Super cinema, spacious seats, and a place to comfortably pop that glass of wine! Definitely recommend it rather than any other cinema 🎥

Spacious, comfortable, plush, adjustable seats with lots of legroom. Small cinema and view good from everywhere, even the front row ok. Cups of tea & coffee are available to take into the cinema & and G&T too if you desire. Good programme & details of films posted weekly on Instagram.

Fab little cinema, proper bar, comfortable seats, little tables in-between the seats, good selection of films - some more unusual ones too. Overall highly recommended.

Really chic, intimate cinema. Very comparable pricing to large chain. However, don't watch Poor Things with parents... DO NOT

This is a quaint little cinema, and harks back to the old days. The server was professional and polite. The food, though not a huge selection, it had the usual food. Popcorn (which was quite tasty), crisps and drinks. Inside the cinema, it was clean and the seats were comfy. So overall a good experience. Would recommend a visit, if you want something a little different.

Watching Talking Heads at the Filmhouse felt like being at a live concert. The sound system was incredible, the seats were super comfy and being able to have a glass of wine at the same time was great, although the drinks were pricey. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyable trip out to watch a French film with my daughters. No wife as she hates subtitles. Nice comfy seats and nice easy process to access the cinema. Be back again soon.

Fantastic little cinema spread over a few buildings, they show independent films and have good snacks. What more could you want?

Love it, one of the best things about Northampton! Comfy seats, snacks, great choice of new, old and alternative movies - love it!

Went for first time yesterday to see a film. I thought it was a lovely place with plenty of room & comfortable seats. My only issue was that the sound was too loud especially music. I found it quite uncomfortable & had to plug my ears with a paper hanky throughout the whole film! This would negate me ever going to see anything musical. I haven’t been to any cinema for many years so not sure if this volume is normal but being a small theatre I found it too much.

First time visiting to watch John Wick 4. Very comfortable reclining chairs in a cosy auditorium. Friendly and helpful staff. Will visit again!

A very cool cinema theatre with comfortable reclining seats (the backs of the seats tilt back, it isn’t a full recliner with foot rest). Very clean. Friendly staff. Toilets are in the main building, downstairs, so go before the movie starts! There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor in the main building.

First visit yesterday, loved it, and will go again as there's a great selection of films (not just the mainstream stuff the big cinemas show) & it's a lovely environment.

Really enjoyed visiting this cinema. Travelled from London to meet a friend to see Whitney. Great comfy seats, good choice of gin and snacks. Cozy cinema.

Love this cinema, lovely big comfy, cosy leather reclining seats, not the biggest of places, but has 2 screens, always friendly staff, and always clean, went tonight to see Otto, ticket was £9. Definitely recommend, park just a couple of minutes walk away in the multi storey, so car stays dry & not frosty when you come out.

Northampton Filmhouse continues to show an incredible range of top quality films and provide a perfect environment in which to enjoy them!

Great smart small cinema with 2 separate screens. Comfortable chairs with opportunity to have an alcoholic drink or other hot drink to take in with you as small table between seats. Friendly staff. Cinema feels more luxurious & ' grown up'. A much nicer experience than some other local cinemas.

Always love a glass of wine and a movie night here. So comfortable, it's a Cinema house for grown ups! Wine space next to the seats and actually a little bit like a wine bar experience because it's part of the theatre. Little bar as you go in serving plenty of options. Can be a little difficult to book though as it's so popular. We did need something more intimate than the huge cinema houses in Northampton. The Weston Favell art house cinema The Forum is also great but not at this level of sophistication. I highly recommend!
