The ladies here are amazing. They take the time to listen and advise on bespoke requirements. I have had bangles soldered so I don’t lose them. They reset my engagement ring so I can wear it again and they have made two beautiful bespoke pendants from sentimental pieces of Jewellery. I am so glad I found Monty’s. Thank you both so much.

I took a pearl and bead necklace to Monty’s earlier this year. Although not valuable, it was a much loved piece which was in a bad way. The people at Monty’s researched and obtained replacement beads, made the necklace slightly longer to be more suitable for me, and restrung it. I’m highly delighted with the outcome. They are also in the process of revaluing some of my jewellery for insurance purposes, and quickly mended a bracelet. Would highly recommend.

I had 2 rings custom made from some old gold & diamond jewellery. Johanna worked really closely with me to get the exact design & feel that I wanted. The process was so exciting, seeing her design talent & creativity come to life with ideas that I had given her. I’m delighted with the new pieces that I now have, knowing they have been recycled is extra special. When I needed some after sales TLC after I had bashed one of the pieces up a bit, she came to the rescue & fixed it. The service is excellent, Johanna is an amazing goldsmith & jewellery maker. What amazing customer service! I was looking for a very specific pair of earrings for my 14 year old granddaughter. I found Monty's stall at the Christmas market and although they didn't have what I wanted they suggested I visit their store in the City Centre - a 7 minute walk away. By the time I arrived the staff had already sorted some amethyst chips for me and said they would make some earrings if I was happy to wait, which I did. And all for £20! Excellent product and superb customer service. 5 ⭐.

Having inherited some diamond and opal rings I decided the best thing to do would be to have them remade into a piece of jewellery that I could wear. I took them into Monty's with an idea of the style of bracelet I wanted. The designer there sketched her thoughts which looked 'spot on'. A few weeks later I was presented with the perfect bracelet. What a wonderful little jewellers this is in the centre of Exeter. It was recommended by a friend for repairs. They have now reset a ruby in my gold ring and shortened a bracelet... both jobs were undertaken excellently and at reasonable prices. The staff are lovely, very friendly and so helpful. Last time I was in the shop I was shown an ingenious way to more easily do up my bracelet. They sell a wonderful selection of jewellery, in a range of prices so there's something for every pocket. If you haven't visited them yet take a look. You'll be amazed and delighted.

I have been going into Monty’s for years now. Not only is the shop lovely with so many gorgeous pieces, the Monty’s team are so friendly and happy to help. I have also had some repairs/ring resizings done which have always been to such a high standard and really reasonably priced. The pieces stay on site which is very reassuringly and it meant they could be altered throughout to make sure the fit was perfect. Can’t recommend them enough!!!

I have been getting bespoke work done from them for about three years now. Value ranging from £25 to £300. They offer excellent advice on my own ideas, never belittling any offbeat suggestion I make or saying something can't be done. Actually, they don't know the word 'impossible'! One of my favourite places. Visiting them is like having a birthday without the getting older. AND, after all that, they are not expensive. Just excellent.

We have had a few jobs done at Monty’s and couldn’t be happier! A few months back we took in my late Grandma’s charm bracelet and asked if Monty’s could turn it from one very full bracelet into three separate bracelets. Not only did they do that perfectly but they also cleaned everything so well! The original bracelet can’t have been cleaned in over 30 years but it came back good as new! I’ve recently had two rings resized and they are beautiful. There’s no sign of damage on them and the price was more than reasonable for the job. The people who work there are super talented in what they do, and they’re also just lovely people. Really friendly. Oh and the shop is full of really nice pieces. I don’t think I’m ever able to go in there without buying something!

I’ve had numerous excellent jewellery experiences with Monty’s Jewellery in Exeter. They made a bespoke beautiful pearl ring for my mum, which she was thrilled with, drilled & handmade settings for some crystal pendants for me & also supply all of my jewellery findings.They make their own jewellery on sale, & stock a fabulous range of gemstones, rocks & crystals, which I often purchase. Prices are very reasonable too. This company is very professional & person centred. They are all so friendly & offer advice & support with all aspects of their trade. Thank you Monty’s :)

Love this place!! It's full of treasure and definitely worth a visit. We had our chains fixed there and they are quick and efficient and the staff are so friendly. We then recently had rings custom made there and are so pleased with them. Would definitely recommend to go and see this place it's well worth a look in a lovely part of Exeter.
