Great pup. Great beers. Great people. Great landlord. I was here on a normal Thursday evening in March.

Great find and great place to while away time in a friendly warm and pleasant environment. Great selection of drinks with some food or you seem allowed to bring you own. Worth being on the list for attractions but no disabled facilities.

We dropped by late evening not knowing about the place. Apparently it had only been open for 5 or 6 months? It was great. The view inside was obsursed by the slight condensation on the windows. (It was a cold February evening) so we had to peer in. The beer storage room is behind a floor to ceiling plate glass window so you can see the beer. They have a great electric mini winch to lift the kegs / casks up without disturbing them which was cool to to watch. We were fortunate to end up chatting briefly to the brewer who I assume had just brought over / installed a couple of ales. It was a very friendly and relaxed vibe. The huge pork pies ( once a week delivery locally made were very very nice) pic attached. . Not too dry at all and great with the powerful mustard. We had three... A wide selection of board games, gins, very dog friendly, owner was very chatty and friendly. We'll definitely be back. Great pub with a definite touch of SteamPunk too! 4 mins from the station, down the ramp, turn away from the sea as opposed towards it, under the bridge and its 200m ish... Deserves 6 stars!

Visited The Royston Micro-pub during our short visit to Broadstairs(July 2023). It was a great place! We loved everything about it! Andy was a very welcoming host. We loved the unique way the pub decor was kitted out, it was stylish and has beautiful light fittings, lovely bar. The WC is flamboyant and must be seen(classy!) Great drinks, delish bar snacks and a wonderful vibe! Thanks Andy! We hope to return again. Yeter and Lee

First visit highly recommended. Sam gave us a warm welcome and told us the history of the venue. Great selection of beverages. Great decor and games to play.

Sam was very Friendly, personable and took the time to show us the beers on offer - which helped us pick! And we chose great beers based on his recommendations. If you like your beers, it’s the best place around

Award winning micro pub, Sam is super passionate about the beers and ciders, which deserve the passion, and he's a perfect host - really well kept drinks and excellent selection... and a lovely local atmosphere. We'll worth a visit!!

Excellent little pub. Great atmosphere due to those working there. Check out before you go as they have event evenings when you can't just walk in.

Amazing pub! Such good beer for such good value, very friendly staff and owner, love the decor, and the locals were so nice too. We felt so welcome. Had our 2 dogs and that was fine as well. Thank you very much!!!!

Just brilliant! What can I say? A great selection of ales and ciders which are changing regularly. I defy anyone not to find something they like. Thanks to Andy and Sam, brilliant attentive service. They obviously have a passion for what they are doing. The atmosphere is great, certainly far better than I expected all round. Price is very good and competitive, board games, snacks, decent beers and ciders and great staff. What's not to love ?

Best pub in Broadstairs by a mile... Wonderful drinks, wonderful owners and wonderful atmosphere....

Great little micro pub with a strong peaky blinders theme. Nice staff and welcoming staff who are enthusiastic about their beers. Many board and card games to play with. This place is a real gem for Broadstairs. Well done.

What a cracking bar/pub! Excellent craft beers, very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. We brought over (amazing) kebabs from over the road - they invited us to sit in or outside with them and brought us proper cutlery instead of using the takeaway’s

Lovely micropub. Great choice of drinks at reasonable prices. Fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Pickled eggs were amazing. Wonderful atmosphere and a real buzz. Can't recommend enough.

I first went into the Royston when it had just opened i was down from London visiting my friend and she wanted to go there I've got various health issues witch sometimes make me feel self conscious Andy is a perfect host he made feel comfortable strait away that coupled with his vast knowledge and selection of beer makes for a must if your visiting Broadstairs and like good beer and vibes. K

What a lovely micropub the Royston is. Andy and his partner are very welcoming and run a spotlessly clean pub with many quirky features, which only add to the enjoyment. Can't wait to return, regards Mick

Great local micropub with good selection of local ciders and ales. They have a fun selection of board games too! Worth the walk from the beach if you're looking for a decent pint.

Don't quite know what to make of this micropub. Different atmosphere and slightly more expensive than the other ones in Broadstairs. Had a varied and somewhat eclectic choice of ales. The strong dark one didn't appeal to me on a summers afternoon. Had a cloudy pale ale, was more like a craft beer than an ale. Some people might like this but not to my taste
