This is a great place to visit, they have now started a quiz whilst going round to make sure your child actually pays attention to the signs on the wall. It's also a little sad that it shows how some people can be so selfish they can easily sacrifice anyone and everyone for their beliefs. A small tip, add maps to each exhibit to show where in the world it happened. Definition worth a look and the staff guy was very nice

My son, sister and I enjoyed our visit in August 2022. The museum was well organised with clear labels and detailed information. The staff were very friendly; great customer service.

This location is worthy of being the only place in Torquay with a 5 star rating. It seems a lot smaller from the outside, which it definitely isn't - I didn't expect it to have 2 layers!! The amount of memorabilia there was also astonishing for the size of the place, featuring a multitude of coins, guns, uniforms and models. There are also larger and rarer items too - A cold war motorcycle and aircraft seats, and my personal faveroute the only Panavia Tornado radar on display in the entirety of the UK!! The quiz you can partake in is also really great too, allowing people to use the information on the signs for something, and have people pay attention to them instead of just looking at the displays, a very good thing for younger children who may visit. And this quiz isn't for nothing too, you have a chance of winning free stuff such as authentic hats and coats The price was also pretty good too, being ~ÂŁ20 for a group of 3 isn't bad, as the price also includes the quiz which all 3 of could do separately, and for the size of the place too is rather good! Overall, this is a fantastic place to visit if you are in the Torquay area as a Military fan and like places with little amounts of people (apart from ourselves and the person at the desk we saw 4 other people across the entire hour)

Nice military 🪖🎖️ museum but small for my liking but had lot interesting history, told you notes about in detail which was good on notices. They gave you quiz to go round complete so fingers cross I win at end of the month see what you get for winning.lol

Absolutely worth a visit. The chap on the reception was really friendly and helpful. There is a lot to see as you walk through. (Its surprisingly large inside). We saw several artifacts that we haven't seen in other military museums which was great. My son enjoyed the quiz as we walked around and this prompted him to read the facts boards as we went along rather than just looking at the items. We will certainly visit again.

What a great museum. So happy we came to visit today. My son is very much interested in history and military. He could easily spend all day in the museum. The member of staff was really helpful and friendly. I would certainly recommend the museum to friends and family. Great experience.

Nice museum told they were only open for 5 days so far lovely military displays and very educational from the zulu tribe attack all the way through to vietnam including Falklands with a framed surrender notice. Well worth looking at it even displays SAS kit if you like military history then this is your place to go.

We visited the Military Museum today and were greeted by a lovely lady on the entrance. Tickets are very reasonable for the amount they have to offer. When you go in you get to see lots of exhibits from different areas of war plus lots of information about the exhibits to really help understand the items. They even have a bunker down stairs which is full of all sorts of items to do with war. This was a great experience and I would highly recommend to anyone with an interest plus people of all ages.

Sharing a few photos but it isn’t close to the amount of things on display for you to visit and see. We went in and bought adult tickets for £9.95 each and children under 8 were free, I’d say it’s worth it’s money if anything related to military is your thing, they have so much for you to look at. If you have a pushchair I’d recommend either staying on the ground floor or leaving the pushchair and carrying the child down “into the bunker” to view the rest of the exhibits. From the outside it looks like a really small museum but there’s actually a lot of ground space even before you factor in the downstairs area. There is toilets at the museum but I can’t comment on these or advise if there’s a disabled/changing room area as we didn’t visit the toilets. There was signs for men’s/women’s toilets so there should be at least one, I’d recommend enquiring beforehand if planning on going with mobility issues and you think you may require the toilet or help getting downstairs. There was a quiz sheet given in which you could win some army gear if you won, the questions were related to things in the exhibit which is a really good way to get children and adults reading the information given about the exhibits.
