Gorgeous food always! The salads are wonderful, the coffees and sweet treats, out of this world 😍. Friendly and attentive staff and very professional.

Amazing cafe - fully recommend it. Danny was a great host and the food delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming. Fresh salads and great sarnies, and home made soups. All reasonable too.

Five stars for everything. Looks very inviting but as we had our dog with us we didn't think we could go in but the big sign saying dogs welcome changed our minds. We ordered, including a sausage roll for the dog. We were pointed to dog biscuits available by the door. Food arrived and it was delicious. Dog's sausage roll arrived all cut up in a dog bowl. Should get an extra star for that!! Lovely atmosphere. A wide selection of food including lots of cakes 😋 The staff were very engaging and happy including some singing along to songs on the radio. If in Lewes, a must for your visit and your tummy ⭐

Most amazing lunch here! As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a smile, given recommendations for items off the menu. The food was outstanding - looked beautiful and tasted even better. Danny was out server and he was super attentive and helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone nearby or visiting Lewes. We will be back!

Always a joy to visit Danny and all his great staff at this cafe. The food is delicious and great value for money. Very varied drinks and food menu , which always makes it hard to choose what to order. Spotlessly clean and efficient service. A great addition to our neighbourhood, highly recommend!

We stopped in Lewes on our way to Hastings and were very lucky to stumble across this great café. Very nice decor, friendly staff and tasty food. We had the fishfinger sandwiches and a salad - delicious!

What an absolute delight of a cafe. We're not from the area but would certainly visit again when passing through. The gentleman who served us (I'm assuming he was the owner) was so attentive, friendly and kind. He showed me to a table where I could work quietly on my laptop and then served delicious food and coffee. So delicious that we ordered more to go. Thank you!

Lovely friendly staff, kind and attentive. Efficient service and food is excellent. Tables are nicely spaced and it’s comfortable and easy to have a conversation. Dan, the owner, is impressive with his energy and friendliness. Nothing you ask for feels like a problem. Wishing Dan and all the staff every success. Highly recommend. This café is the best on the entire planet, from the unbelievably friendly welcome, to the epic focaccia sandwich things. I would run out of superlatives describing this little gem of a café. Deserves 6 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very nice meals at Sip today. We had very little time as we were on a singing workshop but the manager really tried hard to accommodate us. The halloumi and avocado salad was terrific. Very fresh and beautifully put together.

BLT delicious, plenty of thick, well cooked bacon. Mum had one of the specials...chicken skewers. Good size portions, delicious. Mum and Dad are cappuccino addicts and thought the coffees here had the best flavour they'd tasted anywhere. Lovely waiter, very friendly and bubbly. We'll be back x

If you're looking for a warm welcome, a piping hot coffee (however you take it) and a menu that is colourful and fresh, The Sip is a top spot in Lewes. I always enjoy the vibes and the menu is very tasty. They're also great at accommodating vegan diets and have bakes and cakes for PB dieters as well :)
