Leckford Abbas a stately looking hotel with a cottage in its grounds is quiet retreat that offers beautiful grounds, tennis court, library and billiards room and bikes to ride in the beautiful surroundings areas. Very welcoming staff. Nestled in the Hampshire countryside a great spot for exploring nearby areas and attractions. Each day is finished with an outstanding 3 course meal delivered with great customer service and attention. All in all a lovely family break.

Really beautiful place and very friendly staff. My credit card wouldn't work and the receptionist just said come back tomorrow which was very kind and understanding (managed to use another card in the end). We enjoyed a long walk here from the Leckfird Lodges, 9km for the round trip. Beautiful countryside, lovely farm and I feel very privileged to have access

Amazing. Simply amazing. Been twice now, going again for Xmas. Simply stunning. Once the leave the estate go for a long walk, I like walking but the walking over there was criminal. Tiring but exciting. Nice room and the bath shower is explosive. It literally spits out water quick. You could have a bath ready within 5 minutes.

Amazing places great food very very helpful partners get ice for swollen knee could ask for more.

Had a fantastic time stayed very friendly staff.

Acres of Waitrose farmland and holiday accomodation. Highlight is he arboretum between Longstock Nurseries and Water Gardens.

The perfect place to get away from it all and only a two hour drive from home. Our partners working here are doing the Partnership proud. Freindly, courteous and appear to love and take pride in with they do, making our day out ( sadly not a stay) most enjoyable. Having already stayed here earlier this year, we are incredibly grateful and privileged to be able to have access to this place. A perfect Christmas dinner with a welcoming Champagne cocktail.

I met my friend here for lunch as our first time eating out since lockdown eased. The food was overall good quality & mine was good however my friend found a hair in her sandwich so she sent it back politely, they got another & there was then fluff in it, by this point she didn’t really fancy it so went without. Also the replacement sandwich had barely any chicken, in comparison to a first generously filled one. She went inside to be discreet, no offer was made to refund & the staff apologised but no actual effort to rectify, seemed more lip service. She asked for the manager who refunded the whole order, dealt with the situation adequately & was understanding/totally on the ball. The shop & order system inside seemed very organised Covid wise but outside not so; I had to move a previous tray from our table onto a provided clearing table (after 10-15 mins), then when I put our own tray on the clearing table at the end, it hadn’t been cleared so I had to move someone else’s tray aside to make space. Just unnecessary risk to myself & others of passing the virus when it could easily be cleared at regular intervals, not really acceptable in a pandemic. As my friend explained to the manager, we were so pleased to be eating out & it just ruined the experience, we’d far sooner have paid for the meal with everything as it should be. The surroundings are lovely, the drive up is beautiful with flowers, it could be it was just an off day as it wasn’t overly busy so I wouldn’t hasten to return as it would put me off. Thank you to the manager however for her assistance, she couldn’t have done anymore.

Have tried to contact Fishing Manager via phone as well as contacting Leckford estate via email. But they never got back to me. Not very good customer service.
