I'm writing this after spending 4 years here (IT Engineering), so you may want to read this seriously before you make an important decision. Really poor management! Especially when it comes to IT department. Sometimes I do feel like they only care about is fees and their reputation , not about students and their career. I would suggest anyone who is planning to take admission that, do your own due diligence before signing up for 4 years when you would have no control over your life! No extra curricular activities, no sports at all, average construction, dirty classrooms, broken benches, always power issues, super unhygienic washrooms! They only care about fees , when you ask department for any kind of help, first question they would ask is to show your fees receipt. In other words , If you have not paid fees , they won't help you, as simple as that. Time management is poor, almost no professor would show up on time for lecture, they just don't respect students time. It is totally understandable if a professor is late someday sometime, but if that is always, that definitely means something else. The only time deadline they follow strictly is the fees payment deadline, not lectures. No kidding. If I were to do my B.Tech again from scratch, I would not select DDU.

Infrastructure is good. Teachers can be irritating sometimes. Well facilitated. Way more exams compared to other colleges. Canteen is okay.

Been part of DDU since 2017, and it's roller coaster ride, infinite baggage of memories, a part of me lives here, now in the final year of my masters. - A proud DDUian 🌟

I have completed my bachelor's here , fortunately in 4 years and believe me my experience is bizzare in these 4 years , so you must read this before making your decision. To be honest ,  poor management from in every section and department . Only thing they want is we pay our fees before the due date.  I would suggest everyoneone who is planning to take admission here first do your research , you can't revert your decision once you opt this , it will similar as jumping in a well without knowing how to swim. No extra curricular activities , no sports events , they don't even have space for playing area. All they want us to do is we  give exams every month and give good  reviews to faculties at the end of the semester. Members in admin department are extremely lazy , won't do their job on time. It fascinates me that I guess they take lunch break more often than SBI Bank's employees. Also , when you need extra certificates you have to pay them , and if you are in hurry they will charge you double by naming it urgent receipt. They should go for this motto , "making money no matter what is the situation". Time management is poor , when we need the assistant / management  person the most , they won't  show up on time , they successfully waste 3-4 hours  of student. Even for some professor , winning in a argument is more necessary than helping student , if they want to help you they will otherwise they pretend like they have no free time , but the fact is they just gossip with eachother most of the time.

In this university extra curricular activities are zero that is only one annual function only. Here, in engineering they take three internal exam and one external exam in single sem so you don't get time to do other things . They(professors) only think of how to complete syllabus and have exam . Overall if you want same boring and want to study only come here , if you want extra curricular activities this place is not for you. Thank you 🙏👋 .

Dharmsinh Desai Institute of Technology was founded in 1968 by Dharmsinh Desai, who then was a member of Parliament, as an institution of higher learning in the field of Engineering and Technology. It achieved autonomous status under Gujarat University in 1991, and Deemed University status in June 2000. In 2005 the institute achieved full university status and was renamed Dharmsinh Desai University. The university initiated a bachelor's course in Dental Surgery in 2005, while the Faculty of Pharmacy was established at the University in 2006. It is the first university in Gujarat to obtain the permission to start Nanotechnology courses in 2012. The university was granted the permission by Medical Council of India, to start new Medical college from the academic year 2019–20.

I know this university rated high in Gujarat. It's the third best state college after DAIICT and Nirma. But this university is only best when you are taking admission in Computer Engineering branch. Otherwise it's a below average college. In my branch there were no teachers who could even teach. One teacher was just speaking which was on PPT. I survived college with only Youtube. Please don't even think of going to this University except you are getting Computer branch. It's a really bad college. Here 4 years are equals to 40 years of torture. Even my school was better than this

Best place to gain knowledge as the nature is very quiet and or you can say it is very cooperative to gain more knowledge. Calm and easy surroundings. Joyful place. If you want to learn about engineering then this college is one of the best place to pursue engineering and technology. This college also gives on campus placement to almost all final year students. So if you are thinking to do engineering and your 12th merit marks are good then you can choose this institute definitely. I personally had been here for a placement drive. I am not studying in this institute. I am studying in L. D. COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, AHMEDABAD. Talking about the infrastructure, you can see it in below photos which I have shared. Friendly infrastructure.

One of the finest Universities in the middle Gujarat region. The University runs all the important programs like Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Engineering, Management, etc. The main plus point about this University is, unlike other Universities, this University is in the middle of the town as well as the most creme area of Nadiad i.e. college road. A number of private hostels and PGs for boys and girls are also available. The main USP of this University is, convocation date is always fix i.e. 9th May of each year. Students of this University are getting a degree certificate first among all the Universities. Placements, job opportunities, faculty support and liberality are the important aspects of this institute.

Studying at DDIT feels good as you are in most spectacular environment. Where DDIT stands for discipline. Rules and regulations are strictly followed in thw institute though management sometimes makes mistake but...overall real hardship and struggle of corporate can be experienced by students. Respect, manners and modesty are foundation steps of this institute. Being a student i am proud of myself.

Good for studying. Classroom are large enough so that students can be comfortable. Faculties are supportive and making the topic very easy for students to understand.
