Outstanding North Indian and South Indian food! Every dish is super delicious and full of flavour. The masala dosa lives up to the name of the restaurant - super crispy! Bhatura were super soft and crispy. Also recommend the chilli paneer and masala mogo! Beautiful decor. Staff were very accommodating for our under one year old. Good clean changing facilities, high-chair available also have space for a buggy/pram. Areas for improvement- floor could do with more cleaning. Non—alcoholic drinks and dessert menu need expanding then they are totally there!

I must say food and service were amazing. All staff were friendly ,caring and vigilant. Ambience was lovely.Music selection was really very good. Food was really so good that I forgot to take pic of other orders 😆 Mr.KD Singh attended us and took very good care. Infact my child was very happy with him n food.I recommend this to everyone specially if you are pure vegetarian. Pure vegetarian outlet with Ambience, good taste and good staff is difficult to find . Must visit.

I’m local so I’ve been to Crispy Dosa multiple times and I can totally recommend it. Food is excellent and fresh!! Staff are always very friendly and accommodating. Service was fast and efficient. Toilets are big clean which is a big plus. They have gluten-free options but often run out of Dosa batter in the evenings so make sure you call and book ahead of time if you’re gf. A very nice addition to Windsor even if you’re not vegetarian. Keep up the good work!

Excellent! The food was the best I have had in a while even when compared to India. It was truly authentic. We had ordered a lot of different options and all of them were delicious. Great Menu and the service was quick and awesome. Definitely going to visit again and again. Money well spent.

Just Amazing. The food was the best I have had in a long time. Didn’t expect such great South Indian option in Windsor but I am glad I tried it. Definitely going to visit regularly, The location is perfect for me, right in the heart of Windsor! Drink options seems great too but haven’t had a chance to try this time. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for excellent Indian food..

Firstly the restaurant is clean and staff attentive and friendly. Enjoyed the starter of pani poori and Gobi 65. We all had thali for main Bombay and Madras. Overall very enjoyable the rice with the Bombay Thali was especially nice. Have recently visited again and had Masla Dosai, ghee dosai and poori. All really nice and authentic.

Anyone looking for the best authentic South Indian food then this is the place... I had visited this place with my family for lunch. Such a warm and positive vibe of the restaurant. The staff is also very friendly and especially Shubham he delivered the best service. What to say about food - No words to express for the food that we had the Flavours were so authentic, we forgot for a while if we were in india or in London. The restaurant is also very clean and hygiene. Price wise is also decent enough. 10/10 - Ambience 10/10 - food 10/10 - staff 10/10 - Clean and Hygiene This is the place where I can visit every now and then. The Yummiiest Food in town... before I forget - The Filter coffee - Those who know it, know it.... u can't describe it. I LOVED IT AND MADLY IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE. ❤

We ordered one of the special dosa and masala dosa, parota, starter platter, masala tea and gulab jamun for the dessert! And let me tell you, the dosas are huge and left us stuffed. The flavours are amazing, everything is freshly cooked. If you know about roti canai then the parota is very close to it! We all enjoyed the meal and the staff was very kind :) will come here again to try other dishes.

My wife and I moved to Windsor a week ago and we were delighted to have a south indian restaurant nearby. We dined here 3 days in a row. The food, ambience, and our host Madhavan's hospitality made our house moving experience a little less troublesome. This is not a typical curry houses that you find across UK. We highly recommend to try their not just their Masala Dosas but also Indo-Chinese starters such as Babycorn Manchurian .

I am someone who doesn't eat Indian food a lot but I will have to say I am glad I walked into this place! The food was extraordinary and the staff are very polite and friendly. Kudos to them for being cheerful. I am going to come back again for sure and I have never known Indian cuisine could be this amazing.

If you haven’t done Crispy Dosa…you should! My wife and I were in Windsor just for the evening after having arrived at London Heathrow earlier that day. We went there on a whim, but what a wonderful surprise it was. That we didn’t have any reservations and the restaurant was packed, they found seats for us right away. Having never experienced dosa, we picked out an appetizer, Manchurian mushroom, and a dosa that we thought we might like, and then asked for a suggestion from the waiter. He graciously suggested a spinach filled one. The mushroom appetizer was wonderfully spicy. You know…that kind of spicy that makes you sweat and smile at the same time. Heaven! When the doses came, we were amazed by the size of them and realized that we had ordered too much food. We ate all we could enjoying every single bite! The dipping sauces were unique, interesting and flavorful. Hopefully we will be able to find a restaurant like this when we get back home. My wife and I highly recommend this friendly, lovely, lively restaurant.

I usually go to Crispy Dosa during the weekend for their amazing breakfast but this time around I ventured in for dinner and I was amazed at the selection of their dinner menu. Each dish was perfectly made and we even asked for extra rasam to go with our vada. Every dish was just perfect. Service was amazing too. I decided to treat myself for Dussehra and I struck gold with the quality of the food.

Visited this place today with the family. Staff were fantastic, food was fresh and arrived quickly. Portions were generous. I'd reserved a table, and glad I had as the restaurant had a steady stream of diners. There were many South Indian people dining there - always a good sign as you know the menu is genuine and not toned down for the gora palate. Asked for a take away container for leftovers and was provided with one, and a carrier bag to put it in. My only gripe would be the mango lassi was very expensive at £4.99 per glass. Other than that, would recommend this restaurant and would dine here again.

We visited here as a family a few weeks ago and everyone really enjoyed the food. Very authentic Indian vegetarian food. This is some of the most delicious vegetarian food we have had, particularly outside of London. We ordered a selection of food from the menu and everyone loved their dishes. Well worth a visit and definitely will be returning again. They also have a larger room upstairs for private seating/events.

On both occasions I have visited , the food has been delicious and flavorful! The service from the team is also to high standards. Friendly team with great food in a fabulous location. What more can you ask for.

I can’t begin to describe how excited I was when the sign appeared that a pure veg Indian restaurant was coming to Windsor! For those who may be a little less familiar with Indian food, pure veg is a different realm compared to huge oil laden dishes more commonly encountered at Indian restaurants in the UK. Pure veg has an unparalleled complexity of flavour and texture and is the closest (I’ve encountered) to authentic Indian food in the UK. While Crispy Dosa may not have the full authentic spice level (understandable as it would likely be too spicy for many people) it has all of the flavour and none of the excess oil/grease. We ordered the tomato & tamarind rasam soup to start (a nutritious digestive aid, especially for spicy food) and a 3 portion of Idly with sambols and papad. The idly were moist and slightly springy which is exactly how they should be. We then shared a masala dosa, a delicious savoury pancake- crispy at the edges/ on the outside and softer in the middle, filled with potato curry and a variety of piquant sambols on the side. It was a first for me to experience a pure veg restaurant with elevated modern interiors. The majority I’ve visited have been quite basic, similar to how they are in India. The ambience and interiors at Crispy Dosa are laid back, cosy and slightly higher end without extortionate prices- all positives in my opinion. As we were leaving, we noticed 90% of other diners were Indian. Our lunch was so good we were tempted to make a reservation for dinner during our stay in Windsor too but it won’t be long till we’re back. Crispy Dosa will be our first stop! P.s If you love mango lassis (or if mango purée blended with cooling yoghurt sounds delicious to you) don’t forget to order one! It’s the perfect accompaniment to a spicy pure veg meal.

We were really looking forward to tasting their Dosa, when we looked at the reviews, it looked delicious in the pictures. I felt that the staff were walking around like zombies, no matter what I asked, she nods 😶 As for the dosa I ate better tasting ones. Their chai was bitter and disappointingly served with white sugar 😢 The prices do not match the food quality they offer. And the worst part, my husband ended up with a diarrhoea and a headache the following two days after.

Dosa size was really big. Need two people to finish one dosa. But their quantity of chutney and sambhar is on lesser side. Service is bit poor. I have asked twice for chutney. For one visit you can go.

We had a disappointing experience here last night. The menu was inaccurate & items made with paneer and ghee were labelled vegan. As a vegan this made me very nervous about ordering. I spoke to the manager and he explained that there was an error during printing and that new, correctly labelled menus would be available from today. He was able to advise me which dishes were vegan which I appreciated. We ordered a portion of masala vada to share, a mixed veg utthapam and a rava masala dosa. The utthapam and dosa arrived but not the vada. When we asked the waiter about it he said that they were out of vada! Why didn't they tell us this earlier and we could have ordered something else? The dosa and utthapam and accompanying chutneys were delicious but were lukewarm. We ordered a bottle of white wine but it was warm so we sent it back and ordered a couple of beers. The beers weren't properly chilled either. The manager took 50% off our bill as a gesture of goodwill. He said they'd only been open for 6 days and were experiencing a few teething problems! He was very apologetic and courteous. Because of this we will definitely go back as it's wonderful to have authentic South Indian, vegan-friendly food so close to where I live. However, we'll probably give it a couple of months before returning when hopefully they'll have sorted out the staffing & kitchen problems.

Really really good food at Crispy Dosa! It was our first visit but I've been meaning to try this restaurant for a while. I had the aloo gobi and a plain naan. It was delicious! Probably the best aloo gobi I've ever had. One of my nephews had the cheese and potato dosa and the other the mild mixed veg noodles. Both enjoyed their food but the cheese and potato dosa was a hit with everyone. I'd really recommend Crispy Dosa. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was very clean and it was reasonably priced. We were a group of 6 and were seated without a reservation.

Crispy Dosa in Windsor 🤩 is the initial reaction; living in Windsor for the past 18years it’s great to have a traditional Indian street food kind of place to drop in, Snack a bite and go home and relax… Well this was a bit of a shocker… being Indian myself and in Laws being Sri Lankan we were 🤐 the food was very disappointing… and even worse was the Bill at the end of the tasteless food… aesthetically speaking great interior for those fun selfie moments… Presentation also good… Taste unfortunately Lacking and I’m not on about Chilli 🌶️ wise either this was bland I felt like I was down covid again with no tastebuds…

I'd heard great things about the food here, but I left very disappointed. The paneer manchurian didn't have any fresh chillis, didn't resemble manchurian in flavour and the dosa was more like a wrap

Wow, I wish I could rate more than 5 stars. My fiends and I had a great time. The food felt a little spicy but honestly it is just my taste buds fault lol :D The location is perfect, close to the castle and we were craving some Indian food and found this place. We ordered a wine bottle and it was perfect. The service was impeccable, everyone was super busy but they all had a big smile on the face and were super friendly. Kudos to the staff!
