Really lovely vegan cafe. I absolutely loved the Perilla Mushroom Toast & my friend really enjoyed the Jeonju Bagel. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and really delicious. I was left with a very strong umami taste for a long time afterwards and wondered if they used MSG, but otherwise perfect. Staff also really friendly & welcoming

The best new cafe in Lewes. Offering Korean food and excellent coffee within a cute peaceful atmosphere. Despite not yet having a full kitchen, Cafe Vegu offer a different special almost everyday Looking forward to the grand opening next year!

A great new (ish) vegan Korean restaurant in Lewes. The staff made us feel very welcome, and we ordered two rice bowls for lunch. (I was very tempted by the katsu curry, but in the end I went for the kimchi rice bowl because I was craving kimchi). Fantastic, filling, warming food. Looking forward to visiting again soon to explore the more of the menu!

A beautiful Vegan Cafe in Lewes. Amazing coffee's, hot food and lunches! All Vegan Korean food and all very tasty! I have visited numerous times and will be a regular at this place! 10/10

Delicious, authentic tasting Korean food. With some amazing fusion (Bulgogi pasty!) Soondubu jjigae was really tasty. So was the black sesame latte, garlic cream cheese bun and red bean bun!

Great new Korean cafe. Fantastic coffee. We had the pasties for breakfast as offer quite limited. Need not have worried as delicious. Try something new and be pleasantly surprised. Deserves to succeed!

The jumeokbab was so delicious, I can’t wait to come back and try the coffee & other food. It’s also a nice relaxing space, and looks like it will be expanding soon with a proper kitchen which is exciting!

Myself and my partner enjoyed a delicious chai latte, oat latte, pasty and millionaire shortbread in here today. Nice decor, relaxing vibe and friendly staff. So happy that we have a nice cafe to visit on our trips to Lewes as it can sometimes be tricky to find a vegan bite to eat in the town.

Cool little Vegan cafe with an amazing Korean menu. Seats about 20-25 people, serving a variety of coffees and teas, juices and smoothies with a tasty range of cakes and buns (try the red bean bun!) alongside the simple brunch/lunch menu.

A little cafe which serves amazing food. The perilla mushroom toast, chia cookies and banana bread were delicious! The staff are friendly and helpful, lots of lovely touches around the cafe. We can't wait to come back.

WOW best café I've been to - cakes are out of the world. Must try the black sesame and coffee cupcake!! The food and drinks were faultless. And vegan friendly! Such a gem. Plan on travelling back to Lewes to experience this café again. We also had a matcha iced tea, a black seasame iced latte and a matcha and white chocolate cookie. The Korean twist on Beans on Toast was mind-blowing! The owner of Café Vegu is lovely and you can see his passion for bringing Korean flavours into the café scene. 10/10

The restaurant at midday was packed and had to wait for a table. The staff are very friendly and the food is pretty authentic albeit vegan. Portions are good for the price but to me the dishes didn’t zing. Definitely worth a punt if visiting this pretty town.

Suuuuuuch an amazing vegan cafe! Friendly vibe, delicious food (we recommend kimchi fried rice and tofu katsu sauce rice), in addition to fresh pastries (we recommend matcha white choc cookie and yuju and coconut cream muffin). Note, kitchen closes at 3pm! From then to 4.30 you can get pastries and coffees.

Some of the best Korean food I’ve had! Really lovely place with amazing options. Love being able to have everything on the menu 💓 I had the bibimbap and a sesame & coffee cupcake which were both delicious 😋 they also had lots of savoury snacks which all looked great and I will come back for next time!

We almost passed right past this place originally and I am very glad we didn’t, very lovely and well priced cafe. The menu has a variety of different Korean food, and it was incredibly delicious and unique. The staff were kind and helpful in explaining the different options, and if you even wanted to pop in quickly, they have lots of different pastries ready to go that are also delicious ! Absolutely brilliant to have this vegan cafe in Lewes, and interesting to be Korean themed. The food I tried was very tasty and they deserve much support and success.

Delicious food, we’ve had the rice with kimchi stew with silk tofu and a very cute dog shaped coconut macaroon. The staff was lovely, food was served quickly, will definitely be back for more. Highly recommend

Fantastic Korean all vegan restaurant/cafe. I particularly loved the black sesame ice-cream, must try! Very friendly atmosphere, a great place to meet up with friends and have a catch up.
