Was
up
in
Sevenoaks
work
wise
and
happened
upon
this
delightful
Venezuelan
cafe
called
Budare
(budare
is
a
large
open
flat
baking
pan
similar
to
a
comal,
used
to
cook
flatbreads
etc)...
I
ordered
a
vegetarian
arepa
(also
called
tijitafun
or
fectegua,
it's
a
patty
made
of
ground
maize
dough
stuffed
with
a
delicious
filling
of
black
beans,
avocados,
plantain,
cheese,
and
served
hot...
Similar
to
a
sandwich
this
dish
has
been
a
staple
in
the
northern
region
of
South
America
since
pre-Columbian
times,
and
notable
primarily
in
the
cuisines
of
Colombia
and
Venezuela)
and
it's
the
first
time
I've
had
it
and
definitely
recommended...
They
have
meat
options
but
I
opted
for
a
vegetarian
(and
gluten
free)
filling
to
be
slightly
healthier,
I've
also
had
their
rice
and
beans
dish
at
a
local
food
festival
and
it
was
equally
lovely...
Lovely
and
attentive
service
&
food
and
recommended!
