Attractive and well appointed tennis club in Central Redland, with beautifully finished hard courts and some AstroTurf courts too. Resident professional offers restringing. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, and new members are welcome. This club offers 'casual membership' on a pay as you go basis, but if you play regularly you'll want to join as a full member.

I have been attending this gym for over 2 years now and i am a very happy member. All the staff are extremely friendly from Managers to cleaning staff. The early opening times fit in with my work schedule and occasional sessions with the experienced PTs have helped me overcome physical barriers through injury. This gym combines practicality with professionalism and friendliness and would recommend to any gym goers whether novice or experienced.

This is a great tennis club but sadly I don't use it for that purpose. I use the gym as its on my way to dropping the kids off at school so convenient. Its a basic gym, but they've put in all the equipment you need for a good work out. Its not high tech but it all works. I have sent my kids there for tennis courses during the holidays which were brilliantly run and would recommend highly. My kids hate any sport so I was surprised that they only complained 1 out of 5 days that they didn't want to go - which for me was a huge success!

An excellent club and would be even better with an EV car charger

The gym is very small and basic. A lot of the equipment is old and poorly maintained. No one wipes down the equipment or cleans there are dirty tissues and cotton wol buds in drinks holders, just grim. Recent refurb reduced treadmills from 3 to 2. Impossible to access cardio machines during peak times as physio and running club reserve machines with signs and ask you to get off equipment. It is very dirty as no regular cleaners. Lot's of students who hog weight machines and sit there for ages on their mobile phones. After a series of complaints we decided to cancel our membership and join another gym. Our new gym is fantastic and includes classes, swimming and racket sports and it is the same price. Almost all the classes are an extra fee ontop of your monthly membership. It's impossile to access the floor mat area now and there is space for 2 people. Unless the room is empty opposite you can't do any floor work I wish I had cancelled a long time ago. Only stayed because it was so local. The reception staff are a mixed bag, some are amazing and friendly but there a couple who are so rude and need some social skills training. The personal trainers are nice especially Christian. You get so used to using rickety machines with broken bolts that it becomes the norm until you try a new gym with high tech equipment that is so smooth and going to the gym is a total dream. Don't waste your money on this gym unless you live very local and you also play tennis or squash and only use it as an add on.

With the onset of the corporates it is nice to have a club run by members for members. The club is active, friendly and provides great squash and tennis for players of all ages, abilities and sizes. Membership is inexpensive costing around £37 a month for free squash, tennis and club house usage for a year. A must for enthusiasts.

Great local gym. Has everything you need at an affordable price and a non macho/body building atmosphere (which is what I like). Facilities are very clean and staff super friendly.

I would not describe this club as particularly friendly. As with many clubs there are advantages in belonging to a clique and this makes Redland Green no different. Who knows where this years Wimbledon tickets went for example? I have been a member for over a year with my family and each of us, including my young kids have been met with hostility at times, usually by a couple of older women that seem to man the desk from time to time, not something they should be allowed to do without some training in customer interaction. The feeling is often that you are an interloper. I understand the club is trying to generate more revenue. Even without there being many tennis players playing the car park is full. Vans, spaces rented out to third parties and groups booking in to meet in the club house but not sports players. The courts are a useful facility especially if you are left alone to use them but there is no special feeling of membership just that your fees are contributing to the rest of the club.

Lovely patio area for drinks and watching tennis on a summer's evening. Very friendly club with a range of tennis surfaces. We played on the hardcourts which were very high bouncing. I would recommend to the club higher fencing as players with big smashes inevitably lost their tennis balls into nettles and high grass

Great squash club, with 6 courts, 20 internal boxes and men's and ladies league teams. Best club in Bristol! Now with additional 2 Padel courts.
