Unfortunately, we were discriminated at this place when we wanted to tour a unit. We weren't even able to see the place because, supposedly, the only unit left was too expensive for us, which was weird considering there was conflicting information online. I told my coworker about it and he did me a favor and pretended to be interested in the place. There we found out we were lied to several times. Not only was the unit in our price range, there were also multiple units available. Disappointing but after going through some of these reviews, maybe we dodged a bullet.

Not convenient at all... Parking the worst, have to walk a block to laundry in another building and to fill your card go to another building 2 blocks down, trying to get to work in the morning you have to wait 5 minutes for traffic to pass, quite desolate at night because of railroad and being surrounded by parking fields and department stores. Didn't have any bugs but my 1st day a dead water bug was in my dining area light fixture... and the day before I left there was a dead water bug in my hallway fixture by the bathroom... Think it was telling me something? The renting staff drove me nuts we had several issues when I decided to move. They are not the friendliest and they all had something different to say about standards and rules about moving. So glad its over.

a little over a year ago I applied for the apartments , I didnā€™t have a great experience, so I seen they had an apartment available for rent at 1800-1900 in that range, I decided to give it another chance . I went online and booked for a tour I got to the apartment complex & I walked all over because I could not find the leasing office, when I called no one picked up the phone so I was to find it on my own When I found the leasing office, the older woman did not allow me inside she asked me questions from behind a half closed door , I told her I had an appointment They ā€œcanceledā€ my appointment and said I read the message that came from them . I rebooked the appointment , I didnā€™t want issues. Then I explained to her my situation from last time. She claimed my application was not approved because I donā€™t make enough money. I said that amount has changed and I told her a number she told me I still donā€™t make enough This entire conversation happened in the hallway where neighbors could hear It gave off (your black and I donā€™t want you to live here) Very unfortunate being a college grade with phenomenal credentials to be treated as such

Management strung me along for 3 weeks going back and forth about documentation needed to send my application to corporate, told them in advance I had to be out by August 1st. I sent them all the documents they required but they continuously found something else that they ā€œneededā€ that I would have to run around crazy to get. Went and saw the apartment they told me my children werenā€™t allowed to play in one of the many courtyards they have, mind you thereā€™s seating and waterfalls. They also told me there was no grilling on the property, meanwhile they have 2 custom stone grills built in the public areas and several different fire pits. Anyways it turns out before they even had all the documentation they ā€œrequiredā€ someone forwarded my incomplete application to corporate and I wasnā€™t approved because I donā€™t make enough money. Really interesting to find out 150k isnā€™t enough money for these people considering I know a family that just moved in and makes less than I do but was approved and needed less documentation than I. Something about these fools is extremely shady, donā€™t waste your time. I spent 350$ getting vaccinations my vet said my dog didnā€™t need but these people required. Look elsewhere these people are crooks.

I loved living here. I lived in a newly renovated one bedroom apartment with a den for almost three years. The rent price is average for what you can get in Nassau County. Average rent increase was $30-60 per year. Galley kitchen area with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher (refrigerator couldn't open fully without hitting into the other side). Doesn't work well if two people want to cook together. Decent kitchen cabinet space, but fills up quickly. The den can be used as an office or small child's bedroom. (I would have gladly sacrificed the den if I could have had a bigger kitchen!) Very safe and quiet. Laundry on premises but not in unit. Parking allowed for one car, but visitor/overflow parking available on premises. Any heavy rain causes flooding in tenant parking. Knowing that if something went wrong that someone was able to come within 24 hours to fix any problems was really comforting, although I only had a small handful of minor issues the entire time I was there. I never had a roach issue like the other reviews mentioned. Denise is amazing! I had an extremely positive experience here. I'm very impressed with the Eagle Rock company.

We stayed at Eagle Rock in Mineola for a little under a year, while our house was under construction. Overall, we were very pleased with the experience. We felt home, and the staff made us feel welcome. Linda at the office was very accommodating, and the maintenance crew was very responsive. Oscar fixed things promptly and neatly. One thing that could use an improvement was the laundry area, where machines were out of repair often, but overall no big deal. In the warmer spring weather, there were some ants coming in from the outside, but that was taken care of promptly. There were no cockroaches as some reviews note, but occasional water bugs (which look a bit like big roaches) in the laundry area. Again, that was no big deal and taken care of right. Any complaint or issue was addressed promptly. There were many life-long residents there, and we made some good friends with quite a few. They have ample parking. No problem with deliveries, either packages or food. Located in a very safe neighborhood and close to everything, including huge Stop and Shop, Roosevelt Field Mall, stores, and many nice restaurants. Iā€™d definitely recommend this Eagle Rock location to anyone looking short- or long-term living.

A few facts to think about: ā€¢ Fact: Heavy roach infestation problem. ā€¢ Fact: Absolutely no soundproofing in the walls and floors. You hear everything in the neighboring apartments. ā€¢ Fact: The number of washers and dryers in the not-so well-cleaned laundry rooms are highly inadequate for the number of tenants living here. Be prepared to play musical laundry rooms in order to get 1 load done. ā€¢ Fact: Very few tenants clean up after their dogs ā€” and management does nothing about it. ā€¢ Fact: Accepts Section 8 ā€” and all the ā€œbenefitsā€ that go along with it. ā€¢ If you are interested in reading other REAL REVIEWS, go to YELP.

When I was living there, I had to deal with the things mentioned on this board, like roaches (BIG ONES), noises from neighboring apartmentsā€¦even low-level talking can be heard. I often had to do my laundry elsewhere due to the lack of machines. A good number of times I came out to about 8 ā€“ 10 inches of water around the car. I had to run back to get my boots! Thank goodness it didnā€™t leak into the car! There were many dog walkers that didnā€™t clean it up. An older gentleman did tip me off about Section 8 being accepted thereā€¦WHICH FILLED ME WITH DREAD! RENTER BEWARE!

I lived here for three years and only moved to be closer to my job. The apartment complex is safe and clean. The walls can be thin, but I lived in a quiet building with great neighbors and wasnā€™t too disturbed by noise. Denise is beyond wonderful. She knows everyoneā€™s name and goes out of her way to make everyone feel at home. The few times I needed to place a maintenance request, things were followed up with immediately. I always felt like management was on my side and truly cared about my quality of living. Other reviews mention cockroach infestations, but I didnā€™t see one in the three years I lived here and never ever had a problem with bugs or needed an exterminator. The location is great too - near the mall, near Garden City, and near the train station. There is so much to do nearby. I had a great experience overall.

Just moved in here a couple of weeks ago. We needed the apartment quickly, and Linda at the leasing office was extremely helpful in every step of the process. She was very responsive, and responded to our emails even on her holidays, and worked with her corporate office to expedite and to ensure things go smoothly. Also, we had a few maintenance items, and they were all taken care of very quickly by Oscar and Denis. I found everyone in the staff to be friendly and tried to help. So far, our experience has been positive.

Was in dire straights to find a new apartment and the team at the Mineola location (Linda and Toni) were so accommodating and understanding of my situation. They went far beyond expectations to communicate and help me out when I needed it most.
