5/5 Simon R. 2 years ago on Google
We
dropped
by
late
evening
not
knowing
about
the
place.
Apparently
it
had
only
been
open
for
5
or
6
months?
It
was
great.
The
view
inside
was
obsursed
by
the
slight
condensation
on
the
windows.
(It
was
a
cold
February
evening)
so
we
had
to
peer
in.
The
beer
storage
room
is
behind
a
floor
to
ceiling
plate
glass
window
so
you
can
see
the
beer.
They
have
a
great
electric
mini
winch
to
lift
the
kegs
/
casks
up
without
disturbing
them
which
was
cool
to
to
watch.
We
were
fortunate
to
end
up
chatting
briefly
to
the
brewer
who
I
assume
had
just
brought
over
/
installed
a
couple
of
ales.
It
was
a
very
friendly
and
relaxed
vibe.
The
huge
pork
pies
(
once
a
week
delivery
locally
made
were
very
very
nice)
pic
attached.
.
Not
too
dry
at
all
and
great
with
the
powerful
mustard.
We
had
three...
A
wide
selection
of
board
games,
gins,
very
dog
friendly,
owner
was
very
chatty
and
friendly.
We'll
definitely
be
back.
Great
pub
with
a
definite
touch
of
SteamPunk
too!
4
mins
from
the
station,
down
the
ramp,
turn
away
from
the
sea
as
opposed
towards
it,
under
the
bridge
and
its
200m
ish...
Deserves
6
stars!
