I left a broken pocket watch in, it had been dropped and the glass was broken, casing hinges bent and it wasn't working. This watch was my grandfather's watch and was originally bought in America many years ago. This was of sentimental value and I had no real details of it. Jon was able to repair this to working condition and replace the glass for a very fair and reasonable price, he also gave an honest and comprehensive valuation and was very helpful and professional in his business with me. Would recommend for any repairs or servicing needed, in fact he blew me away with his knowledge of clocks and watches and antiques.

Jon is a pleasure to deal with. My watch had stopped running and I brought it to Orchard Watch and Clock Repair, Jon had it fixed and back working flawlessly extremely quickly. John repaired my wife's Gucci watch. He was very knowledgable and kept us up to date with progress. The watch needed more work than anticipated but John still insisted on keeping to the same cost to repair it. My wife is delighted to get her watch back as good as new. A great job all round.

John is a very personable and obviously knowledgeable individual. He carried out repairs to a Grandfather clock and a Vienna wall clock which had both stopped working and had them both performing perfectly in short order. Unfortunately the Grandfather stopped chiming and striking following a period of time and, although John was unable to address the problem at the time because of Covid, he has recently repaired it again. When I visited his workshop I saw an old school clock which I just had to purchase and it is now hanging in my kitchen where it has been greatly admired.

Jon did a great job of rebuilding my somewhat neglected wall clock. Really pleased to have it back on the wall, running without stopping and keeping good time.

Asked John to refurbish old Certina watch which was badly corroded internally and had a defaced dial due to moisture.John successfully cleaned and renewed the watch and sent the dial to London to have the dial lettering to be be reconstructed to its original specification. Very pleased with the result,got back my fathers watch in an almost new looking condition,a watch that I will now wear.Orchard Watches are a very professional operation and himself is very attentive to detail and his customers needs.

Repair work is top quality. Turnaround was nearly 3 months faster than the jeweller the watch was purchased from was quoting, and for a significantly better price.
