Its the only cafe i know that runs out of milk and sugar when its in a supermarket. We usually just have a drink last time we went they didn't have any chocolate so we didn't stop as thats all i drink . This time they didn't have any tea spoons. The place itself seemed clean but there were a few tables that hadn't been cleared. I wouldn't have anything to eat not after we waited 30mins for 2 slices of toast one time which were stone cold . I suspect they had been done but not brought out. Its ok for a drink when they have itl Returned the other day no hot chocolate, no cappuccino and no fish. I rest my case🙄

Ordered 2 ultimate breakfasts and 2 pots of tea. Requested both breakfasts without black pudding and swap toast for the fried bread on 1 of them, food arrive with black pudding on both and the server seemed put out that we would not accept them, but they were remade correctly. Was charged for the swapped toast as was not swapped but requested as extra. Took a few minutes of looking to find 2 clean cups, I dont mean just a little stained, but most looked like they had been used and just placed back without being washed. Luckily I always carry wipes as from the tray, table and the cutlery everything had to be wiped. Hash browns were very greasy but apart from that the food was nice although not very warm.

Staff told me they were really busy the day before so didn’t have time to wash the cups properly. Absolutely disgusting that they would put customers health at risk. We were due to get a bite to eat but can only imagine what the kitchen is like!! Manager needs firing if this is the standard. Environmental health needs to shut them down.

Firstly the screens where you sef order weren't working, so had to go to the till. There was nobody on it, but on saying "excuse me" to a member of staff, we were, rudely told to wait a minute, as she was busy. Ordered food for two people, a roast dinner and a bacon sandwich. One meal was brought out, the roast dinner, minus the Yorkshire pudding, but not the bacon sandwich. Had to ask for the Yorkshire puddings, and then wait for them. They arrived, but still no sandwich. Asked about the sandwich, which was brought out, but had likely been sat somewhere, as it was cold. There were hardly any staff on, the food was really disappointing, which is a shame, as it used to be a treat to come here for a meal. I would not recommend this cafe.

Why do we bother? It’s happening more and more, we used to be Morrison’s cafe fans, what happened ? Did you dine in — NO , we walked out What did you get — nothing, till assistant walked away with a shrug and left 5 people complaining that the ONE coffee machine that was supposed to be working wasn’t . How much did you spend — nothing ,see above , Does anyone in charge care anymore ? Are there no supervisors or staff training ? AND if you think this is bad you should try Morrison’s Ecclesfield where staff pointedly ignore customers while they finish their gossip and are so “ busy “ they can’t find the time to clear tables.

Absolutely dire food today, the cafe was packed and only 2 staff were on. One woman was dishing out food, taking orders and cleaning tables. She deserves a bloody medal. No doubt skimping on staff wages is having a serious negative effect. I had to wait 35 minutes for a cold bacon sandwich to turn up which was rejected. Cold bacon is just a no. Sorry morrisons, I used to love your cafe but it really is not good anymore

Poached eggs on toast, toast had a tiny amount of spread in the middle but none on edges. Eggs were diabolical and everything was cold. Cafe wasn't busy but we still had to wait at least 20 mins and by that time we had drunk our luke warm coffee, very poor, never again.

Just had beef roast asked for no veg it came with just potatoes and meat no Yorkshire puds it was cold and my mates bacon butty ordered at the same time had to ask were it was 10 mins later it arrived cold will not go there again worst dinner ever gave my friend the possessed beef for her dog

Much improved since my last visit , friendly helpful smiling staff decent food and clean 😁😁😁😁

I ordered a bacon sandwich this morning and waited 30 minutes until it eventually arrived, (the place wasn’t even that busy) The bacon was RAW …even other customers nearby noticed it. I returned sandwich and got a refund as I couldn’t wait any longer, not once did anyone offer an apology, This place used to be decent-sadly not now! No wonder the ratings are so poor!

Extremely unhygienic, some members of staff are rude, and ridiculously long waiting times for simple meals.
