Trespass choice is ok as a whole, and very affordable. This branch however is let down, not by the staff, but by the wanna be 'big shot' manager. Upon walking into an empty store, my wife and I overheard what appeared to be a sales review being conducted on the shop floor. It was quiet, being a manager myself I get utilising the downtime, however he didnt stop to acknowledge us and said to his team member 'if I didnt like you, you wouldnt be here'. Which 1. Is out of order and 2. No way to manage staff. Yes, I am cutting a little phase out of a conversation which was saying the his member of staff was doing 'enough' not to raise concerns - about as much praise as she received. I then enquired with the lady/girl as to why one jacket was more expensive than the other even though they looked identical except in colour. She didnt know after looking at the label and ascertaining they were in fact the same model. I didnt mind that, because next she took the garment to the till to carry out a further check - then big balls manager chirped up. 'Oh the prices have just been updated, we'll do it for the £29.99 price'. The other one was £19.99, reduced from £39.99. He then proceeded to 'guess/assume'as to why its different ' yeah this one is from the autumn 2019 season, I know we got it in early dont ask me why. And the cheaper one is from the autumn collection 2018'. Ok that's feasible, so I enquired about the garments having the same name. Out behind the counter this do gooder manager came to look at the labels and prove a point in highlighting the differences - which the more than competent sales advisor had already done and figured out there were none hence going to the till. Guess what, he couldnt find anything different, this his lying and incompetence was plain to see. Rather than coaching him to handle the situation better, I bit my lip (mostly from the state my wife gave me as she knew where this was heading). I thanked the sales advisor and left. If I was closer, I would probably have poached the sales advisor as theres so much potential in her given the right manager to coach. I will follow this review up with an email to head office as this was completely unacceptable of the manager and hes the one that perhaps need urgent reviewing and coaching.

Amazing service! Just stopped by to have a gander. The staff greeted me straight away and asked how they could help, then one lovely lady (Fay I think she said her name was) walked me to what I needed and went through the entire range with me, her product knowledge was fantastic. I'm local and always in need of new coats, boots etc. For when I'm with the horses. I'll definitely be back!

Went into Tresspass newquay today for a winter walking coat for my wife, was told by girl hanging garments, no winter stock out now, so we went to milletts just up the road, their customer service was outstanding put the same question to them they said their stock was upstairs and they bought a huge selection down we then spent £125.00 on a coat shame on you tresspass. Update on this review customer services contacted me. And hopefully the staff will improve with their customer service. So a big thank you to Barry from Tresspass the above is only my experience try for yourselves.

While on holiday called in to the Griffin inn. Not many places do prawn cocktail for starters this one did and it was lovely as was the rest of the meal. Had s lovely time. The Todd family
