This is the most impressive place that I have eaten in the whole of Shetland. The portions were perfect and the cleanliness and professionalism that was put in to this small, yet plentiful menu is of high standards. A bit more on the expensive side, but the quality of the food matches that price tag well. All sourced locally too. 💯

Do not miss an opportunity to eat here while in Lerwick! The food was absolutely gorgeous, truly exceptional. We had the 9hr beef brisket and the hake. Sweet Jesus what a meal! Great drinks options and the staff were so perceptive and friendly. Great to see very young staff that are so capable.

Best place to eat in Lerwick!! Service is very good, food is excellent and all locally sourced, been quite a few times and yet to be disappointed, The Sunday lunch is delicious and the gravy sublime 😋

Quite simply one of the best Sunday roast dinners I've ever had. Perfect. And yes, it's worth the money.

We ate here for lunch and it was great! Really interesting menu with a lot of thought put in. The food was great, obviously prepared on site and with good quality ingredients. I think we all had difficulty choosing what to eat - that is a good thing!

Excellent menu with freshly and flavorfully prepared food. Quite creative and delicious takes on some of the standard Shetland fare. Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. After dinner I headed upstairs where they have an equally lovely cocktail lounge for a pre or post dinner drink too.

Visited Lerwick between Christmas and New Year so wasn't sure what would be open. This place was a real find. Be warned that dinner time here in winter follows the Nordic tradition, i.e late afternoon is the norm. Food service stops early, like 7.30pm. Food was superb. Not currently licensed but an excellent wine shop nearby.

Lovely meal, really enjoyed it. Liked that you were able to see into the kitchen and see your food being made. Wee shame they don't currently have a license to sell alcohol. Would definitely recommend a visit

Yes. Really nice atmosphere. The staff got me seated straight away without booking. Seafood Linguine to die for. Perfect prawns, mussels and squid with the perfectly cooked pasta. Lovely all round lunch. Will recommend to all. Thanks

Had a quick lunch here after our shore excursion with Princess. It is easy to find, just walk straight ahead from Victoria Pier, straight across the pedestrian crossing and through a narrow alley that leads to Commercial St. and the restaurant is on your right. Cozy, little place, so you might want to reserve a table when a cruise ship is in town. The food was as good as the reviews suggested: fresh, delicious and plentiful. The staff were kind and attentive. We loved our short, but sweet visit to Lerwick and the Shetlands, would love to visit again. ❤️

If you come to Lerwick, you must go to No 88. The food is stunning and the staff are delightful. The scallops are melt in the mouth and should be tried. The mains were beautifully cooked and presented and the deserts rounded everything off to perfection.

No 88 Kitchen and Bar, Lerwick. Visited this restaurant mid week and it was busy and lively.  Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We had three courses all of which were very nice and left us full and satisfied. They use and advertise local produce.  No problem recommending this when in Lerwick, but book ahead of time.

Stopped in for a quick bite and a beer. I've been traveling in Scotland for over a week and these were easily the best fish and chips I've had, complete with mushy peas! A bit crowded with a cruise ship in town, but worth it! Super friendly and attentive staff!
