This beautiful display of water at work is truly a gem of Manchester and the pride of Levenshulme. The Fallowfield brook is a lovely brook to take a stroll along and the waterfall is always a highlight of such a trip. Unfortunately the waterfall does suffer in the terrible droughts often struck on the area, but if you can catch it during the Levenshulme monsoon season I promise you, you won't be disappointed.

As a visitor from the US, and a huge fan of both Niagara Falls and Yosemite NP, I was skeptical of the descriptions of this natural attraction. I was left awestruck and yet incredibly humbled by the sublime beauty of the surrounding area and approach to the falls. I stood agape a the foot of the falls and beheld the majestic wonder for over an hour. Time almost seemed to stand still. Highfield CP deserves AONB status and perhaps addition to the National Trust. A true wonder to behold.

After bathing in the cool healing waters of the tumbling falls I was cured of all my ailments. I entered the waters spiritually adrift, a face in the crowd, a child of circumstance. I left a man. Five stars.

I was baptised in Levenshume waterfall WOW! What an experience, I truly feel whole again. The lord, the ghost and the Holy Spirit are truly inside me, or maybe that’s the eels which live deep within the falls. If you need enlightenment, I urge you to attend!

Absolute hidden gem. No need to trek out far from Manchester to see this picturesque spot. Our Canadian friend was over and we knew we had to bring her along. Hearing those cascading sounds while meditating here puts you at one with nature. I'm loving the art nouveau Iceland bag that crouches beside the Capri sun. All adding to the ambience of the area. πŸŒŠπŸ’¦πŸ’§πŸͺ¨

A delightful work of engineering creates a paradise of peace and tranquility in an area of bustle and chaos. I would recommend a day trip here for those who enjoy the quietude of nature and those requiring a break from the city and its noise. A truly breathtaking and eye opening visit for anyone who takes the time to pilgrimage to this shrine of peace.

There are some in Manchester who do not believe this cascade of water deserves the title "waterfall" but I personally disagree. A walk through Highfield simply isn't complete without a quick check to see whether the Falls are in full thuderous flow or simply a gentle trickle. Levenshulme Waterfall is our greatest attraction and I wouldn't change it for anything.

No other place in Manchester, perhaps even in the whole of the United Kingdom, can come close to the idyllic tranquillity of the Levenshulme Waterfall. I have spent many an afternoon sat by this tumultuous cascade and always leave with a true sense of inner peace and refreshment. Definitely worth a visit - it might just change your life!

stumbled across this absolute gorgeous gem on one of my walks, I was completely awestruck by its elegance. I now visit regularly to perform rituals at its waters, and sometimes I receive gifts in return (mostly golf balls). Definitely recommend checking this beauty out.

Levenshulme Waterfall may not have the height of Angel Falls or the power of Murchison Falls but it holds magical and mystical qualities unknown elsewhere. The trickling splendour closes the mind to the cast-off Stella cans and cig packets. You will be transported to a litter free world of enchantment.

Followed Google map and could not locate it. I met a dog walker there who said that he doesn't know of a waterfall in the location. However, I did see some stream like running water which maybe the waterfall, just saying. Update: Owner responded asking me to locate Specsavers using Google map, really? A kind word for you owner, a proper signpost would be helpful.

Spectacular feature. Should be twinned with Gnome Island in Salford quays in recognition of it's long standing contribution to Mancunian heritage sites.

Reminds me in many ways of the Holy Chalice Well in Glastonbury. A place of spiritual power and healing.

Wasn't disappointed. Such a wonderful community asset - a tranquil oasis just a stone's throw from the bustle of the A6

I tried to capture the raw shock and overwhelm I felt when visiting this spot of beauty. It really does take the breath away..... especially magical when McVities nearby are pumping out that good good cookie smell - just a treat for all the senses! PS finding this map tag filled me with joy and chuckles. I love that this kind of nonsense exists in the world. Thank you to the 'owner' for bringing this into my life

A fantastic find, a very much hidden gem Beware of tourist traps nearby as it seems that over the years it's become too popular for its own good Still some fantastic memories here, walk my cat here sometimes too πŸ˜€

It was not even a waterfall. The waterfall was not even active. There was very little water in the pond.
