Jaisamand island resort is one of the best options near Udaipur. If you are planning a vacation of less than a week, it is the right place. It starts with a joyous boat ride in the lake to reach the hotel, the exterior view of the hotel is marvelous and the view of the lake from the hotel is so peaceful. The rooms are super spacious and services are prompt. They have ample options in breakfast, lunch and dinner that you can order in the room or enjoy the buffet in the luxurious dining space. Food and beverages costs are above par but justified due to the isolated location between the lake. I visited with my wife and 3 month old daughter.

It’s very nice relaxing island place in Rajasthan. Landscape design is good. Rooms are very specious. Food quality and taste are super. Veg & NV available. Resort staff all members are very co operative, humble, honest. Wash room & wash basin facilities are not available in restaurants area.

Location - Ok so let me start with location, the resort is located at best location anybody has imagined , it is situated in middle of island at jaisamand lake. You can watch best views from your balcony, enjoy cold Breeze. Facilities - The hotel provides all facilities like swimming pool, private pool, villa, suites, restaurant, spa, bar, indoor games, boating, rowing, safari etc. Now lets start with pros Pros- 1.) The place is heaven for couples and newly married ppl coz it provides private time away from hustle bustle of city, quiteness. 2.) You can enjoy best of nature with good views of Lake. 3.) The food restaurant serves is good , staff is friendly and takes good care. 4.) Private pools are good. 5.) The rooms are quite spacious with all facilities, big flat tv. Good bathroom, big lake facing balcony. Completely satisfied with room. Cons- 1.) If you are coming with your family like with kids or friends there is not much to do except swimming, camel riding and boating. These things can be done in one day only. No need to stay more than one day. 2.) Food menu is quite costly and I would recommend you to take full package of breakfast, lunch and dinner. 3.) Food buffet in menu was of less variety according to costing. I have seen great variety of food in other hotels during buffet dinner. Like we were served with pav bhaji, aloo tamatar, kadhi , khichdi, matar paneer, dal, breads, ice cream, gulab jamun and soup. A good hotel with such high price already contain 3-4 starters , sizzlers, soups, Chinese items and much more to choose. So according to me don't expect much from restaurant if you're thinking to come here. 4.) The place is less maintained. The sockets were damaged. The telivision was not working. Some of the lights at night not working outside. 5.) During night there are mosquitos so you can't sit outside late for long. Conclusion - If you are couple you should definitely come here for private time. But with kids you can't have much to do except swimming. Don't expect much from restaurant menu. They really needs to improve from restaurant part cause when u are charging such high price you should give much more than that.

Location is fantastic. Service is good but they have to focus in maintenance. But worthy to visit when you see the natural beauty. Food is also good. But have limited option.

Boat experience is good, stay is not worth due to worst ever staff attitude. Most of the staff is very old and have major union issues that hotel management is not capable to handle. Getting is boat is extremely difficult and all boat way of handling you would rave you shocked. Rooms Is average and food is extremely poor. If you have a guest visiting you, hotel will charge 450 rupees per person and 1890 for rubbish dinner they serve. The hotel infrastructure needs maintenance, staff needs training, manager needs control. All they have is a good venue.

Wow this is one my favourite and memorable trip. Nothing to say about resorts, staff service, food and all. Bcoz all of these are exceptional. Too good👌 If you are planning to spend 2 to 3 days with peace and want to spend valuable time with luxury leaving experience surrounded by nature then this is perfect destination for you. And with not to expensive budget.

Really lovely place! It’s a resort/hotel and it’s also open for Lunch Buffett from 1-3pm. The cost of lunch includes the boat ride to the island, tour of the facility and lunch of course! Reservations recommended. Lunch buffet had traditional Rajasthani food, Dal Bati, churma, Chaas, Gatte, in addition to 4-5 other dishes. We were so so full from just one serving of the delicious food! Jaisamand is in itself is a must see beautiful place. And the island resort adds to it since the boat ride to the place takes you inside wire you can see the beautiful birds as well! Around there a short hike to Hawa mahal is worth the climb. All the food tasted amazing and the service was excellent. Highly recommend! I hope to visit it soon!

Food is excellent, near to home cooked but great taste and options. Do opt for complete package as you cant order food from anywhere else and La-carte will be expensive. Rooms are spacious, with balcony (especially rooms on 5th/6th floor). Old construction so bathrooms lack modernity. Biggest set back (reason for 2 star rating) is swimming pool. I enquired before going due to bad reviews and was told it is in pristine condition. Unfortunately, pool walls are filled with algae. Not at all safe for kids and adults who are not good at swimming since pool depth is 9ft in some areas. Overflow design is very old and filthy. Very poorly designed and ill maintained. Stay away from pool and rest is good. Dont plan for more than 2 days.

A good located, but poorly mainted property. Very bad experience. Anyone can not relax here. No doubt its location is very good. but the way it is mainted I would never recommand anyone to visit it. Phones were not working. In room due to rainy season insects were every where. Bed was smelly and not cleaned. Many amenities like jakuzi, indoor games were not in a working condition. Swimming pool was very bad, no cleaning. Many items mentioned on website is not available or they do not serve. A worst part of this resort is, if you have kid below 5 year then never visit it as they do not have doctor facility and the resort is located at remote location. In front of us one kid was having a bid trouble and there is was not even first aid facility there. I have given single star, because there is no option to give zero or negative ratings. Please see the photos for resorts cleanliness. Also the food was horrible and spicy. They do not know how to make food properly. Anyone can get better food than this resort at any roadside dhaba.

Had a very bad experience . Rooms were good but the pool was very dirty with frogs and spider etc in the water also there was moss on the pool walls . Food was ok but nothing special in it . Staff is very nice and cooperative. Also other things like gym , sauna and indoor games as told are in very bad condition . Over all experience was ok not great as expected and it is overpriced as there are no activities to do .

What do I tell about this resort! Unfortunately we had to leave in just 4 hours of our stay due to medical emergency, but the help that the staff gave us during thr crisis was impeccable. They had the boat ready for us to get to the shore, sent someone known with us to Salumber for us to show the way to the nearest hospital, made all the checkout arrangements while we were at the hospital so that we don't have to go back to the resort and did not charge us the remainder of the amount plus the sandwich which we had in the room. They were impeccable in their response for such a situation and we were very happy. Talking about the resort now, superb location, the man made lake is HUGE which feels like an ocean. The ferry takes nearly 15 minutes to get to the resort from the parking space, rooms are spacious and neatly maintened. Amenities are wonderful. Almost all rooms have superb views and the staff is extremely courteous. I wish we could stay longer and not sure if I would ever be able to go back here mentally, but it's worth the visit. Highly recommended. The last 30 Kms to the resort from Parsad is a horrible road. If you're coming from Udaipur, it's fine.

Disappointed by the maintenance of amenities. A very good property amidst nature but need to work upon the maintenance. Swimming pool had algae, frog floating around and garbage dumped in the drain. Changing rooms were dirty and no arrangements to hang or keep cloths. Food was of no match to a 3 star hotel. Most of the staff seemed uninterested and behaved dull. Play room items were not maintained either. Pool table was missing from play room. Payed 10,450/- for one-night which felt too overpriced due to poor maintenance. Overall, stay was OK that too because of location of resort only.

I visited here 2nd time. Location is nice. Best time to visit is monsoon. Food is average quality and during rush hour you have to wait long for some food items. Swimming pool is huge and fun. Other complimentary activities are camel ride and boat rides. the BEST part of the stay was Room service, it was very quick. All staff is very helpful. We enjoyed a lot.

I would say, the location was very good but over all it was an average stay. The plus point of the resort is it's location but at the same time it is a negative point as well. The resort is in the midst of the lake, you have to park the car and go by boat there which takes around 15 - 20 minutes; so once you are in the resort, to go out you have to travel back by boat which is a quite cumbersome, this boat facility is off after 7 pm unless emergency (this was informed to us). There is nothing around outside the resort to wander around. The quality of food was pretty average or even less than average. You must book with all meals into the package because anyway there is no other option around for food. I did not book with all meals so I had to go for ala carte, the staff kept on insisting for the same selection of food which was available in the package or else it will take a long time to cook, so you have a limited options. Buffet, if you have not booked within your booking, it will cost you 1500 to 1800 Rs per meal per person, TOO MUCH for the quality of food offered. A 40 Rs bottle of Pepsi cost us 250 Rs there!! Dishes were not very clean, if you mop with a tissue; there will be black staining on the tissue! Staff is not very professional. The place is in isolation, there is no much activity to do there. If you are in your 60s and 50s, and want isolation, its okay but for a younger generation it may turn our boring. Mobile network is a problem, their Wi-Fi was not reaching up to the room, even weak in reception area. Traveling to the Jaisamand, the last 20 - 25 km have a very bad road no matter from anywhere you are coming. Overall, I would say except for the location in the middle of the lake, rest things were average or below average, not worth if you are going during vacation time with the money they cost you during that period.

Location is the only positive factor. But resort maintenance is poor. You will find cob webs everywhere except bar area. Chef does not know how make tasty food. Room service is poor. Amenities are for name sake. For elderly with joint problems, this property is a nightmare. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

🤩 one of the best place to stay. We stayed at jaisamand Island resort for 2 nights to celebrate our 3rd anniversary and it was beautiful. The location is one of a kind and the rooms have lake views. We stayed in a suite room and it had all the luxury. It was so spacious with bathtub and swing. The gallary is huge and we sat there gazing at stars and lake for couple of hours. The service and staff was courteous and helpful. The property is located middle of the lake, the surrounding is calm and serene. The food was hygienic but can be improved a bit. Don't miss the boat ride during the sunset time. The sauna bath and jacuzzi was ice on the cake. Along with stay private boat to and fro from the resort gives you royal feel. Take a look at some amazing snaps.

The resort location and facilities might be good but they fail to provide a standard customer service which any hospitality venue would provide. Had to chase their employee - Mahipal Singh for days to get information about some resort activities but he would not care to respond to our queries. Considering the worst customer service experienced before our stay, we cancelled our booking for 3 nights and spend somewhere customers are valued. They should work on training their staff better or be out of business because of disappointments customers!

Everything is wonderful and perfect, however you won't be able to receive the same culinary taste as you would in Gujarat. For food, you must make certain compromises.

The serene views and peaceful ambiance provided a perfect escape from bustling city life. The natural beauty that surrounds your hotel is truly remarkable. I must commend your staff for their outstanding service throughout my stay. The room was immaculately clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated.

Quite disappointed on arrival... booked this place after reading reviews on Make My Trip... very average hotel... the hotel people don't even try and correct the location of this property on Google maps... on maps this property is shown at the back side, from where they don't pick up visitors... put as Jaisamand Jetty on Google maps if you want to reach to the correct location.

Jaisamand Island Resort offers a tranquil and enchanting experience in a picturesque setting. The accommodations are luxurious with traditional Rajasthani decor and stunning views. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring a memorable stay. The cuisine is delectable, and dining by the lake adds to the magical ambiance. The resort's amenities, including a pool and spa, provide relaxation and rejuvenation. The commitment to sustainability is commendable. Overall, Jaisamand Island Resort is a serene paradise perfect for those seeking natural beauty and tranquility. Highly recommended for a memorable retreat.

Everything about this resort is just great, only that the swimming pool was not clean. But I guess this is not the resort you go for a swimming pool, the main attraction in my opinion is to experience nature and peacefulness.

Stayed for one night and enjoyed a lot there. The amenities that they are offering are really good and enjoyable. The location of the property is in the middle of the lake and the atmosphere is really peaceful. The area of the property is huge. To explore the full area with enjoying the amenities needs a day. Early morning and the evening time you will love it. No pollution no vehicle sounds just a peaceful day with the sweet sound of birds. To spend time with family i am suggesting this place with experience. Night time you from the gallery you will see only darkness till the visible distance. Only dimmed lights at the resort.

the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and professional staff who ensured a smooth check-in process. The hotel offered spacious and comfortable rooms that were tastefully decorated. My room was well-maintained, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. The bed was cozy and provided a great night's sleep. Additionally, the room had modern technology features, including a flat-screen TV, fast Wi-Fi, and a well-equipped work desk. The hotel had a variety of dining options available. The breakfast buffet was extensive, offering a wide selection of delicious dishes to suit various dietary preferences. I also had a couple of meals at the hotel's restaurant, and the food was consistently of high quality, with attentive service.I would certainly recommend it to others. The comfortable accommodation, excellent facilities, attentive service, and convenient location made it a memorable experience. With a few minor improvements, this hotel has the potential to exceed expectations and provide an even more exceptional stay.

The location is best thing about this property . Its an island in the middle of a humungous lake (the largest man made lake in the world at one point). You can get to the property only by a boat so thats testimony of what a beautiful location. We stayed there from 8-10 April 2022 in Heritage suites. Suite are almost 20-25 years old. Renovation required for rooms as well as Bathrooms. Toiletaries given was not upto the mark they should have check quality. Swimming pool was not cleaned over all the property was not well maintained. Jaisamand as a property and rooms was designed with some vision however now it seems to be treated as a step hotel. It still has amazing facilities including a mind blowing spa, but the rooms and the maintenance has seen better days. Additionally, restaurant have very limited options. If you enjoy nature, exploring and walking around some beautiful ruins this place is definitely a must visit. Overall if you're not someone who fusses over the fanciness of the property and are fine as long as the property is nice a definite must visit, if you like your luxuries then best to give this a miss. They also have an amazing massage parlour and a must visit if you enjoy some indulgence PS: If you enjoy an occasional drink definitely check out the bar on the property, even though the drinks are overpriced, the decor and the service is quite decent. All staff are polite and supportive. The property is past its prime, the building needs renovation, the staff are a little seasoned and not as enthusiastic, and the facilities are quite run down in some parts. however the location is an absolute gold mine

The resort is located at a picturesque location. However, the rooms need to be maintained properly and perhaps need some renovation. The food quality is top notch. Surprisingly, the manager was discouraging us to use wifi in the rooms as he mentioned that the rooms are not equipped with wifi connection which clearly was not the case. The evening DJ is great fun. overall a mixed experience for me during my 2 day stay here

Jaisamand island resort as the name suggests it is located on an island in the jaisamand lake. You're taken to and fro via a boat ( which is quite slow actually). Coming to the place. The place has nothing to offer other than the view which is fantastic..giving you the feeling of staying right in the middle of lake surrounded by water from all sides. We booked a villa which was quite spacious and had a great view but the villa or the property was not maintained at all as if the owners are relying just on the view to earn money!! The moment you enter the room/ villa you feel cheated as they are not upto the mark..some feel like they havent been cleaned enough. The food was not good and tasteless to be precise. The staff is okay but not quite professionals. Overall i felt you can go there once for the view rest this place has nothing to offer at the prices you pay to go there.

Overall enjoyed the stay. Staff is very supportive and quick.

Visited jaisamand island resort last week with family. It was in the bucket list from long. Great location of resort, amazing resort. Boat ride to resort was fun. Rooms were quite huge with great view of lake.. you can go for early morning or evening walk to explore the property. Food was delicious, though options were less. Only disappointment was weather. Max temperature was 42 during our visit. Please check weather before going. This resort must be fun in monsoon or winter. You can go for HAWA MAHAL and RUTHI RANI KA MAHAL which are nearby heritage places.

Great place to chill. Everything about it will give you a reason to visit again. The lake, the ambience, the hospitality everything is just too good. We stayed here for one night, it was very special because it was our first trip after marriage! The location is just awesome, and to reach the resorts they do have their own ferry ⛴️, which gives you another experience of lake boating in word's 2nd largest artificial lake We booked one villa which has the sun set view. Room were clean , hygienic with outdoor balcony, and semi private pool. It's heavenly experience, if it does not make you calm and happy I don't know what other can do it

Hotel is surrounded with Jaismand lake which is asias largest manmade lake. View was superb. 5* for location. Service and hospitality of hotel was very good. Food was nice , tasty. You can park your vehicle at there parking lot and there person help you to escort to boat and drop you to the hotel. Plenty of day activities already included in your hotel stay like camel ride , Jacuzzis, row boat. We had booked suite room which was neat and clean. Lake view is there from all rooms. Swimming pool was also clean and maintained. They have indoor outdoor games , rooftop garden, spa. Lot of things are there. Easily van spend a day or 2 here.

This is one of the worst experience I’ve had. Property is beautiful but not well maintained. The hospitality is the bottom most experience. Food is tasteless. Variety is zero. You can bring your own food and enjoy the property, the food here is not worth eating.
