On a sunny day I would rather be on this beach than any other in the world. Golden sand and at low tide the Horse pool appears on the right where the kids can swim and play. The lagoon on the left past Golden Burn beach and formed by the Trescore Islands, looks like it's out of a Disney film. Simply stunning.

Great, gently sloping beach. Nice rocks on both sides. Good for small children and dogs. Handy cafe and parking over the road.

Lovely dog friendly beach! Little shop with snacks and icecream and the loo is close by too!

Lovely beach, great for dogs and humans alike. Freshwater streams down the beach to the sea helpsing keep dogs hydrated and cool. Sand with flat rocks are easy on the feet. Great ice cream from the shop.

One of a number of flat beaches in the area but with the advantage of sea level access, parking, toilets and a small shop without the crowds of the larger ports and towns. A lifeguard is available in season. Plenty of rockpools for the kids - and dogs - to enjoy as well as sand and swimming.

Great beach. Small car park so get there before 1030 but that's also the best part as it limits how many people will be on the beach. All of the north side of rhe beach is permanently in sun and the south side mostly has shade along the edge of the cliffs which was handy with young kids. Also I recommend using some child labour and digging a hole for a relaxing pool to float on top of (or just walk to the sea...)

Love this place best beach and the best beach shop / ice cream / coffee shop. Plenty of parking and so worth a visit. Easter time we have had the best hot chocolate. Summer time ice cream and a sneaky beer.

Cosy, quiet, good surfing, delightful store with surf boards, wet suits, delicious pasties, ice cream and cakes, along with everything a local store should carry. Delightful service too! Dogs encouraged and expected.

We went for a walk to this beach on the first night of our holiday and it was lovely! Only downer is that it's all road walking, I didn't like that very much but the beach itself was stunning! Especially at night time 🌊
