My husband and I did the premium coffee roasting experience and we had a brilliant time. Barry is very knowledgeable and passionate about his coffee, we learnt so much (whilst drinking a very yummy espresso martini). Got to create and roast our own blend based on our favourite flavours and I can confirm having had it with breakfast this morning, it is amazing! We would highly recommend this experience. I live in the UK, but am not British. From time to time I visit my country of birth where some of my oldest friends live. One of which got me interested in coffee as a hobby, and as I plan trip back home, I thought "What else would be a better gift than freshly and locally roasted coffee?". I order from Recent Beans quite regularly - I find it to be 5/5 service with quality coffee, very cheap prices compared to the widely available coffee options and this unique personal customer service that is sometimes hard to find in the modern day and age. The only problem I had was that it was 3:45pm Thursday, and I'm flying 1:00pm Saturday, so I entered the chat and asked how viable it would be to receive the coffee sent in mail on Friday/Saturday morning. The response was positive, I just made it in time for 4pm collection, so purchased and forgot about the whole thing... Until 3 hours later when one of the people (apologies if you're reading it, I don't know your name!) turned at the door with my bag of coffee! He travelled for an hour one way to deliver the freshly roasted coffee to my door! Just wanted to give massive shout out to Recent Beans and to the very kind gentleman who delivered it personally! I will definitely be ordering again!

We stopped by to pick up two big bags from the girls here. Very friendly and helpful. The coffee tastes good, one espresso blend, one decaf, both quite nice and rich (I asked for the darkest coffee they had!). Good value, would buy again

Great coffee, great place and friendly knowledgeable people. Worth visiting to try and support your local businesses. I really like your chocolate by the way. Great advice on types of coffee and great to taste some of the speciality coffees in house. Recommended if you're a big coffee lover.

Ordered an advent calendar and super impressed with the quality, care and urgency to get it to customers given the strikes going on. The calendar was sent in two batches a couple weeks apart to ensure maximum freshness too, I appreciate this a lot and have really enjoyed the coffees, thanks again!

These guys are legit. Very impressed so far with our advent calendar, which by the way, gets delivered in two parts because there's no compromise for freshness. Now our favourite source of coffee in the West Yorkshire area.

I have been using Recent Beans for nearly 3 years now, the service is brilliant, you can tell the care, love and passion that is put in. More importantly than that the coffee selection is amazing, in scope and quality. One thing I need to add is that I have had to switch to decaf recently, and i spent ages searching for a decent Instant (to no avail) as our stock of the good stuff was used, then we switched to the Recent Beans decaf, all i can say is wow its amazing!!! So coffee lovers or decaf hunters this is the place for you I honestly can not recommend their service, there decaf or their other coffees enough

Knowledgeable and friendly! I'll definitely be going back for more. They were really helpful going through the variety of beans they sold, trying to match them with my tastes and experience. They were absolutely fantastic, and having a roaster so close to me is brilliant! I had a latte whilst there which was lovely and the coffee beans I purchased are fantastic!

The best coffee around. I have been a returning customer for over two years. These guys are passionate about all things coffee. This means they are both knowledgeable and very helpful when it comes to all things coffee. I don't know about you, but I'd much rather buy from people who are so invested in what they do. This is also a small local enterprise, not a faceless chain...did I mention that the coffee is marvellous 😉
