An incredible hidden gem! Top quality bread + friendly staff. Their tomato bread is absolutely delicious, i would go back every day if I could. By far the best bakery in the area. Can't recommend it enough

Lovely tea room with accommodating and pleasant service. Pots run at 5Β£ shared. Pro tip: the scones are better than the croissants and their cheese selection is small but superb!

I do have to give this place a ton of credit; whenever I walk past in the mornings on my way to work I always get a wave and smile from the staff working in the front... So this endeared me to TMB massively. I had a medical appointment on the 16th and felt like I should treat my mum to a treat here (long overdue) but also we've always viewed this as an upmarket (posh) bakery so have always been a bit worried about trying it. There was no need! I asked about gluten free options and was advised they only have one option per day normally; Mondays offering was an opera cake. I tried this as I've never had one of them before, and my mum had a blueberry crumble flapjack. She was a bit un-keen but that's because she doesn't like mascarpone cheese and had forgotten that. The hot chocolate I ordered was divine, just dark enough and bordering on the edge of bitter and creamy; just divine. Mum had a latte but it was a bit too rich for her, bless her. The only reason I gave a four star is I would have adored at least one other food option on the menu for variety's sake but I do totally understand cross contamination and how procedures around that are very difficult. Overall, it was a beautiful visit and I'd love to return.

Excellent value for money! Large portions and great quality ingredients. The three cheese toasty was delicious, great bread, and lashings of cheese! Interior is well maintained, staff very friendly and attentive. We'll be coming back. Ramsgate has needed somewhere like this for years.

Thank goodness I was only visiting and not a local, I would easily be the size of a house with the sheer selection of pastries and cake on offer! Can recommend the almond croissant but that’s just because that was the treat I had. My family will argue that their choices were the best as we all had something different. The Cottage loaf was almost spoilt when we turned it into sandwiches. It really just needed a good slathering of butter and eaten as is. It’s not a cheap option (you’ll want to go to Greggs for that) but it was definitely worth the extra for the flavours and quality.

We visited this wonderful cafe for breakfast. Hubby had the best eggs Benedict. Eggs cooked perfectly. Most delicious ham. I had a bacon roll with homemade brown sauce. Very friendly staff. Cannot praise my experience enough. We loved the food so much we took a peanut butter and jelly croissant to go which blew our minds.

The best baked things I've ever had in Britain. There is nothing I've ever eaten from TMB that hasn't been extraordinary. Today's Sourdough Granary was a revelation - fluffy, nutty, beautiful crumb and a just hint of natural sour. I've eaten (my colleague said "devoured") half the loaf in 3 minutes... Mouthfuls of joy!

Relaxed and airy space and lovely staff. The coffee is excellent and the breakfast / brunch sandwiches are packed with flavour and super filling. The pastries are all gorgeous too!

They have moved since I was here last. So no queuing outside on Queen Street . Now in Harbour Street in a lovely double fronted building. Lots of seating inside and table service. Still the same lovely baked goods though. Nice to see how Ramsgate town is attracting new buisnesses back into the centre

First time here, had 2 almond croissants and tea, coffee. Just after 8am, so pretty empty, like what they've done with the decor, food and drinks arrived by the lovely waitress, croissants were amazing, staff friendly. Plenty of choice for breakfast/lunch etc. Paid the bill......Β£15.00. Little excessive we thought for 2 drinks and 2 croissants. Wouldn't take the whole family after that but happy to go once a while for a treat. Just the 2 of us.

Update: 2023.07.09 Yes we are back again and again and we target to try every single item from this bakery, so good, especially the TMB’s sourdough and all the pies, pastries… This bakery is low key, but amazingly delicious, we will definitely go back again for more πŸ’‹β€οΈ

An amazing place that Ramsgate has been crying out for for a long time. Having moved from much smaller premises to their current location, the only way is up. Firstly, wonderful bread products, simple but brilliant. Next, the cakes, wow just amazing. Now branching out with a coffee shop and deli products, I will be going here often!

Great fresh produce, Sunday stroll for fresh bakes. Supporting local businesses - it makes sense.

Stopped by on Sunday and got some quiche and a mozzarella and pesto swirl - both fantastic and everything looks so good. Lady who served us was also really nice. Will be back!

I went today for the first time following a recommendation from my friend Todd. I had a Rueben's Sandwich, it was awesome, really tasty. Highly recommended and they will be seeing more of me. No picture of the Sandwich as I ate it!!

I went specifically for the ham and cheese croissants, which were absolutely amazing and I wish I had bought more of them! But ended up leaving with them and a baguette, two more plain croissants one normal one vegan, and more items I can't remember the names of! Everything was delicious, the staff were friendly and inviting and I can't wait to go back soon! Also everything was pack in paper which for me is a bonus x

I can't fault this place on the quality of their baked goods. The miso custard tart is umami heaven. However, not so good on the hot drinks front. They had two attempts at making me a capuccino. First time it came cold and second - had no coffee in it! Disappointing.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the food and drink were amazing (it's rare to find a good hot chocolate, and if you eat meat I recommend the turkey bolognese baguette), the only downside is that there weren't a lot of menus so we had to ask another table if we could use theirs. Overall a great experience and I'll be back

An in-house service that bakes and creates all the products on sale. It is 100% pet friendly too! Having shopped here previously from the front of shop, we had a brunch here for the first time in the bright and clean cafe at the back. Looking at the menu, we were initially a bit surprised at the "high" prices. However, when it arrived, we were shocked at the size of portions. They were not only huge, but also delicious! Absolutely worth the money! The bacon sandwich I was presented with had so much filling that I could only manage a half of it, so I ended up taking the rest home. Hubby had the toasted 3 cheese sandwich in sour dough bread, which came with homemade tomato sauce. According to him this was delicious too, and he did manage to eat all of his! The fact that neither of us could even think of eating an evening meal that night is testament to the quality and quantity of products this bakery provides. I highly recommend a visit. We will definitely be returning!

We walk in today and ordered 3 ham and salad rolls, the woman came with 3 ham and lentils and peas stuff which didn't look appealing, so we said that was wrong, she apologized and went to make new ones. I don't know if she wasn't happy about us sending the rolls back, but she came back with ham and salad rolls as ordered, my partner had a bite, luckily my daughter hadn't touched hers, I thought I'd open and see what's inside and found 2 slices of rotten cucumbers and the same in my partner's roll, all they put in was 2/3 slices of tomato some old rocket salad which looked rotten as well and 2 slices of completely rotten cucumber. We were speechless and told the waitress that we didn't want the rolls anymore and paid for our drinks and left. This is a very bad experience and no comments they took our payment for the drinks like nothing had happened.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Absolutely amazing traditional cafe in Margate. They haven’t changed the look and feel since they opened and it’s just wonderful. Super friendly staff, tasty food (sorry for my bad picture) and good prices. The best cafe in Margate and probably one of best in all England. Highly recommend!!
