Absolutely fantastic. We went at night which felt like the best time to go in order to appreciate the dark forest. Drinks and snacks were horribly expensive, nearly £30 for 3 drinks and 2 donuts, so would definitely recommend bringing your own. Not added too many photos here so as not to spoil the surprises. Well worth a visit for any Harry Potter fans.🧙🏼

Absolutely fantastic evening spent at the HP Forbidden Forest Experience! We were a group of 7, varied ages and varying interest in HP and we all enjoyed it a lot! The amount of thought and detail that has gone into it is spectacular! The lights, sound and excerpts from the films really are quite wonderful. You can take your time wandering through the forest which I would recommend. We all agreed we would definitely come back next year! Very impressed to see all the stalls had vegan food options, next year include a vegan hot choccy please! Prepare yourself though £8 for a pasty, to be expected I suppose at this kind of thing. Oh and also I recommend wellies, it was rather muddy when we went!

As a Harry Potter fan I was excited to hear about this Forbidden Forest Experience opening and so pre-booked tickets and ended up going in November 2021. Majority of the experience was lighting, which was really nice to look at in the darkness of the forest. I do wish it was more interactive as it did get a little boring during the walk as there is only so much you can do with lights, but they did include some clever bits from the films (which I haven't included in the pictures). The hot chocolate we picked up before we began the walk was delicious, the food at the end of the walk, not so great. Over all, we did enjoy the experience. Kids would definitely enjoy it more than adults, but wear wellies or footwear you don't mind getting muddy.

Absolutely amazing ! I could have spent all day there , loved it . It says the trail is 45-60 minutes , but you can spend as long as you like , we wandered round slowly it took us about 2 hours , there’s no rush , you are not timed or kicked out , taking loads of photos . It was magical . The amount of work that has gone into the lighting , each and every bulb was set perfectly , so sensitively done , the forest is the perfect setting , old twisted , knarly trees , the little lake where Ron and Harry are in the car is so atmospheric - the reflections of the trees , the water was like a mirror it was so still. Really lovely night out , highly recommended - even if you have no idea who Harry Potter is ( is there anyone who doesn’t? !!) it is such a wonderful natural place of beauty ❤️🌳🌲

I visited the attraction with my girlfriend paying £50 each as it looked like a fun date night. We both felt like the price might be steep as we weren't sure if the attraction was going to be authentic to Harry Potter, however when we got there we were very wrong. We went at night to get the full Forbidden Forest effect, driving down village roads in the dark as there were no road lights. When we got there the attraction looked small from the front, however the forest is huge and winds round behind the attraction and then back to the entrance. It was everything I wanted it to be and you could tell it was officially licensed and backed by Harry Potter; Harry Potter music and quotes from characters playing all the way round, incredible lighting displays, interactive meetings with characters from the films, great picture opportunities, fun experiences with wands, it blew us both away. We spent a total of 2 hours at the attraction. Every member of staff from the guides to the catering staff we came across were friendly and happy to be there which made our experience much more enjoyable. The 'finale' at the end of the trail will also blow you away and is an experience every Harry Potter fan should witness. The Harry Potter themed food and drink was a bit pricey - we bought two hot chocolates for £5.50 each, two bottles of Butterbeer for £8.50 each and we had food at the end of the trail such as fish and chips and a pork roll with roast potatoes. The food ranged from about £9- £15. You can also roast marshmallows and then have the chance to put free toppings on them which was fun, so we spent about £40 on food and drink between the two of us, but this was because we both got carried away with all the themed products being sold. As I said, a bit expensive but what you'd expect at this kind of attraction. You can definitely go with your own food and drink, there is no pressure to purchase anything once there. A great evening that I've been buzzing about to all my friends and family, it's a must go if you're local and are looking for an alternative to the Harry Potter Studios in London, I'd highly recommend visiting

A must visit for all Harry Potter fans! It's really creative what they have done out of just another forest in New York. The experience looks to capture most of the important events that happen in the Forbidden forest in the Harry Potter series, so that was really great! The marshmallows (you can even roast them on your own) and butter beer were really great. On Winter evenings, it gets really really cold, so dress as warm as you can! We noticed that the crowds reduce closer to 9pm. As others have suggested, some improvements can be made to the overall experience - staff clicking photos for couples (who do not have anyone else to click), including the neighboring lake for a dark lake experience and maybe better memorabilia to purchase.

Fantastic experience and light show through the woodlands. Fantastic Harry Potter theming throughout. Great interactive activities to do. We took loads of photos and enjoyed our walk. It did seem a lot shorter than expected. No one seemed to care about social distancing throughout. Tickets are expensive but found cheaper tickets at a later time and gift shop & foods are way overpriced.

Overall, it's worth the money. It's a great evening out in a very beautiful picturesque lit up wood full of bright colours. Great sound effects. If your into Harry Potter you will love it. It was different this year compared to last year and it was also an improvement, especially with the green screen at the end. I definitely recommend going

A fantastic experience that's great for the whole family. I'd advise you to go at night like we did (for the atmosphere) and wear walking boots or wellies as you'll be walking around the forest in the mud. The souvenir shops and food huts are expensive and you can't miss them, hence why one star less. Overall, a fantastic evening out.

We came here last year too and had an amazing time. Unfortunately when we went last night it was raining therefore it made the trip less enjoyable - I would recommend checking the weather before you come as a dry evening is so much better. The staff were lovely and helped in anyway they could. The food and drink options were great and fitted the HP theme extremely well. My only issue was the price, luckily we got a discount code this year but prices should have been £46 each for adults, which I personally don’t think is worth it. Some may disagree! For the same price you can visit the HP studio tours in London with a lot more to view. Nevertheless, it was a nice evening and great to be outdoors ⚡️

We absolutely loved this experience, the evening time made it perfect to explore the forest with the beautifully lit up trail. I feel no expense was spared with the props around the trail, they were really well built & designed. The little interactive stations were really fun & enjoyable. I won’t say too much so it’s not spoilt but the spider part and the finale are fantastic. If you are a HP fan then it’s absolutely worth a visit, a few things to bare in mind are: drinks, snack & gift shop are extremely expensive! Which really lets it down! Standard Cans of pop are £3 each! A small hot chocolate £8! So I recommend taking your own. Make sure you wrap up warm and wear footwear thats suitable for getting muddy & take your time to explore as you can only go round once, some people were racing through but we just took our time & enjoy it. The end of the trail has cute little food huts and fire pit to toast marshmallows We had a fantastic family evening, highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very enjoyable visit. Its quite a long walk but we didnt really notice till after when our legs and feet were aching! Felt like we were really walkimg through the forbidden forest! Seeing lights, sound effects and magical creatures. Downside is it was way to busy! Too many people and long queues to take a picture with iconic Harry potter scenes like the protonus stag, wand battle, and a few others. We didnt bother wasting time standing in a line so feel like we missed out abit. I feel like the Harry potter studios near London does it all abit better. Plus another downside is the price of things!! £11 for the famous butterbear and mug, so if we both had one that would have been £22 for 2 drinks!! Everything was very expensive but i suppose its going to be so no suprise. Still loved it tho and defo worth a visit for any Harry potter fan.

What an incredible experience! Since you walk in the whole atmosphere is magical, from the food stations, to the people, we were in awe and didn't want the experience to come to an end. There are so many surprises for us fans, you just don't want to leave. Also make sure not to miss out on the butterbeer and the food village where we had a fantastic roast served in a Yorkshire pudding. All the people working there are super friendly and helpful too!

The forest setting here is fantastic and, coupled with the lighting and soundtrack/ characters talking in the background is very atmospheric and the staff were very friendly. However, as usual when events are done over here they are never done to their full potential, even with a brand as big as Harry Potter. This felt more like an advertisement that the consumer pays for just to sell over priced food and merch as the person that was introducing the event at the start was going into detail about the stalls at each stop and only very briefly mentioning the walks between. I know it's a business, but £5.50 for one of the house hot chocolates which consisted of basic Cadburys powder, whipped cream and sprinkles depending on the house you choose, is ridiculous. On the walk there are actually few things relating to Harry Potter than you'd expect and the quality of models that are there of people and animals you'd maybe expect to find in Blackpool. There are a few interactive elements along the way but are more proximity activated rather than being truly interactive. Aragog's lair and the projection at the end were the only bits that stood out and because of this the event felt flat. Not so much an experience, more like a walk through. Considering how much entry costs much more should be done. Definitely not worth the entry fee.

I have to say given the high praise of this experience we were pretty disappointed. Although the experience itself was pretty and a nice evening out it was not worth the three hour commute, the cost of staying near by over night or the ticket prices. The over priced food and drinks equally added salt to the wound. I planned this trip for my partners birthday as it was recommended as being 'on-par' to the Harry Potter studios and it honestly wasn't. I can't deny it was pretty in the night as all the lights were really well done it was just extremely over priced for what was realistically a walk in the woods with a few things to look at. There were some interactive spell casting experiences but the queues were ridiculous and not worth waiting to wave a stick in the air. I really wanted to enjoy this but having paid so much for this trip I just left feeling robbed of my time and money. It was also advertised as having gluten free food available but having looked around all the stalls it seemed all that was available was a hot chocolate and chips which again were all extortionate given the already costly ticket prices. It's saving grace was the staff, everyone was really helpful, polite and seemed happy to be there which made the experience better. I think if you live locally and £45 per person isn't a big deal for you then it's worth it, otherwise I'd find something else to spend your hard earned money on!
