I cannot recommend Mr Shaaban and his team more highly. Arranging my appointment was simple, the ladies on reception are so friendly and helpful - and so welcoming every time you visit. The hospital is easy to find, parking is ample and it is beautifully presented. From my initial consultation I felt completely at ease (I immediately cancelled the others I had arranged). Mr Shabaan is extremely thorough and conscientious. He is helpful but will not make your decisions for you - they remain yours - but he will support you in coming to the best ones to suit your needs. The support that Lynn offers throughout the process is invaluable, she is there from start to finish and her care is second to none - everything she says she will do she does, and some. She goes above and beyond. On the day of my surgery I was extremely well looked after, and I was discharged later that day. The nurses and theatre staff who cared for me were incredible. The aftercare has, and continues to be excellent. I am absolutely delighted with my surgical outcome and wouldn’t hesitate to encourage others to choose Aset Hospital. I cannot thank every one I have had the pleasure of meeting enough.

After reading the reviews for Aset I decided to use this hospital. From the first phone call talking to Abigail I was put at ease. The staff in this hospital are so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Carla rubbing my back when I was ill in the toilet feeling a little sorry for myself, to the amazing surgeon Mr khan and Kelly and Lynn putting my mind at rest, and the other staff that were on hand to help. The after care is out of this world. I am now 4 weeks post surgery and feel amazing. Anyone thinking of a breast reduction definitely think of using this hospital with such a great team

I want to commend all of the staff at Aset Hospital. Easy to arrange a first consultation with Abigail, regular contact throughout, Doctor Shaaban listened to my wants and needs, Lynn was so supportive and there throughout the whole process. Before I made my decisions, everyone was available to give any advice. Doctor Shaaban’s amazing reputation already speaks for itself, but he truly is a surgical magician. Jess the nurse and the healthcare assistants was really supportive the morning and informative before the surgery. Doctor Abdul the anaesthetist came to see me prior to going down for the anaesthetic to settle any anaesthesia worries. After the surgery, the staff were really helpful in getting me home as soon as possible, the wound check was arranged and thorough. From start to finish, the care was outstanding. I also want to thank any theatre staff that I did not see and all those working behind the scenes to make this such an outstanding hospital. Thank you so much, you’ve changed my life.

The whole team at Aset were amazing from start to finish. I was particularly nervous about my operation and they made me feel really comfortable. Just over a week post op and I couldn't be happier with the results and have had a great recovery so far which is a testament to Dr Khan's work.

I really wanted to take time to write this review as cosmetic surgery is such a massive undertaking, and it's important that people are told about excellent practice.  From the  outset, the care and attention from every member of the Aset Hospital team has been outstanding.  Dr Azhar Iqbal, the surgeon, and Abigail, the patient coordinator, did their utmost to help schedule my operations at a time that worked best for me.  Pre-op checks were always done on time and the nurses who checked me, Kelly and Sharon, were warm, reassuring and endlessly patient with my many, many questions.  I was also contacted by Lynn Smith, the emotional well-being  counsellor, who provided emotional support at no extra cost.  It was made clear that this emotional support was readily available at any time, should I have required it.  Lynn rang me a few days after my op. to check on my mood and was very knowledgeable, warm and friendly. On the day of the operation, every member of staff was so thorough and meticulous with checks, procedures, etc., while being very humane in their approach to my nervousness before and discomfort after the operation.  I had a full high SMAS facelift, with fat transfer, and a tummy tuck.  These were both fairly extensive surgical procedures and the after care was excellent.  The two nurses (Sharon and Sharon!) who tended to me during the first night after my operation were patient and very compassionate.  The doctor who checked me twice through the night and again in the morning was very thoughtful and thorough.  After the operation, I was able to speak to an expert nurse at any time.  One nurse even rang me during her time off and gave me her personal number to contact her at any time (though I obviously never did).  I have received no end of compliments about Dr Iqbal's work and several friends are planning to have procedures.  I cannot recommend Dr Iqbal highly enough.  His work is outstanding, and his manner is friendly and very humble.  I will, no doubt, be using the services and staff of this hospital in the future.

Well what can I say about this unbelievable place. After having previous surgery with a "well known" hospital many years ago and thinking it was great at the time I now realize I was treated like a product on a conveyer belt. Fast forward to my time with Aset hospital. From the first email enquiry to now 2 days post op with Mr Khan I can honestly say Aset and every single member of the team have been nothing but exceptional, professional,personable, reassuring, always available and genuinely kind and caring. I could carry on but I would run out of adjectives!. Abby and the reception staff are fantastic and so welcoming with a friendly smile every time the door opens. Nurses Carla and Sharon and the wonderful health care staff who looked after me during my stay were just amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. I even woke up to birthday banners, a card and birthday cake with a beautiful rendition of "happy birthday" being serenaded to me...I mean you don't get that anywhere else, it wasn't like being in hospital at all, it really was a home from home. Following discharge home I was suffering alot with pain, and true to their word they have been available 24 hours a day for advice. Kelly, thank you for being so patient, amazing and cheering me on at all hours of the day and night, calling and making sure I was ok it really is appreciated. And Mr Irfhan Khan and the surgical team. You have changed my life. I haven't even seen myself without my dressings yet but even with swelling and dressings in place I cried when I saw myself for the first time. The first time in 10 years I didn't feel sad when I looked in the mirror. I felt incredible, like I should have looked all this time. It's early days but I honestly can't thank you enough, I will now at the age of 33 finally be able to wear a bikini with confidence! And not feel self conscious 24/7. Something which has been on my bucket list for many years. I have already recommended this incredible place to ALOT of people and I don't feel like any review would ever do it justice in conveying just how excellent the care is but if anyone reading this is considering any other hospitals, don't bother, Aset really are the gold standard with no other hospital coming close in comparison! I have recently had breast surgery with Mr. Chandrashekar at Aset Hospital and I can honestly say the whole experience from beginning to end was outstanding! Having had numerous consultations over recent years and not feeling comfortable with proceeding anywhere else the attention to detail and level of care and patience Mr Chandrashekar shows is second to none. He is such a perfectionist at every stage of the process. He has such a lovely manner and goes above and beyond at every consultation or appointment and nothing is ever too much for him. He really is very knowledgeable and experienced therefore his advice was always a massive help to me. The facilities at Aset are so spotlessly clean and every single member of staff I came into contact with was friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for me during my appointments and my surgery stay. From Theatre staff to ward staff I was made to feel so comfortable and relaxed and like I was the only patient they had to care for. In particular Abigail was so approachable, personable and helpful and was always contactable whenever I needed her for any questions or queries. I am so happy I chose Mr Chandrashekar and Aset Hospital to have my surgery.

I had a very friendly welcoming experience from my first appointment by the reception staff especially from Abigail who has been on hand from start to finish. My first meeting was with Karen Bates Hospital Manager, who listened and gave advice on treatments and procedures. In addition to this she suggested an eye massage to try before considering surgery. Sharon was the first nurse I saw for an aesthetic treatment. Sharon was extremely friendly and professional and for a second treatment she came into work on her day off to carry out an eye massage treatment for my step daughters wedding. Proving to go more than the extra mile. For which I am forever grateful. Mr Khan was my chosen surgeon who took great care to ensure I understood every step of the procedure including all the risks. He was very professional and caring, he understood and addressed all my concerns. He provided all the information required for before and after surgery including taking care of the wounds. The day before my surgery Lynn Smith, Emotional Well-Being Practitioner, contacted me to make sure I was feeling up to the procedure from a well being perspective. She took time to listen to all my concerns and re-assured me she was on hand at any time if I felt the need to discuss any issues before and after surgery. On admission the very lovely Carla took great care of me and introduced me to the anaesthetist who was very friendly and explained about the anaesthesia. Together they put me at ease before going into surgery. Mr Khan also came to see me before surgery and reassured me making me feel very calm and positive before the procedure took place. After surgery Carla was continually on hand and provided the utmost care with a very calming and friendly manner giving her advice on how to take care of my wounds. Mr Khan came to see me post- op informing me how the procedure had gone which was lovely and filled me with positive thoughts about the outcome of the surgery. Since the procedure Lynn Smith has been in touch to ensure I am okay and if there was anything I needed from her to get in touch. I also had another appointment with Sharon to carry out a wound check, I could not have asked for more specialist advice and care. I cannot thank all the staff enough for all the advice and support and would strongly recommend Aset Hospital if anyone is considering their services.

It’s been 2.5 weeks since my operation at Aset. The staff made every effort to make sure my pre and post surgical experience was second to non. I highly recommend Helena at aset she’s an excellent surgeon and is very professional. I was offered Lynn who is the Emotional Well-being Practitioner from Aset who would call me throughout my recovery and when I booked my surgery. Lynn was a big help with putting my mind at ease and when i had to rearrange my surgery due to a UTI. Every effort was made by all staff at Aset to make sure I was seen ASAP. The nurses and surgical team where very professional and caring towards me. After my surgery Helena came to see me and check I was not in any pain and everything was 100% as it should be before I was discharged to go home.

Excellent hospital, I had the best care off every member of staff. The nurses were attentive, caring and patient . Consultants were informative and answered all my questions with patience and consideration. The rooms are lovely, clean and peaceful. I can’t recommend enough and I’d like to thank all the staff for looking after me so well .

Excellent patient care all the staff are amazing staff are on hand at any time of the day even after discharge mr shaaban is amazing at what he does my results speak for themselves can’t believe the results And they keep getting better Kelly is amazing at what she does too absolute gorgeous person so caring the whole team are amazing. What a fantastic hospital. I’ve just had a mini tummy tuck and breast implant replacement here with JJ Staiano (I will write a separate review for this excellent surgeon) I have had terrible experiences in the past with private hospitals but this one is truly world class. Every member of staff I came into contact with was lovely and nothing was to much trouble. The food was really good and loads of options for vegetarians. The anaesthetist was brilliant, she put me at ease straight away and I could have chatted with her all day, she also did a great job of knocking me out!!. All of the staff truly seem to have the patient at the heart of everything they do. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable visit

Following an extended tummy tuck by Mr khan and breast uplift & implant by Mr Shaaban (3/7/23) I can honestly say the experience and surgical outcome has been fantastic. On the day of surgery I was welcomed by the friendly reception team and taken to the ward, where I was looked after by the nursing staff (Irene, Liesel, Mirela, Jess & Alex) and theatre staff, the care was outstanding. After care has continued to be of the same high standard. Lynn (Emotional well-being practitioner) has been there for me from the start of my journey and is always happy to help.
