    Worst council ever, just getting over cancer in neck operation, come home from hospital, next morning human sewage in my back garden. Bad enough carnt get repairs done in the house now it's outside in the garden, built the apartments to close toy fence, no light in my house and cracks appeared in my roofs of the house. They have gone a bad bad council and trying to ring them for repairs expect to be on the phone for a few hours.

    They Happily leave tenants without access to electric cupboard and electric for more than 5 days not even open on a saturday. Edit: So I originally made this review two years ago and completely forgot about it my issue was dealt with a short time after I originally wrote this review and I am happy to say that I've had no problems since.

    Avoid like the plague. Easily the worse landlord I have experienced. 5 years to replace a few radiators and a boiler that was leaking. Landscaping done at 8am every time starting outside my bedroom and complaining does nothing. All but one member of staff is useless and don't care. The company is ran by money grabbing self centered people who don't care about who is in their property's so long as they get their housing benefit (I pay full rent)

    Some accommodation is very sub par. No help with decorating. Cramped property. No storage. I even have to have my fridge freezer in the lounge as the flat is so small. I wished I was joking. Too many houses split into two to make flats, making more revenue rather than quality, quantity wins every time.

    If I could give 0 stars I would. We Complained multiple times about mould and damp, the only "help" we got from them was for them to tell us to paint over it. We painted over the mould couple of times but it keeps coming back, they have not responded to our complaints about the mould (it's been over 2 months already!) and the neighbour's who keep littering and even threw up in our garden twice!! You'd think with the virus happening they would take the latter very seriously! Absolutely abysmal and no support whatsoever!

    Really bad as a landlord never do jobs to their houses put in complaint s no communication being passed from torus to HMS contractors I have had a broken front door for months and they are not interested

    Since torus and hms have taken over its been shocking hms flooded a void above my flat and ive got 2 wait 2 month before the damage is even looked at and thats not even to be fixed gotta wait another 30 days on top of that Joke bring back golden gates

    In fairness they're a good group but some housing ideas like locking meter cupboards so people can't put electric top up in the meter stupidity at the highest level. 😡

    If I could put a 0 star I would with the customer service I have recieved from both Torus and HMS. We had a plaster job completed in May 2023. One of HMS Workmen was very rude and have damaged a brand new front door trim. We had a job outstanding for this morning 10.7.23, the joiner had refused to complete the job. I have since been on the phone to the torus call centre regarding this and been I contact with a manager who has since said they are not completing the job. As HMS have damaged the front door trim, HMS should replace the parts. I have since been on the phone to the call centre who have basically said they are jot sending a surveyor out to look at the Job. I am a front line worker and I wouldn't speak to anyone is such a bad manner. I think Torus and HMS should brush up on their customer service skills as the service I recieved today was very disrespectful. We did not vote for Torus to take over the homes.i would not recommend Torus housing to anybody
