Wonderful stop over in Colesburg. Great quality food and in store gifts. Genuine leather handbags for ladies as well as leather travel and toiletry bags too. There is a deli with quality fresh meats and even venison pies that one can take home and bake. The food is excellent and the staff are super friendly. Food is fresh and made to order if you decide to stay for a sit down meal. They also stock beautiful sheep skin best time slippers which is going to be perfect for winter. Wonderful experience and top quality food and service.

Just compliments to this great farmstall, butchery, and coffee shop. The shop is fully stocked with great gifts , frozen karoo meat, biscuits, etc. The coffee shop has great cake, food, and coffee. Ample seating , inside and outside. Grass area outside where our puppy could stretch her legs. Highly recommended.

Plenty of items to buy and very cozy area to have some coffee. The lit the fireplace which was fantastic to sit by on the couches whilst we had our coffee. The variety of food is good and the meat selection was great. I got the peppermint crisp dessert but it wasn't the best, could be improved. Lovely stop to get groceries and momentos.

Nice place, good food, nice things to buy and also the meat looks like it is of very high quality. Felt some things are a little over priced, but overall a very nice shop. Normally stop there when passing through Colesberg

Great stop-over! We enjoy everything about it. The food is good and the atmosphere is welcoming! Also, the lamb is well-priced and definitely worth buying.

Great place to stop for a coffee/bathroom break. Didn't have anything to eat, but their hot chocolate was terrible. I had a white hot chocolate, but it was very lumpy. No matter how much I stirred, I could not get rid of the lumps. The bathroom didn't have toilet paper when I visited. The shop seemed nice. The staff are friendly

Delicious coffee, friendly staff, good service, decent selection of home made, farm stall food, treats and gifts. We would have liked to taste the different coffees but they only serve their house blend. We used a location pin to find Chargo but when we arrived we couldn’t see it. All the trucks parked at the truck stop area in front of Chargo, obscures the view.

If you looking for a decent and souvenir ‘pit stop’, you definitely need to stop for coffee and have a meal at Chargo Farm Stall in Colesberg. You will also be able to get some wonderful mementos for yourself, your loves ones or a gift for someone. Awesome part, the staff is very friendly and welcoming! If you are in the Colesberg area, I’ll recommend that you give them a visit and get your souvenir!😌

A pleasant unplanned stop! Stopped for a quick stretch, coffee and snacks. We bought coffees, hot chocolate, biltong, droewors and 'wiele' - you get value for your money!! A clean setup with a wide selection of gifts, homebaked rusks & cookies, jams and meat, without making the space feel crowded. With the next trip we will definitely stop for lunch. (would recommend more bathrooms though)

What a welcoming experience. Stunning and friendly staff, warm and welcoming. Clean set-up and fresh delicious food and coffee, definitely a little place to stop, let alone the stall with fresh meat, biltong and conformable seating.

Great place to stop by and get a coffee or even a little breakfast. Has amazing tasting coffee. There is also a cute little shop inside with amazing stuff. It has a great view of gorgeous mountains and you can sit with a pet outside.

I am sad to say that we were so disappointed with the quality of what we ordered today. The 5 dry overcooked nuggets without any chips or sauce is really not what I expect for R35 from such a beautiful place. Sorry to say that we will not be able to recommend a stop to any traveller's who is looking for a meal ot something to eat.

Best Coffee and service. Clean and different. Delicious peppermint crisp desert/tart. Meat for sale looks fresh and the prices very good.

Friends highly recommend we stop here and its an ok farm stall with what seems like nice cuts of meat. They also have other hand crafted items, like wood works, leathers satchels, and sheep fur skin blankets for babies. Theres all kinds of snacks, a coffee brand, biltong and roosterkoek available at the stall. The preserves aka jams is just the Ina Bessing jams you pretty much see everywhere and my experience is overly sweet/sugary product. We bought some koeksisters, roosterkoek and chicken nuggets as a take away. They pretty much turned the nuggets into charcoal and I couldn't give that to my daughter. My roosterkoek felt like it was just mince on it with overripe tomatoes instead of a burger. My wife's roosterkoek was a pulled lamb roosterkoek which tasted great with the additional benefit of bones in the meat. This took quite some time to prepare and to say the least, we weren't impressed. The biltong was bland. It needs way more seasoning. You can taste the brown vinegar it was cured in, but felt like they forgot the salt and spices. The koeksisters were luckily amazing. Apart from the aforementioned, it's very neat and clean farm stall. Perhaps we just had bad luck.
