    I have started Yoga for the first time recently. I find it really enjoyable and very helpful. Kathy is a great teacher and helps everyone to go at their own pace. I fully recommend giving yoga a try and this is a great place to do it.

    Kathy at One Mindful Yoga has helped me with my journey in the practising and understanding of yoga. I have suffered for many years with lower back pain and with her guidance and teaching it has significantly decreased. Highly recommend this teacher!

    I've been going to Kathy's calming Yoga classes for a while now, because they have a warm and welcoming atmosphere and I find I really need a class to keep me engaged and do the practice that I enjoy. I truly believe that my stress and anxiety get lowered because of going and it's also a nice mixed-gender group to boot. Well recommended!

    I started Yoga recently after hearing Kathy's classes were highly recommended. The classes are set in a warm, welcoming environment and cover different aspects of Yoga practices. Kathy is a great teacher and therapist, I find the breathing practices useful in dealing with the stresses or work/life and look forward to the classes each week.

    I’ve been attending yoga therapy classes on a weekly basis for a year now. Each session is so informative and is increasing my knowledge of Yoga. In turn my health has improved and I feel fitter, calmer and happier. Kathy always gives so much to each person attending and is such a positive influence and so knowledgeable. Can’t recommend her enough! 🌸💝

    By far the best yoga class I have ever been to. I love Kathy's holistic approach, her enthusiasm is infectious, she is a brilliant and knowledgeable teacher taking time to explain the practice and what it means, she really cares. Kathy has given me the motivation to practice yoga at home because I can feel the benefit in my movement, ability and breathing. I feel lucky to have found her.

    I've loved the introductory classes in Kathy's home studio - a warmly welcoming, intimate space for learning yoga movement and mindfulness in a small group. Kathy is an amazing teacher for beginners, sharing her years of experience and deep understanding of yoga practice with kindness and laughter.

    I completed the eight week yoga therapy course with Kathy recently and would highly recommend it! The breathing, meditation and relaxation practices I learned have really helped me to manage my stress and anxiety and I now use them in my day to day life. I have learned how to be more mindful as a result. Kathy is a wonderful and kind teacher, explaining the science behind the practices in a simple way really helped me and I can’t recommend her courses enough!

    Kathy's classes are a truly holistic approach to yoga practice. Each week she introduces us to a new concept and takes care to take us through each posture and move, making sure we understand what we're doing. She creates a safe and calming environment with lovely scents and sounds. To be honest I'd happily pay just to lie there for an hour listening! Definitely recommend.

    Sadly i only attended a few of Kathys classes while visiting family in York. But I'm so glad i found her. The practice brought the balance i craved. Kathy brings a calming vibe to the warm, welcoming set up she creates for class. She offered a few consistencies, surya namaskar, optional savasana adjustments, which i find comforting. Thanks for the soothing classes Kathy!

    I’ve been practicing at Kathy’s Monday night Strength session for over 6 months. There is something new to learn each week, Kathy creates a wonderful atmospheric environment and I feel rested and invigorated in equal measure. Can’t recommend enough.

    Best yoga classes. I was used to a yoga classes that were a bit intimidating. This was a breath of fresh air - Kathy is very knowledgeable, kind and encouraging for everyone to build on their own practice. You’ll get lots of laughs in the class!

    I love Kathy's classes - she is a great teacher. Kathy teaches us new postures each week and always tries to stretch us, but not in an impossible way. There is a really positive , kind and friendly feel to our class, and that is all down to Kathy's warmth and dynamism.

    Kathy is a very intuitive and skilful yoga therapist and teacher. Her courses and classes are relaxed and lighthearted, yet she is able to offer a great depth of knowledge into the physiological and neurological benefits of yoga. Would highly recommend Kathy!

    I discovered Kathy's yoga course for stress and anxiety at a time when I really needed it most. I was a little nervous about attending but as soon as I got there, I was able to leave my worries outside. I would always come out of the classes feeling calmer than I arrived. I'd really recommend Kathy's classes, she is a wonderful teacher with a very approachable, gentle and welcoming style.

    More than just a Yoga session. Whether you’re a beginner or a yogi pro, Kathy really helps you to get the most out of the practise. Smaller classes means Kathy can personalise the session to the needs of the group and take the time to perfect positions and alignment, whilst also exploring mindfulness. An hour or 2 with Kathy is an opportunity to take a step back from the stresses and speed of life and truly dedicate time to yourself and own well-being. Kathy is fab and the group is always so friendly and supportive!
