Wadi Dahir (Wadi Sulfur) is located in Fujairah, not far from Dibba. Itโ€™s a moderate level family friendly hike with the attraction of some beautiful sulfur pools and caves. Itโ€™s an 8km loop trail winding through mountains, hills and valleys. It will take you about 4 to 5h to complete, taking time for photos and lunch. I personally loved this trail. You can park your car (Sedan accessible) about 150 meters just off the highway (literally!) (25.541830, 56.160513). I started the trail from the left side of the parking (you will see a farm on your right). It will take you to the wadi and very soon to the gorgeous water pools and there amazing colors. After the first km, the wadi is almost dry (in rainy season you can expect more water content). You can just walk for another 1km and come back if you are looking for an easy hike (total 4-5km), or proceed to do the full loop which will be 8+ km. The train is well marked with cairns and some arrow marks at some points. At 6.2 km, the wadi is going to the right side but you have to deviate from it and go straight up instead (25.555580, 56.156951). After walking about 700m, you pass a beautiful small lake formed by a dam with trees coming out of the water. Walk over the dam (25.553033, 56.159257) and go down. You will see some stairs. This road will lead you to the starting point. There are some sulfur pools also towards the end of the trail. Many people come by car at the bride point to take a picture (25.541830, 56.160513). All together it is a beautiful loop, and I would highly recommend it.

Great hiking route. Changing terrain Challenging parts of the journey add more adventure spirit . Total 3h and almost 9km loop. Wear proper hiking get, good shades, hat, water, snacks, take rest at any moment you like. Better to start earlier , to finish due or a bit later sunset, In the dark conditions- difficult to navigate the path, but in case-bring headlights. Pretty happy with this one ! Enjoy!

This is one of the most beautiful hiking tail in UAE. Length - 8.5 km Time Required - 4 to 5 hours Route Type - Loop Difficulty Level - Easy to Moderate. No doubt this one of the most beautiful hiking trail in UAE. You know why because you don't just see the mountains but also running water. The google pin correct. When you take exit, follow the route and you will reach to the parking lot. The trail is in loop. So can you go from right as well as left. Better you start from left (when you face mountain go to left). Because it is easy to find trail that way. As you go to left, you will find trail. It goes from the water ponds, you will find lots of running water. You may feel that it is dead end. But no, just go through the way from the wild grass and you will see the trail water will small small stone tower. Thanks to Fujairah Adventure who did this marking. Be careful as in way you will find a dip water pond. You need to cross that, and follow the small store tower markings. Go through the river bed. You will find breathtaking mountain views, water ponds, small fishes, frogs and water snakes also. Go on and you will reach the same parking lot again at the end.

One of the most beautiful hidden gems in Fujairah with water ponds, streams and aquatic life even in peak summer. Presence of sulphur in water giving differnt colour to water ponds and rocks which is makes it worth exploring. Trail start from left side of parking with moderate level and not very difficult path to walk along with kids. Easy access from the main road and ample parking space. Highly recommended for trekkers, photographer and nature lovers.

It is nice trail, however it is more challenging to complete the full loop after raining, many of the water loops will be full of water and it will be difficult to pass

What a stunning place! It is very rocky and a little bit challenging, but absolutely beautiful! There are so many rock pools to bathe in and admire. There is a dam in the middle and it's lovely. The mountains are spectacular! I highly recommend. The trail is marked with stone stacks. Very easy to spot and keep up with. I think at one point near the end we got a little bit confused, but we figured out the right way eventually. It was such an adventure!

It's one of my favourite walks in the UAE. I'm a walking guide and do this walk with clients regularly. At the moment, there isn't too much water as it's not had much rain recently, but once it has, it is 10ร— better and great for a quick dip in the pools in some sections. There is still so much flora and fauna in the wadi and beautiful place for some Instagram photos.

Very interesting hiking trail of around 10K from car park and back with the whole loop. We didnโ€™t even realize how fast the time passed because the terrain changes constantly and you have many interesting spots. Would not recommend for first timers. The terrain can get quite treacherous and without proper hiking shoes, you could slip easily. There is beautiful sulphur pools along the way at the start of the hike. The ascend is quite gradual and wonโ€™t even realize the gain in altitude. If you follow the stone piles and yellow arrows marking, you wonโ€™t get lost. Whenever you reach a fork in the road, just look out for these markings.lots of sunscreen and water is must. Definitely recommend it for a good outing with workout.

It's not an easy hike for Freshers . The month of Jan and Feb is ideal. Because it rained a week ago(2023) there were little ponds. The weather was great . Don't go alone, there are marks and leads however trekking with group is fun .
