5/5 Shadow Tiger (. 1 year ago on Google
I
wasn't
expecting
to
like
this
place
nearly
as
much
as
I
did.
My
group
and
I
had
just
been
horribly
let
down
by
a
planned
sushi-related
excursion
so
were
already
in
a
foul
mood
when
we
found
this
place.
It's
a
hole-in-the-wall,
and
the
blinds
were
closed
so
we
didn't
initially
know
we
could
even
sit
down,
but
we
were
brave
and
walked
in
anyway,
quickly
finding
the
sit-down
spot
to
the
right
behind
the
head-curtains.
To
see
the
menu,
you'll
have
to
scan
a
QR
code
with
your
phone,
FYI.
But
once
you
do,
it's
really
easy
to
navigate
and
order.
I
was
honestly
surprised
at
how
quickly
my
food
arrived,
even
with
a
constant
barrage
of
customers
coming
in
to
pick
up
their
take-out
orders.
When
I
received
my
food,
the
portions
were
definitely
generous.
The
Chicken
Curry
consisted
of
a
very,
very
large
scoop
of
white
rice
with
an
even
larger
scoop
of
a
mixture
of
baked
potato
chunks
and
chicken.
It
included
one
of
those
take-out
salads
with
the
orange
zest
dressing,
and
a
medium
sized
bowl
of
miso
soup.
Two
of
our
party
had
Poke
bowls
-
The
salmon
or
the
tuna.
It
had
corn,
thin
seaweed
strips,
and
layered
slices
of
avocado,
all
on
a
bed
of
rice
of
your
choice,
along
with
three
scoops
of
tuna/salmon
tartare.
It
was
mouth-watering.
In
the
age
of
inflation
and
an
unsteady
economy,
I
was
expecting
the
prices
to
be
more
expensive
than
they
were
for
what
we
got.
No,
nothing
was
super-cheap,
but
it
wasn't
vastly
overpriced
either.
It
was
a
welcome
relief.
Everything
was
clean
and
orderly.
There
were
only
two
people
working
at
the
time
but
somehow
they
were
faster
(And
nicer!)
than
places
that
had
more
staff
working.
I
genuinely
had
a
wonderful
time,
and
I
was
so
unexpectedly
charmed
by
it
that
I
will
user
as
many
people
to
eat
here
as
possible.
Thanks,
Edo!
I
really
appreciate
the
hospitality.
I
hope
to
eat
there
again.
