Had a wonderful Sunday, Mother’s Day Roast dinner at this cosy spot. Great selection of wines, lovely food, excellent atmosphere topped off with friendly personable service helped to make the occasion memorable for the family. This is a hidden gem within Budleigh and will definitely return.

We walked all the way from Sandy Bay and the intention was just to have a coffee but we stayed for lunch too! We ended up at The Salt Cellars for a couple of hours. We played games they had with our kids and the staff were super friendly. The drinks and food were delicious too. I remember saying to my husband that if The Salt Cellars was in our area, I would be there weekly! It was so reasonable price wise too.

Absolutely love it here, we live just down the road and are always popping in. Whether it's to grab a pint of milk or some eggs, stopping for a cheeky coffee after the school run or having a leisurely Sunday breakfast with the family or a rare date night for Jeff and Sophie's amazing pizza, it's one of our favourite places in Budleigh. Always feel very well looked after, thanks guys!

Great little cafe on a residential street. They hosted my 9yo daughter's birthday party and did a superb job. They made pizzas (excellent), chocolate cake (delicious), and got the kids to decorate easter eggs. Everyone had a great time. They also make a perfect flat white. Thank you!

Awesome cafe with brilliant pizzas on a Saturday evening. Lovely cakes, and to top it off we can grab essentials for home as well ( bread, milk, eggs etc). My daughter loves drawing on the tables with the chalk too!!

Hidden Gem in Budleigh! Visited with my Grandma and 2 year old several weeks ago for lunch and the staff were so accommodating. The access was great for my 85 year old Grandma and there were games and chalkboard table for my 2 year old. The food was delicious and reasonably priced and the cakes were amazing! Thank you for making us feel so welcome in your lovely little cafe. I’m sure we’ll be back again very soon!

A fantastic little cafe, we stopped here mid cycle from Lyme Regis to Exeter and were instantly met with a very warm welcome, before enjoying great coffees and yummy freshly made chocolate orange cake and a scone. The real winner with this little gem, however, is the people that work there… we arrived at the cafe with a mechanical issue on one of our bikes and without hesitation owner Geoff tried to help us fix the issue and when we couldn’t, he very kindly gave us a lift in his car to the local bike shop! This was such a great, find we will be back for sure and would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Had a lovely lunch today at The Salt Cellar, everything was very fresh and tasty (nicest pannini I have ever had and the dessert was delicious) and there was alot of options for vegetarians. Nothing was too much trouble and Jeff was lovely and welcoming, we are looking forward to going back. This will only mean something to those with children too but the high chair was spotless.

A real find, off the beaten track. Always great service and the owners are very attentive. Has become a regular haunt for us our first choice when going out for coffee etc. Evening meals and lunches are special too. There’s even a shop area with essentials and a selection of cakes and pastries etc. Table service and outside are too. Perfect really.

We had a wonderful time here when caught out in a huge downpour - very welcoming even though we were absolutely soaked with two little ones! Food was excellent (highly recommend anything with sausages) and the staff were so helpful. Highly recommend! They also stock amazing local milk!

Popped in for lunch today and was greeted by the friendly owner. Food was hot and inviting. Tucked away in the back streets of Budleigh and very easy to park. Dog friendly too. Thank you.

One of the best prepared and presented bacon brie and cranberry pananni I've been served. And the coffee is exceptional. Its consistently good every time I go there.
