I attended the Wellbeing Event in the Halls. It's a big church, there were lots of stalls. Tea coffee was being served at some tables at the back of the church, but it wasn't a very inviting area - far, far too busy and noisy. There were LOTS of lovely stalls and a wide range of different products, from palm reading, crystal stones, sound treatments, massage, scented candles cards, soaps, life coaching, spiritual jewellery, hippie style clothing and many more. I found the atmosphere ( just a personal comment) far too loud and noisy for me personally... it wasn't relaxing at all. Thus I didn't manage to find it in myself to get involved in any of the treatments, though I went there thinking that I would. There were talks too... but the information wasn't clear and I only found out about them as I was planning to leave and was walking out at the end of my visit. It was a great FREE event, I totally recommend visiting any event held at these Halls to anyone interested in wellbeing or any sort of spiritual or witch crafty things or when any other event is talking place. The Halls is an events space: I believe there is a whole array of events being held here weekly, from, plays, music, singing, etc etc. There is a Halls website, I would recommend you visit the website to find out what's on and if there's any entrance fees as I'm sure other events do charge. Actually I personally called them, very friendly staff... highly recommend this place.

A stunning venue only made more beautiful by a candlelight concert... Closest parking is St Andrews car park a couple of minutes walk away, and only a couple of minutes from the city centre. Lots of places to eat and drink near by. The Halls are located in a very historic part of the city.

Went to an awards ceremony last night for First Home Improvements. Brilliant night, awesome food, awesome service. Free bar 🍸 😁 and the entertainment was epic especially when they came out into the crowd to sing and dance with us all 👏👏

Hans ZImmer sting quartet by candle light. What an incredible experience. Kmmersed in amazing sounds presented with an astonishing skill level. A beautiful, emotional evening.

What a delightful venue! Ancient Halls around every corner! We attended a music event in the biggest hall and the acoustics were good. Most of the seats were on the flat, though, so a bit tricky to see all of the stage. Good bar extended to a vacant Hall selling wine and cans. More than sufficient very helpful volunteers. Good, modern toilets. Other Halls are used for corporate events and meetings.

I loved this festival held in a lovely building, had a really nice atmosphere about it. The bar staff were all really friendly and happy to help with recommendations, their choices were on point, mine not so much!! Prices wasn't to bad, and was well organised with covid checks etc. Would love to go again, especially now I'm a CAMRA member!

What an incredible venue. We were fortunate to be married there last Monday. These guys pulled out all the stops to make sure our day was special. Claire was excellent with her communication, keeping me updated and responding quickly. Paul managed to make the place look beautiful. Highly recommended venue with no stresses. Very grateful indeed. 💕♥️

Went to a cider and sausage festival. 17.50 for entry. Building very attractive but 17.50 for sitting in the cold, I thought we would be able to sample bits of sausage and cider. Ciders and sausages were 6.50 and 7.00. Our group left our 5 hour slot and went on pub crawl. The pricing was greedy. Will not be attending next year.

I went for a vintage clothing sale that I thoroughly enjoyed as a reseller, it was great and as a venue. The halls was abnormally welcoming providing a great church aesthetic while still being warm and somewhat homely something other converted churches struggle with. Truly it manages to embrace a somewhat obsolete building having converted it into something that will be used rather than being knocked down and turned into some 1960s tateless eye saw.

The musicians were fantastic and the acoustic sound of the Halls were really good. That made for a great evening. This is the second Fever Concert by candlelight I have been to and I will be coming back for more.

My wife and I returned to our youth, and attended a 70's, 80's, 90's "Disco". We had an absolutely brilliant time, boogying & reminiscing back to our good ole' days. I would highly recommend it, and will be going again.

A Shambles would describe the seating and entry to The Halls, people expecting allocated seating, seats behind pillars and no exits at the ends of the row making movement difficult at best. Thankfully, the very accomplished musicians of the Daniel Martinez Flamenco tour soothed the savage beasts and calm descended. I wonder what it will be like trying to leave! A great venue for some events but not others, pick your event carefully and arrive early if you want to get a good seat

A gorgeous old building was transformed for the Ibiza Classic Night.

Beer festival 2023! Little quieter this year but whether that because its a Tuesday or the heavy rain earlier in the day who knows. What I know is its a great venue for this and there's a great selection of beers and ciders on offer.

I went to a charity choir and orchestra concert. Acoustics were amazing as is the architecture of this building. Was a truely fabulous experience. A great place for social events.

I was visiting the halls to attend a gaming market and really enjoyed it. My only gripe being that inside it was really warm (it was the hottest day of the year so far) and it would have been more comfortable if they had opened some windows or something to keep it cooler.

Went to a music event there and because it was a seated event you had a load of grumpy old people telling you off because you were singing. I felt sorry for the band because of this - imagine performing to a 'dead' audience.. We ended up leaving our seats and going off to the side so we could enjoy, sing and dance. What I would recommend to the venue is have the pull out bench seats at the back for people who want to sit and use the front seated part as a standing area, so the people that actually go to enjoy the music can feel comfortable and make a better amotsphere.

Great atmosphere. Parking not too far away. Met some lovely people at the MBS Fayre.

For the many podcast. The first picture was miles before the event started. The second focuses on the presenters. Lots of atmosphere and history. Not all pictures on the walls were of men. Bar allowed me to get served some lemonade (I was driving).

A beautiful venue, with a friendly and helpful team. I've been lucky enough to attend a few events here recently, and the atmosphere have been amazing. This is definitely a unique setting, and one which makes an evening all the more special.

We went to see 'Bye Bye baby (Frankie Valli) as a Christmas treat from a friend. We parked at the Monastery car park minutes away, which was a bonus. The greeting staff were friendly, the drinks were reasonable and you could pre order half time drinks before the show started. Hot mulled wine was on offer, which was a nice touch. The show was great, although the band was louder than the singers in the first half. That was a pity. The second half of the show was festive. Seating was well marked, but all one level so problematic if the person in front is tall. Really enjoyed it though. Lovely venue
