Michael Wilcox This shop was a mind-blow for me. I've had to get used to searching around for all sorts of hardware, from understocked shops and being served by young inexperienced staff. So I was pleasantly surprised to discover this place. What a tonic. I've just moved to the wonderful village of Corbridge and was amazed to find this seemingly small shop, which has so many additional rooms and extensions. It seems to go on forever. It's choc a bloc with really well chosen goods and you need quite a bit of time to get through it. The staff are friendly and helpful and it's like going back into the past when life and people were better. This shop's a real trip and you should take it, you'll be glad you did.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this shop!! What every you want or need for your kitchen or cleaning, you'll find it here, from bellows to light your fire to a porridge sportle! It sounds like it might be too diversified to be any good but it really isn't. A brilliant shop!

This is one of my absolute favourite shops, anything you want cooking/kitchen wise, but also hardware, gifts, gardening, DIY, homeware, etc etc. Sure you could find whatever you want here and friendly service. Whatever you do, don't go to Amazon, go to Walton's
