This is a good example of what EV rapid charging stations should be like, with shops & food points a few minutes walk away. Another 2 cars pulled in just after I took some pictures. Charging up to 300 KWh, so shouldn't need to stop for more than 30 minutes. Need many more of these around the country.

I tried out the Fastned chargers in Hamilton and they were awesome! The charging was super quick and the chargers were well-kept and user-friendly. The only downside is that they're a bit pricey compared to other charging spots, but honestly, it's worth it for the convenience and quality. If you're driving an electric car in the area, I'd definitely recommend giving the Fastned chargers a go!

UPDATE 30AUG23: A great way to charge. Busiest I've seen it in 5 visits. 6 bays in use out of the 8 on arrival, with 2 leaving shortly after. Still the way charging should be, especially now that I have 'Autocharge' working. Plug and play. How charging should be. Clean, crisp and simple. Chargers are new and up to 300KW. Find a vacant bay, chargers take contact less card. If you have the Fastned app you can also start/finish charging via your phone. We put 64KW in the car, which took it to 100% in 40 minutes, enough time to walk to the nearest McDonalds for a coffee, muffin and toilet stop. 80% would have been achieved in 20 minutes.

Best charging point I’ve used since buying my EV January 2022. This is the forth charging point I attempted in Glasgow which travelling back from Oban. 3 in use within supermarket car parks. 1 completely out of order. 8 charge point all high Kw. Very impressed. I hope they continue to expand across the UK!

New and fast chargers which were slightly difficult to understand how to operate. In the end I could only stop charging from the car (which is probably how it should be) and then this seemed to work fine. Location is behind a large building (cant remember what, Asda possibly), might be a bit initimidating for single people, especially females at night.

Tapped card, plugged in, charged car. As easy as it should be really. Only difficulty was knowing whether I needed to pay a parking charge while plugged in. No signs that I could see explaining what, if anything, I was expected to pay. With the chargers being inside a pay and display carpark with a sign saying I'd be fined £60 if I didn't buy a ticket for parking certainly made me uneasy.

Great fast charging station! Benches are a nice touch, and an easy walk to retail outlets and food. Easy contactless charging, and somewhere to eat and buy dog treats close by. We’d like more places like this in the South!

Good charging station, 3 Chademo 50kW and probably 8 CCS 300kW chargers. Easy to pay using an Octopus Juice RFID card, but if you're using a contactless card then the hold amount is an eye watering £40!

Excellent, albeit expensive, place to charge, with eight ultrafast chargers. The adjacent retail park gives you plenty of opportunity to while away the time in the usual mix of soulless chain outlets.

Plentiful charging just off the motorway. A short walk to McDonald's, KFC, and Pizza Hut (plus other retailers!).

Excellent clean, quick charge. Could do with some rubbish bins around.

Since I enabled autocharge, all I have to do is to plug in, and the charge starts automatically. Like magic. Just for that this place deserves 5⭐. Why carry membership cards and fobs, when your car can be the "card". Nice job Fastned!

Only in Scotland can you have a charging station called FASTNED!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Not far off the M74, is a 300kw charger (my Enyaq only goes to 125kw) and both times have charged, no issues.
