Had breakfast here just as the restrictions on the pandemic lightened. It's a lovely place big tall ceilings inside very neat and tidy, staff are lovely, breakfast was great and came with a coffee however the coffee was not very strong at all but maybe I'm just used to Greg's now lol. Facilities clean and plenty not just 1 cubicle which I think is important. Some outside seating as well if you want to look at Sainsbury's and chug in some traffic light intersection smoke. We would come back my parents live in cockermouth so plenty opportunity. Thanks again. ☕🍽️🥪🥨🍳🥓

Fantastic breakfast! The queue for tables moved fairly quickly with good Covid-19 practices being implemented by staff. Staff were really friendly and polite. There's not many places you go these days that substitute your unwanted items in a full English, so being mushroom free and an extra rasher of bacon up I was a happy man. Perfect strong coffee to get you set for a day adventuring around in the lakes. The food was perfect with both me and my partner both being very impressed. You could have paid double and not grumbled at the food. We will definitely be visiting again next time we are around Cockermouth! Many thanks for such a great start to the morning

Amazing little cafe, good choice on the menu lots of lovely cakes/desserts to choose from. Coffee & Hot chocolate was so good, we also had lunch of fishfinger butty & Sweet chilli chicken baguette & chunky chips. Lovely attentive staff thank you so much 😀

We went here for breakfast and were not disappointed. It's a lovely, light, airy building. The staff were very welcoming. The food was amazing. We both had Avocado Stack, vegetarian option, which came with sliced grilled tomatoes instead of bacon. They also had caramelised onion on the bottom and poached eggs on the top. Very delicious 😋 Coffee was good too.

First visit for me, although not for my Wife. Friendly, helpful staff and great food. The nice lady on the till was even kind enough to lower the card machine down for my 3 year old granddaughter to tap the card on as she loves to do that! Will definitely be back.

Came here for breakfast with my two boys. Food was really delicious and the boys loved their food. One had pancakes and warm Nutella and myself and other son had English breakfasts...perfect portion sizes. Brilliant, friendly staff. Each section cleaned and hoovered before next customers were sat. Will definitely return when I'm back in the lakes! Thank you for a great breakfast 🤩

Food is always good here. Decent cafe food and cakes. My review isn't as good as it could be as the last time we visited we ordered chips which we spilled over the table by the waitress when she was serving them out and she just looked at them and didn't offer us any new ones.

First time visiting VeeVa and it was well worth it! Staff were really friendly and helpful, we were booked in for breakfast at 9.30am. We finished our breakfast which was delicious 5* And the queue of local people waiting outside by 10am was incredible, really positive experience highly recommend

Had breakfast here three days running, fantastic friendly and personable staff, food quality was fantastic, no cutting back on quality, extremely well staffed, always cleaning and making sure everyone is happy, best breakfast experience in a very long time.

I would love to be able to be leaving a rating about the food, however we never got that far due to the rude waiting staff who came to greet us at the door. We entered at 9:56 on Sunday morning, there were already diners in there but there were a few free tables. We were asked if we were staying at a hotel name we couldn't quite hear. When we said no, the girl told us they opened at 10. We then said it was only a few minutes off and could we wait, but she once more said we open at 10, however this time in a very snappy manner. It's a shame as the food that the diner's were eating looked really good, however we weren't willing to stand outside and go back in 4 minutes later after that not so cheery welcome.

I went for the first time this morning. VeeVaa! is bright, airy and modern, but comfortable. The staff are lovely. It was bustling, but still plenty of seats, and nice quick service. My poached eggs on nice granary toast were delicious and nicely presented. Thoroughly recommend. 😊

I have been in a number of times now as I find it's the best coffee shop come cafe in town. I have had breakfast and lunch. I have now booked for afternoon tea in December with a friend and am really looking forward to it.

We had a sit in lunch overall it was okay but could be better, the small niggles let it down. My wrap had a side of nachos which was tortillas with the smallest sprinkling of cheese. I ordered a kids meal to take away it was the worst kids meal i've seen. The sandwich had a side of grapes and Cucumber which was 3 grapes and 1 slice of Cucumber cut in half. No juice, no crisps or little treat which was very disappointing for the money.

Lovely ,pleasant clean coffee shop. Enjoyed the scones but everything looked appertising . Only thing i would have liked the latte a little hotter.(didn't complain).

We visited here twice, once for a quick bite of lunch and once for a breakfast as part of our stay at the tighe barn. Both times, the food and drinks were delicious and the staff were lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Tasty sausage sandwich and coffee, although busy, staff fitted us in on a quiet little table. Staff very attentive, friendly and helpful. Facilities clean, hygienic and food hot and tasty, at a good price. Most places in Cockermouth now have loyalty cards so it's great to keep visiting when in town and rack it the loyalty stamps to earn that coveted coffee and cake or whatever.
