I would say the best Chinese restaurant I’ve been to in the greater area of Liverpool and Manchester. Authentic Cantonese style Chinese dishes augmented with freshly made dim sum (vs many others from frozen supermarket dim sum) The 3 dishes I was especially impressed - the char siu bao, the light and fluffy wrapper I rarely find eating in the uk; the firm and bouncy texture of the Sichuan style king prawn; and the soft and juicy wok peppered beef. Good food, good wine, coupled with the décor atmosphere and the excellent service, a very enjoyable eating experience.

Fantastic food. You can tell it'll be quality when the place is busy like a bee hive. Staff wonderful and couldn't do enough for you. The tastiest duck spring rolls I've ever had and inch thick prawn toast with actual prawns! Record breaking king prawns were delicious as well. Food was hot , fresh and beautifully seasoned with punches of different flavours coming through. I will definitely be returning here. Nice place to celebrate our anniversary with food and service I shan't forgot! Long may your business reign ✌️

Food was delicious!! Thoroughly enjoyed everything we had! We were a large group for a birthday, caterered to all veggie, vegans & meat eaters! It was a busy Friday night, I did feel the atmosphere was slightly loud - you know when everyone is shouting over each other / the music. Also there seemed to be one main lady as host server who had everything to point and correct but she was stretched thin around the whole room. I felt there needed to be another of her serving as we kept needed something but she was clearly rushed off her feet. Wait on drinks on arrival but not for the food.

Hidden gem! Great food and service 5* friendly staff, highly recommended. Photos don't do it justice, but food was fresh, tasty and could be adapted. Lots of choice, gluten-free and vegan selection menu too (veg, tofu or mock meat) It was really busy on a random Wednesday night, all food looked great. Found this place on Google maps as a friend recently moved into the area (would have missed it if just driving past as it's set back).

Will definitely return. Nice looking place, and nice food. Was done as a buffet, but rather than have food waiting on warm trays, they do it fresh as an order. Keep ordering more and more, all under the buffet price of £30 (before drinks) One of the few buffet places that does char siu bao in the price too

First time visit - being taken out for my birthday! Excellent meal from the banquet - good selection of tasty starters with more than enough for five from four meals. My wife and I shared the Tao curry and lemon chicken with fried rice and noodles. Again, large portions and delicious! Service was professional and friendly with food delivered at a nice pace. Not cheap but worth it perhaps for a special occasion - certainly recommended and I'll go again (when someone else is paying)!

Amazing place for a meal! All the dishes was delicious and very unique! The Japing signature dish was superb - a MUST TRY! Enjoyed the black pepper beef, the TAO curry and the seasonal vegetables. They Ben gave us a complimentary prawn crackers and puddling that was delicious as well! Very kind and wonderful service, No wonder that they have such a high rating! ! Fully deserved!!

Best Chinese food I've ever had! Crispy chilli beef was outstanding! All 9 people who came to the meal were in complete agreement! Don't think I can go back to regular chinese meals again, can't wait to try the other dishes!

As a family that includes two vegans we were delighted by the number of choices and the keenness of the owners and their staff to make everyone feel welcome. We had the Sunday Feast and the food was exquisite and plentiful, it is clear that customer satisfaction is more important than penny pinching. Even though the restaurant was very busy we didn’t feel rushed at any point, in fact I found the service far superior to that I received in a London Michelin starred restaurant last week. My son has autism and we were initial concerned about the noise in the restaurant (it was full and busy) but the quality of the food overruled his desire for quiet. Indeed he rated the restaurant 9.5 out of 10. In short this has to be the best Chinese restaurant in the NW. Thanks to the whole team for making our evening and first visit to Tao awesome.

I really cant say anything bad about the food. At first I wanted to give it maybe 4 stars cause yes the food was really, really nice. But for the price the portions could be slightly bigger, but even then I would be stretching it to take away a star. Service was really nice and attentive, could also be cause the restaurant isn't huge. Music wasn't too loud so it was easy to speak to each other. My only problem and even then it's a really small problem was the size of the tables. You order meat and veggies for example, and it comes with with a serving of rice or noodles on separate plate. You have two people doing the same and you quickly run out of space on the table. Was it bad? Not really. More like annoying. Even then can really recommend the place.

Awarded "Best Restaurant 2022" in Warrington by the readers of Warrington Guardian. I should stop here, but there are more to say: Always welcomed with a smile, all the staff make you feel like home. Actually no. They will make you feel like of you were invited in their home, for a family meal. The food is freshly homemade by high skills chefs, service is amazingly friendly and they are here to help and answer questions regarding the menu.

Came here for the first time tonight and it was amazing. It was very busy but all the staff were attentive and delightful. The Sunday buffet is well worth the value and everything tasted great. I highly recommend the lychee majito too which is probably one of the nicest cocktails I've ever had! Will be here again soon 😊
