Love it here our regular coffee shop on our Leighton trips . Maria and her team are lovely . Very happy experience.

We were visiting locally and new to Leighton Buzzard. There were plenty of the usual high street coffee shops, but it was the wonderful aroma of first class coffee, that drew us through the door of this quaint Italian Café. We were not disappointed! Our Cappuccino's were perfect, in decent size cups and hot! We both opted for the dark chocolate encased orange cake. It was so delicious, that we should have got extra to take home. Owner, Maria, was absolutely lovely and we enjoyed attentive, friendly service from Louisa. We will definitely be returning! Cittadina is well worth a visit. They also cater for small events and benefit from a sheltered garden at the back.

I see Cittadina has good reviews, I bet none of these people have tried it at 3pm on a Sunday.. service absolutely appalling, staff disappointed customers had entered only interested in closing and getting out, I have never left a review in my life but had to on this .... disgusted Have also now read other reviews stating the same thing, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SERVE AFTER 2PM THEN DONT BE OPEN !

Have been here a couple of times and enjoyed pleasant service and coffee thought we pay another visit. Today we walked in, no customers in there and asked for 2 large coffees and 2 cakes to the somewhat surly reply of “we’re only doing takeaway today”. More like we’re chatting to our friends and can’t be arsed! Support local business? Yes but you need to make an effort! Currently sitting in Costa with my cake and huge Cappuccino… you snooze… you lose. This was a 2 star review but have upgraded to a generous 3 based on previous splendid service.
