The rooms are great just that the network is very bad. Prepare to stay at the top floor or you’d have a lot of network issues. They said they’re are working on the MTN Satellite. The customer service was great. I almost didn’t lift a finger because the staff members were very helpful. The location is on the outskirts so it might take a while to get there from the main town but it’s like 15 minutes drive and it’s popular so the riders know it.

Golden Olives resort is located along winners way opposite (ASEPA) Abia State environmental protection agency, it's A good place to lodge, serene environment with nice meals but meals don't come quickly. The rooms are colourful and spacious the car lots are okay with a luxurious arena .

Classy, serene. Rooms are comfortable and spacious . No-nonsense 24hr electricity supply. Food is good though a bit pricey, but that's quickly forgotten when you start eating.

An average hotel with pleasant staff. The room finishes are tacky and half of the rooms have no ventilation!....their windows open into a hall! Privacy is thus compromised. You can even hop into the hall from your windows or somebody can do the reverse. Service is nether here nor there. If you must stay here, choose a room with outside opening window. This will afford you more privacy and the opportunity of getting fresh air also remember to make any request from the reception well ahead of time!

Golden Olives is a hotel on Winners Road in Umuahia, Abia State. Nice building and well appointed rooms.. Prices are above average but not too bad. I stayed for one night. Room was comfortable. Only snag for me was the bar didn't have the most basic soft drinks and my choice on the food menu was also unavailable.. guess I came on the wrong day, lol... All in all. I would recommend this hotel

Golden Olive Hotel Umuahia is the worst hotel people should not go to. They seized my money. Kept on turning me around. Their service is zero. The manager promised to refund our unused deposit for a service we did not use and has failed. Not picking call. It's fraudulent set up. They don't deserve one star. My worst experience on my trip to Umuahia

Had a terrible experience, the service was dreary and almost nonexistent, My room a/c didny work and after complaining for days nothing was done, I was even looked at like a troublemaker for mentioning it, the food is overpriced for the quality and it's far from town.

If there’s a 0 star they’ll get it. Poor experience includes AC not working because they use small generator, no cup in room, no complimentary water, no electric kettle, complimentary breakfast is always and only bread and stew, reuse of old sheet for new guest ( if you’re not sharp you won’t notice) and poor customer service, not to talk of mosquito bite at night.

The hotel is big and was neat. The staff were quite courteous and nice, although the front desk officer was initially very clueless and delayed our check-in process. Overall, it was a good hotel to stay in.......and yes, there was complementary breakfast 😊

Nice place. Quite and good for undisturbed work or relaxation. They have a Jim for your body fitness. Nice reception people and the food is good too.

The food portion was good, I liked the large bathroom, there were power interruptions but the outage never lasted up to a minute.

First off, the hotel has a very serene environment situated not too far from the new government house. Beautiful flowers around the compound with near nature experience. That said, the room that I stayed in lacked everything entertaining. I have to manually change the channel by using the buttons on the TV. The air conditioner has no remote control so I had to use the switch by the bedside to turn off when cold and back on when hot. There is no complimentary tea in the room should you need it. Nothing but soap bar was provided in terms of supplies. No internet as well. For a hotel of that standard, I expected more. I will like to state that they have lovely staff and room service.

Is a very nice hotel. But I must say this, those brown suede like chairs inside the rooms gotta go. As a customer that has been lodging there for a little over 3 years now, those chairs needs to be replaced. They Kinda not only looking old but not cleaned. For customers safety, they should instal window Protectors for upstairs rooms. In general i think is an OK hotel in umuahia. One thing about Nigeria is they can build and have taste for good things but maintenance is their problem. Maintaining this hotel and with proper management will ensure its longevity otherwise it will crumble like many other hotels or just about everything in nigeria. Before you know it, the entire place will start attracting roaches and rodents. But for now I give this hotel a thumbs up.
