A fabulous and comprehensive menu, of English and Hungarian food, we tried homemade Hungarian dishes and they were delicious. Fantastic customer service and reasonably priced. Great to support a family business as well. Would highly re recommend and already looking forward to my next meal there.

This restaurant is amazing! Highly recommended. Have some traditional Hungarian foods on the menu. The Hungarian wines on drink menu. Service is excellent, the interior is very beautiful.

Such a fantastic addition to our town! Gorgeous food very reasonably priced, the staff were friendly & attentive. The meat platter was huge but so tasty! Highly recommend the Hungarian red wine to accompany :)

Such an amazing experience coming here! The Hungarian food was spot on and tasted just like it was from Hungary! The Suzy’s special dessert was the best! The staff were so friendly and helpful (especially Suzy!) and gave me such a lovely birthday experience. Would definitely recommend and would 100% come back again!!!

Great restaurant run by Hungarian-Romanian friends who put their hearts and soul into the service and the dishes! I’ve decided to go for the traditional Eastern Europian and started with the Hungarian Hortobágyi pancakes filled with thinly pulled chicken, which were just melting in my mouth. As a main I had the Chicken paprikash which tasted exactly like my mums - just amazing! All splashed down with a proper one and only Czech Budvar and topped off with the desert of the day Vergabeles (uber Transilvanian) served with homemade custard and berry compote! Definitely worth a visit! Thank you guys for the great experience, keep it up! 👍👍👍

We had a really great experience at this new restaurant in Littlehampton, THE MENU!! Excelent, friendly service nice vibe and tasty yummy finger licking hearthy meals. Love the fact that everything is homemade ❤️ Hope the Guys are staying for a very long time!!

We recently had pleasure of dining at THE MENU, a charming Hungarian/Europian restaurant, I must say it was an excellent experience from start to finish. 🤩 This hidden gem in Littlehampton offers a menu that showcases the rich and diverse flavours of Hungary,Romania and the surrounding region. But also local food is on the menu, like fish and chips or beef wellington. The standout of this restaurant is undoubtedly the food, bursting with authentic flavours. The ingredients were fresh and nicely presented. For starter we had "Hungarian Hortobagyi pancake" and White bait, for maincourse Mussels in creamy white wine sauce and slow cooked pork shank. Complementing the delicious food we had Hungarian Palinka shot made from plum, we were advised to drink it just before start eating,that is how they do it in Hungary. Also we had Hungarian soft drink and dry white wine. There is an extensive selection of Europian drinks on the menu. Wheter you prefer a glass of Hungarian wine, beer, palinka or soft drink you can find it. The restaurant atmosphere was warm and inviting, with cozy, quirky lighting that created a relaxing atmosphere. I must mention the friendly and attentive service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I can't wait to return and explore more of their tempting menu offerings.

Large restaurant serving varied menu including Eastern European dishes mixed in with the more mainstream and Burgers . Wines mainly from Romania and beer mostly from Czechia and Hungary. The mussels starter with homemade bread was gorgeous as was pudding in the form of Suzy's cottage cheese and cherry roulade. We recommend and plan to revisit

Had heard good things about The Menu, they were all correct. A delicious meal, generous portion sizes and excellent, friendly service. Can't wait to go back.

This was such a nice surprise! Food is delicious and service is excellent! Perfect place to go (especially) if you’re Romanian/Hungarian and miss the food back home! We can’t wait to come back!

Pleasant environment, you feel very cozy in this restaurant. The service was very pleasant and friendly and the food exceeded my expectations. Excellent traditional Hungarian food and very nice homemade bread. We are 100% going to go back and try the rest of the menu because it is worth it.
