    I’ve attended a few retreats at the Stables from a number of day sessions to residential ones and I plan to continue to attend. I can not recommend this place enough!! From possibly the best sleep I’ve ever had in the comfiest beds to some of the tastiest, nutritious food and not forgetting every single member of staff (who genuinely feel like friends/family when you leave). Each retreat has held something different as the people who attend also influence how they go but I can hand on heart say I’ve met some of the loveliest, like minded people. Gemma and the team are just amazing. Gemma is so knowledgable but never forceful or shoving information at you. She has always got alternatives available so effortlessly switches to provide what the retreat needs, ensuring that everyone gets the best from their time there. Even the dogs provide a wonderful welcome 🥰 That’s not even mentioning the utterly stunning location for walks!

    We went to visit this wonderful space as we are holding our first retreat here - and we couldnt wish or think for a more perfect place! It is stunning , beautiful and everything you need for the perfect quiet getaway :) will defo be back! Xx

    My trip to Stables Wellbeing was my first ever yoga treat! I was made to feel so welcome, the programme was really varied and engaging, and the food was incredible! The location was perfect for a restful weekend away from the hecticness of everything. The wellness sessions were really beneficial and a good opportunity to reset. Would definitely recommend!

    I've just got back from the 4 day summer retreat and can highly recommend the experience. The accommodation is beautiful, Phil and Veronica are excellent hosts and made me feel completely at home. The food cooked by Kirsty was truly delicious. I had a lovely treatment with Heather which left me feeling refreshed. The heart and soul of this experience came from the whole team but in particular Gemma with some wonderful (and not too difficult) yoga sessions, and some really great coaching and life guidance. I also really appreciated the guided meditations and sound bath, not to mention the beautiful walks in the surrounding countryside and the great company of the other guests. So much in one weekend but also plenty of time to rest (and nap!!) I have come home feeling energised and ready to tackle life again, thank you all.

    Attended my first ever yoga day retreat recently and had the most wonderful, relaxing day. Set in such a beautiful, tranquil place, with everyone at the centre being so friendly and welcoming and especially Gemma, our yoga teacher who shared so much of her knowledge and kindness with us on the day, I left feeling very uplifted.

    Having recently moved to Wales I’m delighted to have found Stables Well-being to continue with Yoga and Pilates. The venue is beautifully situated and immaculately presented so you immediately feel peaceful and soothed. Gemma is an inspirational instructor who understands the balance in life and who constantly reaffirms the positives in life. She is always finding new ways to refresh her classes and has established regular day retreats. I went on a recent yoga day and came away feeling utterly wonderful! I wholeheartedly recommend Stables and Gemma to anyone.

    Highly recommended. I have been on 3 retreats now, and I can't wait to get back for my 4th. Phil, Veronica and Gemma were wonderful hosts, welcoming and approachable. The venue compliments a yoga based retreat, the food is exceptional and there are plenty of walks from the door. Sharing a dorm was fun. The yoga classes and activities were geared so that everyone, regardless of their experience, could get something from them. After every retreat I have felt refreshed and revitalised and buoyed up to face the eorld again. See you soon

    Just what the doctor ordered! The retreat is the perfect combination of movement, healthy food and mindful meditation. It’s as structured or as laid back as you want it to be. The hosts are very accommodating and down to earth. I’d definitely recommend and plan to go again.

    I enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing experience at Stable Wellbeing. It was great to see a family working so well together to provide a varied programme. The food was amazing; so yummy. Walking in the fabulous surrounding countryside was a joy. Above all it’s people who matter; Phil, Veronica and Gemma all contributed to my state of wellbeing over the weekend. I enjoyed my morning chats with Veronica and walks with Phil. Gemma led yoga, Pilates and Tai chi. She is an excellent teacher and flexible to the needs of each group member. I really feel Gemma’s passion for wellbeing and appreciate her wisdom to help me think about life changes I might choose to make. Thanks for a great few days and the opportunity to have a Shiatsu treatment too.

    I benefit enormously from my weekly Pilates and Yoga classes and hope to continue to do so for some years to come! I have also attended day retreats and pop up classes whenever possible. These are always very professionally run and I come from the Stables feeling as if I have achieved the set objectives, whilst being nurtured and cared for. In Gemma I have found a professional and very knowledgeable teacher who is encouraging, always supportive and mindful of my holistic wellbeing, a wonderful and caring person. The setting of the Stables in such beautiful country side and the excellent nourishing fresh food, coupled with Gemma’s expertise all adds to a positive overall experience of any class or retreat run by Gemma. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Stables to anyone interested in holistic wellbeing practices.
