Fantastic new place, fresh ingredients and tasty food. Had the mixed grill, everything was delicious and delicately spiced. The bread here is the best we've had in a Turkish restaurant, very crispy, piping hot with herbs. Service is attentive without being over intrusive. Price is very reasonable. Walsall finally has a decent Turkish place. Will be coming back

Great Turkish food, excellent service and nice atmosphere. We purchased a platter and we were given Turkish bread, hummus, Turkish tea and Turkish rice pudding on the house which was so generous. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive to all your needs. Little hidden gem in Walsall, must try!

It's been a while since I've felt so welcomed somewhere. Can't describe how delicious everything was, how clean the restaurant is and the staff's so friendly and lovely. It's like a hidden gem in Walsall. Can't recommend it enough to our friends and family. We can't wait to come back. Also, the idea of feeding homeless people on Christmas Day for free, almost got me in tears. Amazing idea and such a heart-warming thing to do. Thank you for everything!

Wonderful restaurant with an array of authentic Turkish cuisine. Great ambience. The service was amazing. The fresh Turkish bread, salad and olives made for a delicious appetiser

Would give 6* if possible. Literally the best in the game for Turkish cuisine exactly like turkey not kind of. Had the sea bas and the fish was cooked to perfection and definitely very fresh will have you returning, been 3 times past week

Visited this new turkish restaurant in town with my family. I highly recommend it. Its been a while since I had a very good Turkish dinner. As soon as you walk in the warm welcome you receive set you off to a good start for the evening. The manager was on top form and his service can't be faulted. Very accomodating towards children. Once seated you get a complimentary warm basket of bread and the condiments taste absolutely fantastic. Wasn't a long wait to get our main meals and the Grills was tender, juicy and full of flavour. The grill chef cooked it to perfection. To top the food we like the bulgar rice (the traditional red) and that's one of the reason why we visited as many Turkish food outlet don't do it. Its definitely our new place for a Turkish dinner. Don't travel out of Walsall to get turkish food as this is worth visiting. I would highly recommend it.

I had a great experience here today with my husband. We enjoyed the food which was freshly made and full of flavour, served by great staff who were very kind and accommodating during our visit here. The speed of service was good and workers ensured we were comfortable, offering alternative food to us when dealing with a minor issue we had in a swift, professional manner. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good place to eat to try this place out, as the customer service, atmosphere and quality of food (including portion sizes) is worth going for to enjoy with family and friends.

The food was very good, the service was good as well. Only 3 things I would improve: 1: the kitchen extractor is not strong enough to clear the smoke in the restaurant, this is very unpleasant for the clients as it can be difficult to breath and is affecting the eyes 2: the boss should not shout at the waitress in front of the client, because it's not professional and also not nice. Even if she did something wrong, be discrete, be a gentleman and discuss with her discretely, in private 3: the music was nice but a bit too loud The restaurant has a lot of potential, the prices were decent, we really appreciated the customary turkish tea and coffee. Don't forget to leave a nice tip!

SALT ‘n’ PEPPER is an outstanding Turkish restaurant that I highly recommend. The moment I entered, I was greeted warmly and felt instantly welcomed. The menu is a true celebration of Turkish cuisine, with vibrant flavors and authentic dishes.

A lovely Turkish restaurant in Walsall, recieved complimentary salad, bread and dips to start and turkish tea to finish. Service was fantastic, food was reasonably priced and good portion sizes. I had mixed chicken/lamb shish and my partner had lamb both nicely marinated and succulent. So happy to find a local Turkish restaurant which is so nice!. Will definitely return.
