My other half found this place and I was a touch apprehensive. It's just a little out of the way which is a positive. When we arrived it wasn't too busy at all and I think a lot of people think like me. I'm happy to say I was wrong. The lady on the desk was great and really wonderful with the kids. The place is full of antique cars, tractors, traction engines, fire engines etc. They're great to look at. They also have a little old penny arcade which is quite fun. The real winner for us having 2 little kids (5&2) was the old fashioned fairground rides. They were £1 a ride for adults, kids went free. The kids absolutely loved them. The guys running the rides were really friendly and great with the kids. Overall its an amazing place to just open your mind and step back in history. It was £9 per adult entry & the kids were free, overall about £30 for over 3 hours. My personal fave, the dodgems.... It does also have a decently priced cafe which is a bonus.

Fantastic place to visit with not only lots to see, but rides to also try out too! Great nostalgia trip and really highlights some of the golden years of fair ground experiences. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Child friendly too! Would definitely recommend a visit here. There's also a well stocked Cafe with drinks, cakes, sandwiches, paninis, as well as toilet / changing facilities. Thanks Scarborough Fair Collection, we'll be back!

Fantastic place, lots to see, lots of rides to go on, penny machines to play all different types. Lots of nostalgia to take you back some years. Lots to do and see. Wonderful ballroom dancing on a Thursday pm. Nice café with lovely staff. Old pennies to buy from reception for penny machines. Volunteers very informative about the vehicles. Wonderful for all ages. Thank you really loved it, will visit again soon.

Had great time, lot more to see than expected. Well presented. Information about items on display. Loved the fact you could go on some of the rides for a pound. All indoors so great for a wet day. Highly recommend.

Not quite what I expecting, it's a collection that seems to mainly consist of fairground organs (BEWARE the place is deafening, BEWARE), vintage vehicles and traction engines. There are a few fairground rides dotted here and there however they are only ran up periodically (Unlike the constant blaring of the organs). There are a few old vintage penny machines to play on, but you will need to buy the pennies at the front desk with cash! not card. We won't be in a hurry to return.

Been a couple of times now eh I've been staying at caravans near by. Always a lovely experience! Staff are so friendly and welcoming, easy to get change and the old pennies for the penny arcade. Rides are announced as they open and plenty of time for all guests to enjoy. Had a scone and a coffee in the cafe watching the organist and ballroom dancers which was lovely. Plenty to see and experience for adults and children, of our family group of 5, all enjoyed from a 9 year old to a 36 year old

I was very impressed. On paper this place looked as if it would pass an hour on a wet day. I was very wrong with that assumption! Lots to see and big variety. The old rides being operational and announced over tannoy before the ran was great! Rides were £1, dodgems were £2, and was fantastic to experience the older true fairground rides. The fairground music machines were amazing (and quite loud) to hear and watch. Great little cafe on-site reasonably priced with plenty of seating. Ample parking as well. We were there for just under three hours and it didn’t feel like that at all. Kids (9 & 1.5yrs) loved it and the experiences.

A superb collection of vintage machinery, and commercial vehicles, as well as the fairground equipment. There seemed to be a few classic trucks and buses missing since my last visit in 2018, but it's an absolutely amazing place. Well worth a visit.

An amazing hidden gem of a place. Great collection of vintage vehicles and fairground rides. The mechanical organs were fabulous to hear playing. We also got to hear The Mighty Worlitzer being played which was a real treat.

Lovely museum with tonnes of fairground rides (not running constantly the PA announces what is running and when), vintage cars, vintage tractors and traction engines. Also lots of models of all of the above and some old penny arcades (ask at reception for the bags of old pennies). Also has a nice cafe in a big dance hall and around lunchtime a chap come out and plays the Wurlitzer organ. Plenty of parking, nice and spacious.

Real look at days gone by. Simple entertainment but exceedingly clever mechanical organs. Many old cars and motorbikes. Added bonus of listening to the Wurlitzer organ twice. Excellent day out not expensive. Free parking.

Spent a couple of hours in here browsing around the museum, loads to see from household items to vehicles, and tractors to trams. Fairground rides are open but not all at the same time. The wurlitzers are going all the time and sound lovely, which really takes you back in time. There are different shows on most days from dances to assorted organ/wurlitzer players. The entrance fee wasn't too bad. £8 for OAP £9 adults. Family tickets are available, and there is free parking. The cafe is very reasonably priced, and the scones are delicious.

Great place to visit. Lots of vintage cars/motorbikes/vans/buses etc. Lovely organs from Germany. Nice cafe in the ballroom but no sandwiches left when we were there. Some old fashioned fairground rides to go on and everything is indoors
