they have built a road till the end now. The sunrise from this beach is too good. We were asked to leave by some of the locals after sunrise. But we enjoyed t...
