We
recently
had
pleasure
of
dining
at
THE
MENU,
a
charming
Hungarian/Europian
restaurant,
I
must
say
it
was
an
excellent
experience
from
start
to
finish.
🤩
This
hidden
gem
in
Littlehampton
offers
a
menu
that
showcases
the
rich
and
diverse
flavours
of
Hungary,Romania
and
the
surrounding
region.
But
also
local
food
is
on
the
menu,
like
fish
and
chips
or
beef
wellington.
The
standout
of
this
restaurant
is
undoubtedly
the
food,
bursting
with
authentic
flavours.
The
ingredients
were
fresh
and
nicely
presented.
For
starter
we
had
"Hungarian
Hortobagyi
pancake"
and
White
bait,
for
maincourse
Mussels
in
creamy
white
wine
sauce
and
slow
cooked
pork
shank.
Complementing
the
delicious
food
we
had
Hungarian
Palinka
shot
made
from
plum,
we
were
advised
to
drink
it
just
before
start
eating,that
is
how
they
do
it
in
Hungary.
Also
we
had
Hungarian
soft
drink
and
dry
white
wine.
There
is
an
extensive
selection
of
Europian
drinks
on
the
menu.
Wheter
you
prefer
a
glass
of
Hungarian
wine,
beer,
palinka
or
soft
drink
you
can
find
it.
The
restaurant
atmosphere
was
warm
and
inviting,
with
cozy,
quirky
lighting
that
created
a
relaxing
atmosphere.
I
must
mention
the
friendly
and
attentive
service.
The
staff
went
above
and
beyond
to
make
us
feel
welcome.
I
can't
wait
to
return
and
explore
more
of
their
tempting
menu
offerings.
