*Apologies
for
the
long
review*
There
are
many
places
you
can
visit
in
Bali.
Those
notable
are
Seminyak,
Kuta
and
even
Ubud.
In
those
places
there
are
many
good
eateries,
but
then
there
are
those
off
the
beaten
path
that
get
unnoticed.
It
may
due
to
its
location
or
even
the
fact
that
it
isn't
popular
enough
and
isn't
a
chain
restaurant.
I
present
to
you
a
diamond
in
the
rough
Happy
Cow,
in
Jimbaran.
You
will
find
the
drive
on
the
way
very
off
the
grid,
with
dirt
roads
along
the
way.
It
will
feel
almost
like
you
are
a
local
with
the
atmosphere
around
the
roads.
We
arrived
around
6:30pm
with
a
smile
and
passionate
welcome
by
the
waitress
who
showed
us
to
our
table
on
the
rooftop
of
the
house.
The
whole
place
is
very
homey
with
a
cozy
feel
to
it
as
pots
of
plants
are
decorating
the
building.
We
ordered
the
Wagyu
Rice
Saikoro
that
was
decorated
with
a
special
sauce
and
Chicken
Steak
with
a
brown
almost
peppercorn
sauce
and
roasted
potatoes,
both
served
with
a
side
of
lettuce.
The
food
was
amazing,
tender
chicken
with
a
subtle
grill
flavour
that
was
complimented
by
the
sauce
so
well,
the
roasted
potatoes
that
were
soft
and
the
wagyu
rice
saikoro,
melt
in
your
mouth
slices
that
went
well
with
the
soft
rice
and
delectable
lettuce
and
the
dressing.
We
were
the
only
customers
at
the
time
or
at
least
the
first
for
the
night
from
the
looks
of
it
and
were
gifted
a
free
mushroom
soup
with
garlic
bread.
The
taste
was
amazing,
nothing
to
overpowering
or
too
artificially
flavoured.
A
subtle
true
mushroom
taste
that
was
addicting
to
the
spoonful
dressed
in
splash
of
truffle
oil
and
with
the
side
of
the
garlic
bread
it
was
the
perfect
pair.
The
whole
experience
is
really
like
none
other,
it
makes
you
feel
like
you
have
a
personal
chef
as
you
create
conversations
with
the
chef
and
the
waitress.
The
utter
kindness
is
none
other
like
you
will
receive
from
any
other
place,
they
ensure
you
are
comfortable
and
will
try
their
best
to
accomodate
your
needs.
They
are
humble
and
kind
and
for
my
fellow
travellers,
their
english
is
very
clear
and
concise.
I
only
wish
the
best
for
this
family
and
the
restaurant
and
truly
believe
you
should
give
this
restaurant
a
try
on
your
to
do
list.
