    I visited Liberty auto body shop in June paying hard earned money for an engine and transmission and was told it will be available in 2 weeks and to my surprise 5 weeks later i haven't received nothing but a bunch lies from the entire staff including the managers. The most frustrating part about this entire ordeal they had me come back numerous times hanging on their broken promises. On one of my visits Eli the clerk at the front desk put me on a call with John the manager, John over the phone stated to me his staff wasn't capable of handling the shop issues, and he apologized for the inconvenience but told me if the parts does not arrive by Wednesday July 12 he will give me a refund, already beyond frustrated i decided to still give John the opportunity to make things right. Two days later i returned to the auto shop still no parts i spoke with Eli once again and asked for my refund back like John promised. However, Eli explained the managers were out the office. No matter the hour of my arrival those managers Patrick J. McGurk and John (they refused to give John full name) was never on duty to assist with my issue. At this time Eli reached out to Patrick via phone because John wasn't available . After numerous calls to Patrick, Patrick told Eli to have me wait that he was on his way. Patrick had me wait for four hours at the auto shop and was a No Show. I had Eli call Patrick back to explain himself and what Patrick made clear during that call was he didn't have time and he wasn't giving me my money back AND I just needed to come back the following day to check if the parts arrived. Could you Imagine the manager having you wait for 4 hours with no solution. I even asked for a receipt stating the ETA of the parts instead they called the cops to escort me out because they needed to close. Once the cops arrived to my surprise the officers went straight after the staff demanding the owners and staff stop ripping people off because they are tired of the constant calls from people complaining about this business. So if you want to be scammed and get hostile customer service this is the place.

    On January 27th 2023 I went to this place to order parts for my 2004 Toyota Camry, they didn’t have the parts at that time so they said that they can get it but that I won’t get the parts until Monday, so I said ok leaving a down payment, Monday comes that I go down there to pickup my parts an im being told that the guy Eli that took my order was fired so am saying to them what do I have to do with him being fired, so im a bit confused because now the guy that I came to find out trough a review that his name is Richie, so Richie said ok get him the parts mind you the parts that I bought was supposed to be new, so he comes out with a bumper that was not new, then he comes with a used fogged up head light so now im furious asking for my money back, so I had to call the police, I wasn’t able to meet up with the police because i was feeling so upset that I left to go eat so I received a call from the police telling me to patient, a hour later I called an they tell me to come pickup my parts sure enough my bumper was new my head light was new an now I’m waiting for my hood never again bad COSTOMER service!!!

    I had to give one star because there was no option for less. These guys are thieves. They will steal your money. Deposit or core. No one working in front appears to be sober. Either they are drunk or high. There is absolutely no respect towards customers or workers I don’t even understand how they could still be in business. I’m filing a lawsuit against them. They refused to return my core deposit back. Every time I go there I got the same answer—that the boss John is not there. Now if anyone else had the same issue please contact me— we can file a class action lawsuit. For now stay a mile away from these scammers.

    Highly not recommended only interested to grab money for the order but they give very hard time to give parts they have lot of excuses to make you satisfied I see everything while I was standing there for 3 hours. So be carefully order if you don’t have any other option left and pray you got same what you want. There policy not to return money only credit for 7 days after 7 days it expire so Good luck. While standing there they return 6 to 7 customers with different excuses not the part they ordered. I hope excuse fits instead of part.

    RUN if you see this Business (LIBERTY AUTO PARTS) at 150-05 Liberty Avenue (QUEENS). I ordered a BLACK door for my car on OCT. 16 I paid half on my Card a guy name Richie (Fast talker, definitely doing hard Drugs) promised me the door the next day. I showed up to pay my balance and John (owner) said, that I can't pay by Card that day because he is only accepting Cash. I was confused. I reluctantly went across the street and withdrew $450.00. I returned, paid 'em and Richie brought out a GRAY door, I said hold up, I ordered a BLACK door, then they (John and Richie) said that they thought I said that I didn't mind the GRAY door because I told 'em that I was going to get it painted, which was a LIE. After that Richie kept promising me the door and everytime I would call he would give me another excuse as to why he doesn't have my door. At one point he began not answering the phone because my name and number were displayed when I would call LIBERTY. It's now late OCT. and RICHIE promised me a refund if he doesn't have my door in a few days. On OCT. 25 he said my door is on the truck from Upstate and to come by the store and wait. I got there around 5:30pm and I waited until 8:00pm, the truck pulled in and guess what, NO DOOR. He apologized and promised me the door tomorrow (OCT. 26). I came by and guess what, NO DOOR.. I stated I wanted my money back and RICHIE kept stalling. He gave me John's number (Owner) and the LIES continued. John gave me his number and he also began lying and not taking my calls. It's now NOV. 24 (38 DAYS after I paid JOHN ( in Full) and I still don't have my door. I finally got my door on NOV. 27. I reported Liberty Auto Parts to the BBB and word of advice, if you're looking for a car part, DON'T go to LIBERTY AUTO PARTS, they ( JOHN and RICHIE) are LIARS and THIEVES. They will take your money and promise you aka LIE to you. . Remember the business (LIBERTY AUTO PARTS 150-05 Liberty Avenue, Queens, NY) and the players are ( JOHN and RICHIE). RUN folks, RUN.

    This business is a scam . The owner name is John and his cousin “Richie” is suppose to be the top salesmen . John will never contacts any of the customers about bad business concerns . Please do not put any money into this business . They sale defective and damaged parts . Eli is a useless counter guy that puts you on hold for long hours. The people in this business lack major professionalism and are scammers . Please believe the reviews . I am a customer that witness the business scamming for $3500.

    All the guys working there were very helpful in getting me the right part for my car. I needed an ABS module, buying it from the dealership would’ve been close to $1k, but they gave me a great deal and the part was given to me within just a few days. Now it’s been almost 2 months of me driving with my replaced part and no issues. Thanks so much!

    I ordered an engine for an Audi Q5 November 6th 2023 from Richie. I informed him numerous of times that the engine was defective and he could either refund me or send me a replacement engine . I have phone records of out going calls from November 10th trying to come to a medium about this purchase. The staff answers the phone and then leave me on hold for long periods of time. I have been requesting to speak to a higher authority since November 14th which has never happened. The staff has told me multiple stories about the manager being fired because he comes to work drunk . I requested to speak to the owner of the business that supposedly comes in at 1 pm or 4pm everyday. This is not a professional business. I will be reporting this transaction to my bank as well as BBB. Please refrain from order any items from this business. Manager or Belmont Motor Works Asia
