1st visit, we were very impressed by the quality and selection of plants. Knowledgeable staff, plants very well tended. Great farm shop and cafe, although we were unable to be seated initially as all the dog friendly outdoor seating was in use. Great range of other goods as is usual in most garden centres. Ample parking.

We often go to Rushfeilds for shopping in the farm shop, as it has a great selection of food and drink etc. We then usually end up in the cafe. The service is customer friendly and fairly quick. One thing that they should fix is when eating in their outside section is that bloody sliding door that people and staff open and close. Its a heavy metal door. It is really noisy and disrupting when its being opened and closed constantly by staff and customers. I am sure they could get something better and quieter. Other than that great place.

Waitress in cafe was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. She went to great lengths to explain items on the menu and portion sizes. She also made sure we had necessary extra plates. So sorry we didn't get her name. A great experience.

We went for brunch and I had the full breakfast. It was one of the best in the area. Prime quality sausage, bacon and properly cooked mushroom. I couldn’t fault any of it. I will certainly be going again.

Very nice place to have a coffee with friends the breakfast is fantastic, my only quibble is the cappuccino is served way to hot and turns the coffee bitter it should be around 85 degrees for a good coffee.

Love it, always keen to please in the cafe, our son is Coeliac and also has multiple food allergies (dairy, eggs, peas and legumes, citrus, soya etc), he was happy to watch us eat but the staff insisted that they would prepare something safe fir him to eat, they did him proud. Garden Centre staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and the farm shop, what can I say? I always buy their gorgeous Romany Sausages and gluten free for son.

We stoped for a cream tea at Rushfields garden center on the way home... I wasn't expecting this would turn out to be the best experience of all time! We ordered 2 x cream tea's (fruit scones, Earl's grey and English breakfast tea) the quality of EVERYTHING absolutely blew us away, can't wait to return ... service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ food quality ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ price for value ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Got a lovely plant - for an inexperienced plant carer like myself, really loved the little info cards that were with each plant! Lovely little shop, and the farm shop is great for something a bit more local. The sausage selection was amazing and all the meat was fabulous. Also picked up a few gifts as there's a lot of things you'd struggle to find anywhere else! Lovely for gifts and a treat, but a little pricey for the weekly shop.

Local produce does’nt exist at this garden centre! Popped in to buy some chestnuts only to be told they only sell Chinese chestnuts, yet all the local supermarkets are selling fresh english chestnuts, you should be supporting local producers and local farmers, not buying in cheap and inferior produce from abroad.

Had a wonderful bacon bap and my friend loved her sandwich. Very good food. Also enjoyed a trio round their aladin's cave of shop. Great for Xmas goodies as well as everything else.

It’s my first time here and it didn’t disappoint. Came here for lunch with family and had the pigs in blankets bap with chips and it was heaven on a plate. Nicely laid out lovely staff and excellent service. The garden centre itself had good parking and easy access for a wheelchair.

Nice independent garden centre - great choice of plants, excellent farm shop selling local products. Also has a cafe and a selection of clothes, books, cards etc to peruse.

A big collection of outdoor plants with a well stocked shop of garden tools and a nice selection of garden furniture. Great food shop on site and when the fishmonger is here, he has a nice selection of seafood too.

Love Rushfields so much. Always a gorgeous selection of plants, the farm shop is amazing & so is the cafe. Friday fish & chips is the best you’ll find & all the cakes too. Really warm, attentive staff highly recommend.

Had the best experience today. Kathryn and Sarah were both so helpful. I'm not an experienced gardener and they spent time educating me and helping me choose some new items for my front and back garden. I'll definitely go back and spend more time there. Really lovely atmosphere and lots to offer.

Lovely garden centre small enough to be personal but big enough to cater for your needs. Has a very good butchers in house offer on lamb legs when we went making it competitive with a supermarket for them. Local sparkling wines on display and beers great selection. Superb cafe on site with lovely staff. Wait to be seated system and all tables are disinfected before you are seated. I had fish and chips the days special and my companions had Wilshire ham on seeded bread with coleslaw and a sides of skin on fries. A pot of tea and a coffee (non dairy) were also ordered total cost just over 48 pounds. Everyone enjoyed their food and we had no room for a sweet! Superb choice of cakes on offer so be warned you will need to make room for them!

A single score for four different offerings is difficult because they are all so different. The food shop, plant section, cafe and garden centre all vary in the quality and range of stock. For example the plants stock and range is very limited but this is more a function of its small size. The food shop is more high end with a focus on quality. Garden centre is pretty good and the cafe seems very popular although I haven’t tried it. On the whole though it is well run with friendly staff.
