The Cheese, Ham, Spring Onion and Basil toastie was delicious, and my bf really enjoyed his fish and chips. Service was friendly and place was nicely decorated

Good food, great décor and nice touches such as water on the table. It's not a fast food restaurant so be prepared to wait. I'll definitely be back!

Schöne lokation in colesberg vor allem zum frühstücken oder Kaffee und Kuchen. Wir haben hier morgen früh um 8:00 angehalten auf den Weg nach Pretoria. Zimmer Service, Frühstück lecker. Cappuccino war ok etwa zu schwach. Sonst sehr zu empfehlen. Der Laden ist ein Sammler u Jäger.

I am not surprised why it is top rated. An unassuming place that has the tastiest of breakfast, had a waffle sandwich, I would say the best I have tasted. The decor takes you back,the cakes on display and the melodies in the background provide a great atmosphere. Service is great and prices highly affordable

One of the best meals of our entire road trip (granola tartlet & pancake omelette) ! Very tasty, extremely well presented and well worth the stopover. Service was prompt and professional. Interesting store to browse around.

Lovely gem of a place. Mutton pie and milkshakes were delicious. Vetkoek burger was a disappointment.

A special spot for breakfast. Their food was divine. I had the filled croissant and it was fresh and delicious. Their food is flavourful and their coffee is good. My only regret is not ordering the baked cheesecake because I was eyeing it the whole time, don't make the same mistake as me! Was surprised to see how many different things they sell throughout the premises. I liked the vast array and tried not to have my wife look too long otherwise we'd be leaving with everything!

We ate the lamb pie and breakfast croissant- the lamb pie was delicious and I can definitely recommend it! The breakfast croissant's egg and bacon was cold. The atmosphere is great and the gift shop has some great rustic gifts!

Heard about this place and made it a must. Beautiful interior. Big variety of cakes to choose from. The takeaway hot drink were little bit smaller than expected but Still tasted marvelous. Previously loved books are available to buy that is still in a good condition. If you like old stuff you will appreciate the old tins. Super pretty and all in good to semi-good condition. There are even indoor plants if you are looking to "green" your house. Would definitely recommend.

A nice stop on your way to CPT. A lovely environment to sit on a veranda and enjoy Karoo life. There are things you can buy like books and second hand artifacts. Long tables available for bigger groups too

Cutest little place. The food was delicious. Definitely has a character. The only thing that could have made the experience better is if the fire in the fireplace was lit on this cold morning.

The food was very nice but not the service and drinks. Looked as if the waitress didn't want to serve us. She was busy chatting with the other waiters who work there. My husband asked for a steak knife to cut his food, she came back and said they don't have any sharp knifes and brought him a big bread knife. Really?? He wasn't planning to slaughter a pig. The tea was cold, and when we were almost done eating she came to check up on us once. Will definitely not be going back very soon.

Travelled into Colesberg from Philippolis on a Sunday for lunch and found this lovely gem tucked in right next to the OK foodstore! Friendly and hospitable waitress had me seated in a beautiful indoor tabled area with a steaming cappuccino served in 5 minutes flat. Karoo lamb pie and green salad beautifully presented,perfectly flavoured and well priced. Felt safe, spoiled and very welcome. Shall return!
